Hi, no matter what setting I change, I am having the same problem.
I invite people to an event I create on iCal, but in the invitation message received the invitees, the event seems to be scheduled for one hour earlier. E.g, I create the event for 14:00 GMT, yet the invitation message says 13:00 GMT. We are in the same time zone with the other people receiving the message. And I have my iCal settings as well as iCloud settings set to GMT.
Can you please help me? I'm really frustrated!

What exactly are you doing and what version are you using with OS X 10.8?

I have many repeating events (birthdays) created in iCal. Recently, whenever I call up these events for editing, and when I save them, I get the message (for example) "Access to “Mom's birthday” in “Birthdays” in account “[username]@me.com” is not permitted.
The server responded:
“HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden”
to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation
I then get the choices to "Go Offline" or "Revert to Server".
Then, if I click "Revert to Server", the entire event disappears.
Can anyone let me know how to solve this problem?

It seems there may be a current issue with iCal communicating in MobileMe.

I had a similar problem, and i found that the photo was of very low resoluton. As a test I resized the image to a lrager resolution using photoshop CS4 and re saved it as JPG. I imported the new saved image and it seem to have fixed the problem.

Calendar events created in iCal sending multiple email invites to invitees

Background:
Google Apps domain account
Lion and Snow Leopard iCal users syncing to Google Calendar
Problem:
1.A Lion user creates a new iCal event and invites multiple people to the event. The event is created and then an email invitation is sent to all invitees. Each invitee receives 6 - 10 email notices about the evet.
2. the event organizer changes the event time, multiple email notices go out to all invitees (6-10 emails each).
What is causing this problem and is there a way to fix it?

Events not showing in iCal, but do on my iTouch Calendar

I am syncing my iCal 3.0.7 with GoogleCalendar using Calgoo connect 2.1.3. It uploads new events to my gCal, but if I create new events in gCal, they won't show up on iCal. I thought this was a Calgoo problem, but when I sync my iTouch with my computer, the invisible events will become visible on the iTouch, but still invisible on iCal.
Any ideas? Is there a setting on iCal to make certain events within a calendar invisible that I'm missing? All the "hide to do" options in iCal preferences are unchecked.

"You'll know the syncing issue when you see it, because the new events you enter into the Calendar on your Apple iPhone will not appear in iCal. Said another way, you'll enter a new event into your iPhone, use iTunes to sync with your Mac (or MacBook in our case) and the new event on your iPhone will not show up in iCal. Keep trying, synch as you might, iCal and the Apple iPhone just won't get along.
Here's the down and dirty fix:
Open iCal and backup or export your entries. Make a note of the fie name and location, you're going to need them in a minute. Once your backup/export is completed, close the iCal application.
Open Finder and remove everything inside the "Username/Library/Calendars" folder. For instance, if your username is "Joe", then move everything inside the "Joe/Library/Calendars" folder.
Open the iSync application. It's located in the "/Applications/" folder. Once iSync is opened, go into the iSync Preferences (iSync -> Preferences) and push/click the "Reset Sync History" button. Then, close the iSync application.
Re-Open the iCal application and Restore your calendar. When prompted, use your notes from Step #1 to select the file your created earlier.
At this point all my appointments were showing up properly in iCal, and did not disappear after syncing again with the iPhone.

the MainVI stops when you press the Stop2 button. Don't press that button to make it iterate more often…
Your subVI is very convoluted and will get a honorable mention in the RubeGoldberg thread. Maybe even in the "Why locals are bad" thread too…
- Don't abuse local variables: use wires instead! Please clean up your "signal" VI in that fashion.
- Afterwards rethink your logic. Why do you do the same operation 9 times in your VI? Why not use a loop instead?
- To integrate that VI as subVI in your MainVI you should remove it's while loop - or atleast make it run just once per call. Having a separate stop button in a subVI is (most-often) a NO-GO!
Btw. are you in the same team as Adithya working on a very related topic?

I am encountering the same thing as I am trying to restore my iPhone. How to fix this? I tried repairing iTunes. Still having the issue.

I'm suddenly having issues with my calendar...I will input a time and on the calendar it will show up an hour early ... If I click on the event it will show the correct time but at first glance it's showing one hour early! Help!

Anyone have suggestions?

Go to:
Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone
Check if you have your correct zone selected. Also, do you sync your calendars with any Mac or PC or Web service (like Google calendar)? If so, check if all your time zone settings are the same.

In Mail, clicking on a date does not properly create an iCal event

If I click on a time/date in an email, a miniature calendar pops up showing the event as best as Mail can parse it. There are also two buttons: Edit and Add to iCal. If I click on Edit, I get a chance to change some of the parameters of the event, and then there's a Creat button. If I click on this, however, no event is created in iCal. Nor is one created if I just clicked on the original Add to iCal button. Am I doing something wrong?

When I invite people to calendar meetings, they become the organizer!?!

I just set up my brand-new MacBookPro with Mountain Lion and am doing a clean install of all apps, data, etc instead of migrating from my old machine (which was still running Snow Leopard). I designated a "Me" contact card with just my primary email address on it. Now, when I create a meeting invitation in Calendar and try to invite someone (so far I've tried my husband and my Gmail address), Calendar adds my e-mail to the invitee list along with the other person's, locks me out from editing the appiointment, and makes my invitee the meeting organizer. My only options are to accept or decline the invite. Anyone know what could be causing this and how to solve the problem? I really need to be able to send invites so thanks for any suggestions!
PS if it helps, I have not been using iCloud (but would like to now!) and am not using any kind of Exchange.

ICal events are incorrect by one hour

I am using the Google Calendar and have an issue with the transfer of data from IPhone 3Gs to my IMac. If I place an event time on the Iphone calendar, this event gets transferred incorrectly to the IMac by one hour earlier. My IPad calendar transfers the timed event correctly to the IMac, but incorrectly to the IPhone. When going from IPad to IPhone the time on the IPhone is one hour later than it should be. The net result is a very confusing Calendar.

Today I created (3) All Day Events on my iPhone 4S to represent upcoming vacation days for Nov 21, 22, and 23. After sync, Outlook shows correct All-day events for 21 and 22. The All-day event for 23 is missing and displayed on Nov 24. This is a direct sync (wireless) and no Exchange server is involved. Any ideas? I see similar posts that go back to last year and iOS4. I would at least like to know if Apple is aware of this, or is it just my phone.

Icloud calendar showing events 1 hour early

I'm accessing my Calendar in icloud using Chrome (Version 35.0.1916.153 m) from my work PC. I've noticed that sometimes the events I've entered manually have mysteriously changed time so that they appear one hour earlier than I originally entered them as. If I double click the event to open it to edit it, the correct time is shown but as soon as I close it again it is listed incorrectly.
Any ideas?
