Heinonen Petri you can customize the installation location within the preferences for the Creative Cloud desktop application. Please be aware that the Creative Cloud desktop application and many shared components will always need to be installed to the primary drive containing the operating system.

It would appear after speaking with Adobe tech support and escalation team that AAM can't install acrobat to any drive other than C: (hard coded). THIS level of incompotence is amazing. I'm asking for a refund, if they are this incompentent on the install, imagine how bad the actuall code is.

Your answer is condesending and wrong. The CS6 stand-alone product and the trial product both install and run correctly from my D: drive. Basically what you are telling me is that this product can't be installed on any kind of SSD/HDD combo or any kind of remote (Citrix/Xen, VMWare desktop, etc) desktop. Which of course would mean your whole staff is UTTERLY INCOMPETENT, instead of the one or two people in charge of the AAM msi. Serriously, who tested and signed off on this?
Other than Windows AS, Microsoft has supported installing software to alternate drives since it's creation. Whoever told you that there is "Product Integrations" is likely the lazy/incompent programer that failed to complete the code in AAM. The only files required on the OS drive are files that have to be in the "system32" drive tree. (If you don't know what these are, then go look it up, because I do).
I spent 3 hours on the chat/phone with your tech support. We tried re-installing (because it somehow would not register with adobe, tried changing the directory in preferences to "D:\program files" vs "D:\program files (x86)", tried moving the files and changing the registry (I had to do it, they are not quite savy enought to search and replace a drive letter in the registry).
My system specs are pretty standard. Win7/64 60GB SSD for OS, 500GB hhd for profiles and software. All settings are set correcttly for the programs to install by default in drive D: (the windows registry and the profiles are all on D:)
Please be aware, I'm spending 3 more hours posting this everywhere.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
When you turn on the new iMac for the first time, Setup Assistant will ask you to restore a backup, so connect the external disk and follow steps to restore all your files to your new iMac. Your new Mac will have the same settings and programs as your old computer.
In other cases, I would recommend to restore the whole backup without using Migration Assistant or Setup Assistant, but a Late 2012 iMac uses a special OS X build, so the OS X version that you're using on your old Mac won't work on the new one. One more quick thing first. Hold the SHIFT key this time as you startup and see if that gets you any further (this is called 'Safe Mode' by the way). I'm not too confident that this will work in your case but it's worth a try. If it boots up, go into Disk Utility and repair permissions.
If it doesn't, you're going to have to do an Archive & Install which will install a fresh copy of the OS over the top BUT keep all your users, files and apps in place.

If you're in recovery mode, all data is ALREADY lost. You've no choice but to restore.

I'm trying to update Lightroom and get an Error 404. When I open Creative Cloud there is a small icon in the centre that locks the program.

I have 4 charges of the exact same amount on my debit card account and I DID NOT make them. How can I get iTunes to refund my money?

I tried entering in a new debit card number into my iTunes account yesterday, from my ipod touch. For some reason it was telling me the information I entered does not match my bank account. I tried 3 or 4 times, but to no avail. I figured I would wait until I was at home & do it from my home computer. I just got back from Afghanistan and discovered two fresh charges for $40.00 from itunes on my Visa account. I havent bought anything from I tunes in over a year. And sure as **** not worth $40.00. The Bank rep told me this has been happening a lot and credited my account for the $80.00 worth of unauthorized charges. Also had to have my card cancelled and get a new one. In MIRO, how can I get a credit to balance when using dr/cr lines?

When processing a logistics invoice verification document via MIRO, we're trying to post a credit memo against a purchase order with muliple lines (one return, and on non-return line). The value of the return line is greater, and the invoice is billing for receipts/returns on mulitple lines on the PO (it has a credit amount for the entire return to be posted against the return line, and a restocking fee to be posted against a text based PO line).
In MIRO, I have selected credit memo and am posting a credit for a gross amount of $550 in the header. The return line I'm trying to post against is for $575, and the non-return line for the restocking fee is for $25. However, when I'm posting against both, the system is indicating that I'm out of balance by $50. It appears that it's not calculating the $25 as a credit. I've tried looking at documents around posting against returns and posting credits, but haven't seen anything that addresses this scenario. I've also tried using negative amounts, but SAP does not accept these. We're currently using SAP ECC 6.0. How can I get this to balance?

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI doesn't carry audio unless you have the Mid 2010 model 7,1 and there're no audio plugs on most TVs to work with HDMI since it's expecting audio with the HDMI.
With the Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody there is an adapter that uses the Mini DisplayPort and a USB port to combine video and audio to HDMI. It's only 2 channel stereo not 5.1 Dolby Surround.

If you had the entire library running from the external drive it should be a matter of holding down option as you start iTunes and browsing to the library on the external drive.
If you'd followed the advice to move the media folder only then ideally you need to recover the library folder from your Macbook with a view to making the library portable on the external drive.
Otherwise you're going to have to simply import the content into a new library, losing rating, playlists, play counts. etc.
