I fear you will not get much more help here. This forum is called Enterprise Deployment (Acrobat and Reader) and you don't seem to have any problems with Acrobat or Reader.
(Reader, by the way, just reads PDF files, and has nothing to do with installing anything else).
Each forum has a different set of experts, so I recommend the Photoshop forum here http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop
Tip: please include full syptoms, especially error messages. "Won't even open a file" doesn't give much even for the experts to go on.

If you can't enter the passcode then you have to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod via iTunes. For ecovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
Note that this requires using the sleep/wake button. If you are not successful then there is nothing else that I know you can do.

HELP! I have downloaded iphoto '11 but it won't even open!!

I have just recently had to clear my laptop completely and I originally had iphoto 2008 but thats gone so I have downloaded iphoto 2011 but it won't even open! It keeps saying to reset my laptop but thats not working and I have done it 3 times...

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

What does the crash report say about the name of the faulting module?
Yes, crashes like that are usually due to the video card driver. (though I was guessing from the original description that the image was just not drawing)
Have you tried disabling GPU drawing in Photoshop before opening a document?
Have you updated your video card driver from the GPU maker's website?

I have a new laptop and am trying to figure out where on Adobe.com I go to download my previously purchased Lightroom 5.7 version onto my new laptop. I can only find links to purchase a new version, a trial version or to join Cloud. I have the product license number from my purchase.

The latest ACR for CS6 is ARC 8.7.1 and ist get installed into a common folder that both Photoshop and Bridge use. CS6 perpetual Windows should be at level 13.0.1.3 and Mac at level 13.0.6 where subscription CS6 version should be at version 13.1.2. You may have installed ACR 8.2 into Photoshop CS6 Plug-in folder that is not the correct location.. Where it goes depends on your OS Platform and level.

I purchased "Pages" from the iTunes, downloaded it and the app shows up on my computer - PC Windows XP - but I can't install it on my iPad. Have tried syncing it several times, says sync is complete, but it does not appear on my iPad.

If you use Mac Mail and Microsoft Outlook mail like I do, you could switch from one to the other mail program for send photos.
iPhoto >> Preferences >> General tab >> E-mail foto's via >> select Microsoft Outlook.
Click a photo in iPhoto >> Share >> select E-mail … >> Microsoft Outlook will be launch.
