I just downloaded the new version of I tunes on my old window computer before I did this when I connected my classic ipod the device would show up
in a window on the left under devices and I would just drag playlist over from my library but now device is in the right hand corner and I can't figure out
how to drag music over. Help please

I rented a movie teh other night and started the download. It was taking a while so I went to bed. In the morning there was an error message and the movie did not download. I did nothing as I figured I would just try agian another day. A few days later I received my receipt by email. I had been charged even though I never got access to the movie. I tried to access the download again, but can not figure out gow to download the movie agian without being chraged. PLease help.
You could try the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option. If that doesn't start it downloading then you will need to contact iTunes support (rentals are a one-time only download, so they will need to add it back into your queue).
Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film, click the arrow to the left of it and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
I have a new iPhone 5 with company software from where I work. I backed my old phone before I got this one on iCloud but I cannot figure out to get my stuff onto this phone without erasing the content that was just put on it.
The only way to do so is to start over: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You won't be able to use the backup of your old phone unless you are setting up a new phone.

I can't figure out how to get music from iTunes to the iPhone 4S.
I've tried to sync music, but it says there are zero songs. This new set-up of iTunes is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and doesn't have the side menu to the left where you could click the device that it used to. I have the computer authorized and all that. I even set up home sharing.

When I open Safari, Finder or Google Chrome (my default browser) they do not displayanywhere on my iMac.
Tthey are minimized somewhere but how can to maximize them.
I can't say for sure this is related to Mavericks but the problem began shortly after dowloading Mavs.

When I left click Safari or Google Chrome in my Dock, neither expands. When I then right click wither one in teh Dock, a dialog box pops up which gives me the option to close them, which implies that they are in fact open.
In other words, when I left click on Safari or Chrome in my Dock, nothing visibly changes on my Desktop. Indeed, neither Safari not Chrome are listed as the active window in the menu bar. If I do the same with Finder, at least Finder shows up as active in the menu bar but that's all. Finder itsef is not accessible and so I cannot use it.
On the other hand, I ahve no problem opening up Paralles 9 for Mac to access Windows/Explorer which is what I have done to send this note to teh Apple Communities Forum. Nor do I ahve a problem opening up any of my other programssuch as Office for Mac, etc.
I suspect this may be mavericks related but can't say for sure.

I am new to IPods. I have a Classic 160GB and I can't figure out how to load Music Videos to iTunes or the IPod. I have had no problem loading my CD's to iTunes and to the IPod, but no go on the Music Videos.

Ok. Here's the results. I tried all the music videos I wanted to put onto the IPod and the results were:
I was able to get good results with 2 full length music videos and 2 video singles(only 2 videos on each disk). For a total of 4 videos.
I was able to encode 5 full length music videos, but the results were distorted (video and audio).
I was unable to copy 2 full length videos due to error failures. 1 was a "No Title Found" error, the other was a "NAVDAT" error.
I guess my next question is: Do you know of any other program(s) that I might try, to see if I can get good results with the videos that didn't work with Handbrake?

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

I have an iphone 4 and downloaded my first movie (hd) onto my PC (windows 7) I have not been able to figure out how to transfer the move to my iphone. The movie is in a new tab called "rented" not under the "movie" tab. All of the support I have read talks about the movie being in the "movies" tab. I cannot use the "move" function or the "transfer" function because they are not available. Is this an issue because I just updated to the newest software?
In order to download to your phone over the air, you need to be connected to WiFi.
It's possible the Internet connection through Verizon is not stable enough for the downlaod to begin (it is a very large download).
You might want to head over to Starbucks with your laptop for the afternoon and see if you can download it over their WiFi. -

You can directly download 10.5.2 from Apple from here. And if that doesn't work (it didn't when I just tried it -- something wrong with the apple itunes site I assume) download it through macupdate from here. -
I can't sign on to icloud. It says I need an icloud account. I click the help option it send me back to the same page. I reinstall it nothing.

I just got a new iphone 5,and when I try to update my phone, and install the aps that I've already purchased onto it, it says I don't have permission to do so.
Contact your carrier & have them reset your Voicemail. Most carriers require such, so after they reset it, just set it up again.
