I have pop up from adobe that tell me they have problem with my paiement and billing information and to go in my account or my lisence will stop working in 25 days again... I can't find anything wrong in my account infos. What do I need to check and change? Adobe takes the money directly on my credit card since almost 2 years and I haven't change anything sicne then. The expiration date is good. Also, I'm not able to contact the Adobe support, it's not available.

    Make sure you are updating your phone the correct way, by connecting to iTunes and clicking Check for Updates on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings.  Do not try to download the firmware file from the internet first.  Also be sure iTunes is up to date before updating.
    Delete the existing firmware (.ipsw) file and try again.  You will find it at one of the following locations:
    Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
    Windows XP: %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    Windows Vista: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    Windows 7: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

    Don't worry I've sorted it! I just had to turn off Reminders as well in iCloud. Calendar then worked fine, even when I turned Calendar and Reminders back on.

  • Upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard - now have problems with basic apps?

    I have a 2007 iMac (5.1, 2007) dual core. It's capable of running Snow Leopard and Lion (but not, I believe ML).
    I just bought the upgrade SL discs from Apple and installed them as an upgrade, moving up to 10.6.3 (from the discs). After running software update I'm now on 10.6.8.
    Since upgrading I've successfully run Time Machine. However I have the following problems:-
    A bunch of emails were present in the Inbox, but contained no body text - just the subject line. I have managed to since find most of them successfully from TM. This is a minor annoyance but I thought I'd mention it.
    ITunes won't boot up. It booted the first time I tried it, but since then the little icon just bounces up and down.
    Certain apps won't quit properly. I quit from the top menu, but the little blue light remains under the icon in the dock. I then have to 'Force Quit - Application Not Responding' *every time*.
    Safari frequently won't load up bookmarked or seach pages, the progress bar gets stuck part way across and I stare at the rainbow pinwheel for ages, before having to quit, then Force Quit, then restart Safari and try again.
    Now, I'm tempted to do a Clean Install, but after four international moves (Singapore-Australia-UK-Canada) I no longer have any of the original discs, and thus as I understand it will lose iLife. And iLife 11 needs Lion.
    I've done a disc permissions repair thing via the Mac Disc Utility. I've run a few clean-up operations via Onyx.
    Any suggestions gratefully received. My Mac as been running great for years, but this upgrade has been extremely disappointing thus far.

    Many thanks for your advice. I've read all the links and will be buying a 2nd external HD to do a SuperDuper back up. I already had a 1Tb drive with Maxtor back up on it, and I also managed to get a Time Machine back up as well, so at least my data should be safe.
    Qn - If I back up the System and Utility folders as well as the Home folder, I don't suppose I can restore them after an install and everything (eg iLife) will 'just work'?
    Anyway, I went straight from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I don't have any Tiger discs either (see reasons above) so now have no way of restoring original set up. I tried to boot from the SL install CD and then hold 'C' but must be getting something wrong as I don't get the Disk Utility pop up. It just boots as normal to the desktop.
    Anyway, via the normal Disc Utitlity I've done a Repair Permissions again with no major issues. However, my Onyx software now won't run at all so I can't clean any caches a second time.
    I've contacted the Apple rep who sold be the SL discs but she's not got back to me yet re iLife.
    This weekend I'm going to try a fresh upgrade. If that fails I'll try Erase and Install, if I can get the 'C' button timing right. I'll update if I have any successs.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

  • Invasive "pop-ups" from Adobe systems

    Hello, anyone with knowledge of this.   I am being plagued by a repetitive, invasive "pop-up" which blocks my screen contents, telling me to upgrade my Adobe Flash player, and when I click "OK" it gives me this non-descript ******** installation wizard with an agreement clause I'm supposed to allow, saying I agree to data collection and distribution to 3rd party software vendors, who trade in mal-ware products.  It is called WWW.THEREAFTERBUY.COM...   It cannot be deleted, it shows up everytime I try to view my intended web sites, and blocks my screen contents, forcing me to refresh my screen, and then it shows up again, and again.  I have tried repeatedly to contact someone from Adobe to complain, and find out how to get rid of it, but out of about 8 different telephone numbers I found on Adobe's customer support site, they ALL KEEP GIVING ME RECORDED SALES CRAP, OR NEW PRODUCT INFORMATION, THAT I DON'T WANT TO HEAR.  THEIR LEVELS OF INSULARY PROTECTION FOR THE PREVENTION OF DIRECT CONTACT BETWEEN EMPLOYEES AND COMPLAINANTS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.  THEY HAVE GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY TO COMPLICATE, AND RENDER THEIR TELEPHONE SYSTEM AS USELESS, AND USER UNFRIENDLY AS IT CAN BE.  FURTHERMORE, IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN TO THE COMPANY USING "TEXT", THE ONLY WAY IS TO FOLLOW A COMPLEX MAZE OF PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS.  IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THEY HIRED A YOUNG COLLEGE GRAD DETERMINED TO DISPLAY AWE INSPIRING TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, AND DAMN SIMPLE CUSTOMER USABILITY.  I would NOT spend company resources on Adobe products until the company becomes more "customer friendly" and not so TECHNICALLY BRILLIANT!!!   Michael Hesterberg  701-746-5650  [email protected]

    Sounds like a virus/worm/malware and nothing to do with Adobe or Flash. Have you run a deep scan with your installed antivirus application?

    You must have a Mac.  Try this.
    Quit Bridge, from user library (NOT system and root library) preferences folder find and delete the com.adobe.bridge5.plist file manual. Do this also in same user library caches folder (Caches/Adobe/Bridge CS6) and inhere find and the folder called 'cache' and drag it to the trash.
    restart Bridge holding down option key and choose reset preferences, then try again.

    From looking at the specifications of your camera (SJCam 4000), we know already what video compression your camera is using. It is H.264.
    A H.264.mov file should be supported by Premiere Elements 11. On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
    Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer? And, are you running QuickTime and Premiere Elements 11 from a
    User Account with administrative privileges? Please go to Premiere Elements 11 Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime to confirm that you find
    presets there for the QuickTime choice there.
    What are the properties of these H.264.mov files - is it 1080p30 (1920 x 1080p30)  or something else? Do you know if this camera is recording with a variable or
    a constant frame rate?
    Please review and consider and then we will decide what next.

    Unfortunately when Adobe products are restored from backup, especial CS4 and especially Mac, it breaks licensing.
    There is a python script included in the license recovery kit that should work if you are familiar with Terminal.
    If not, you must reinstall your CS4 suite.  You don't need to delete your preferences, so it should be the same as before.

    Save/Export them as JPG. Photoshop defaults to PSD, so make sure you select JPG and not just rename the file to .jpg.
    There are two ways to save them as JPG: Regular Save as option or Save for Web & Devices
    Take your pick.
