I just downloaded Firefox and lost my contact to my gmail account. There seems to be a problem with cookies, but I don't understand what to do
Do I delete all cookies? I don't understand and I'm scared to try anything in case I loose important data.
Your contact list doesnt stay saved in your computer, try access your gmail account in other browser, if this happens too the problem maybe isnt with firefox

* If the menu bar is hidden then press F10 or hold down the Alt key, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
* Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click on it to make that permanent. See [[Menu bar is missing]]).
* Make sure that you have the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window
* If you see a missing item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window onto one of the toolbars.
* If, in "View > Toolbars > Customize", you do not see that item then click the "Restore Default Set" button

my iPhone 4 will no longer charge. It is also not recognised in iTunes. There seems to be a problem with the connector slot. I've tried other cables and other computers/plugs but the connection is not being made. Any suggestions?

I just dowloaded Maverick and lost the Apps I purchased: Notes and Bejeweled 3. How do I get them back without paying for them again?

I will just buy Bejeweled again. I guess the price of downloading maverick was losing my beloved video game. I upgraded from the old Mozilla browser to Firefox and all my bookmarks disappeared. Now what do I do? Also does Firefox have an email system? I'm using Mozilla but don't want to lose all my emails.....thanks
Do you mean you were using Mozilla Seamonkey - or something even older - sometimes called 'The Mozilla Suite'?

I've just downloaded and istalled Firefox. IT WILL NOT WORK. No matter what site I try open up (included Firefox's OWN support site) I get the following:

The only reason I installed this is because an academic site I need to use requires Firefox ( my IE 10 is not compatible apparently). This is the MOST useless browser I have ever tried! nuff said. Why does firefox not recognize the app? why is it asking me to save download (zip file?) instead of just downloading file when prompted? I'm tempted to just give up and let google chrome keep spying on me. At least that service didn't literally start giving me headaches the minute I downloaded
There's two versions of Flash. The ActiveX version for IE and the Plugin version for most other browsers. Firefox needs the Plugin version.

I just downloaded the new IOS5 to my phone and now have no contacts. I have tried turning contacts on in icloud, adding Sim contacts. On my itunes it shows no contacts for some reason. I did download the new version of Itunes before this but have Backed up my iphone numerous times before but nothing now ?
They will be in whatever program/service you have chosen to sync. Sync them back.
If you have failed to sync your contacts regularly, then they are likely gone -

I got on a site & wanted to download music but it said I had to have one of three downloads. One was Firefox so I downloaded it. I don`t want Firefox (it did not help me anyway). I want to go back to Internet via Explorer on my Start menu. You may gather I am NOT good at this computor stuff!
Go to Add/Remove Programs in Windows Control Panel and then scroll down to '''Mozilla Firefox''' and click '''Remove'''. Make sure you checkmark the box which enables you to remove your bookmarks, customizations etc.
Then reboot and go to C:\Program Files and delete the folder called "'''Mozilla Firefox'''".

Did you find the Firefox Profile Folder in the Time Machine?
