I just got a new phone and I'm trying to use iMessage but its not taking my apple id password
i have my new phone and it has all my pictures an contacts and I've been putting in my password but the only apps that arnt taking it is my FaceTime and imessage
Especially check Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure your time zone is set correctly.

The Apps have gone onto the 4 but its making me re-start everything from level 1?

Normally when you save a game in iPhone, the memory used is in the flash memory of the device. Those that can be ported over, reason is due to the data being saved over the air and when you logged in on a new device, it recognises you via the userID.
Maybe you can try to backup your iPhone 3, and restore the file onto your iPhone 4. Not too sure if that would brick your phone though. -
I just got an iPhone 4 and I'm trying to use it on the t mobile network. The thing is, I've tried restoring the phone so I could use it. I haven't tried my sim on other phones yet. But I will try to see if it works. The iPhone is supposedly factory unlocked btw. Anyways, when I put in my tmobile sim, it searches for the service, but it always ends up saying NO SERVICE. I checked that my network says that the "phone not allowed". So I don't have 3G on this phone I presume. I heard that you need 3G to have service is that correct? But how do I resolve it? The iPhone does know that my phone carrier is tmobile. It just says no service. And I've tried restoring it three times and turning it off and on and it won't work. I don't have a data plan for tmobile tw! Hopefully someone can help! Thank you so much in advance!
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. Congratulations on your new Mac! It sounds like your purchased songs are not playing completely after you downloaded them. I recommend to following steps for an issue like this:
Symptoms
Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.
Resolution
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
Download your previously purchased song from this list.

I got a new iPhone and i am trying to buy songs but when I go to buy a song on iTunes it says I have to answer my security questions and I don't remember the answers. I pressed where it says for them to email you your answers but I haven't gotten an email. Is there another way to change or get the answers for the security questions?
If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

so i got a new phone and i am using my icloud on tht new phone but itb says i have two devices on my icloud. i am trying to delete my old phone on my i cloud but it wont let me. i got an email saying that because in deleted my icloud from my old phone now i no one can delete it from the icloud account or try and find it. so *** do i do. and hown i can i delete my storage so its not to full because now my stuff cant be backed up
Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Manage Storage. Select the phone that doesn't say "this phone" then scroll down and choose Delete Backup

What I do when I get a new computer is the first time I turn it on is use Setup Assistant. Once Setup Assistant has finished doing its thing, the new computer is just like my old one.

If you are using Windows, make sure you got iTune version 10.6.3
