I'm wanting to sync my ipod to itunes without losing any info that is currently on it. An internet search has shown differnt programs but they are not free.Can anyone help me?
For the music, you can transfer your music from your old computer to your new computer using an external HHD, once the music are in your new computer, open up itunes and add your music folder to the itunes library, do the same with videos.
For your apps, log into your your itunes account and there you will find your "purchased" apps list. Cilck on purchase to see the list and download them again back to your computer.

the simplest way, assuming all your media files are in the default location, would be to connect the two Macs with a firewire cable, boot the source Mac in Target Disk Mode, and copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/yourname/music on the source to <MacintoshHD>/users/yourname/music on the target (overwriting the iTunes folder in place there).

The easiest method is to setup an iCloud account, turn on Contacts syncing in Settings > iCloud on both devices, and the Contacts from the iPhone will sync to the iPad.

Got a bit of a dilemma here... I had all my music backed up on my laptop and I usually transferred files using iTunes from there but it got a virus so I had wipe the whole thing out. Anything that was purchased can be transferred to your new iTunes library by following the steps in the article below. You can also look at your purchased history and download the tracks to your computer.

Syncing an iDevice to a computer does not remove content from the computer.
Syncing an iDevice to a computer that it does not normally sync with will remove the content from that device.
If the media was acquired with a different Apple ID it is in no way linked to your Apple ID. -
My old computer had itunes and downloaded songs that I put on my ipod. Well, my old computer got replaced years ago without saving hard drive info or passwords and my iPod burnt out years ago and will not activate. I now have a new computer and iPod and I have an iTunes account on my iPhone5. How can I get access to my old songs on new computer? Are they lost for good? How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. I have two questions:
1. When I first got an iPod touch (4th gen) I synced it (to start it up) on my mom's Mac Laptop. I finally got my own laptop and tryed to sync my music and info from my iPod to my ASUS laptop, but it said that the only way to do that was to clear all of my info. (I kinda forgot what it said my options were) but I am not sure what to do now. I want all of my stuff from my iPod on my laptop, but I don't want it to delete all of my stuff. Do I need to use a hard drive? Or download it another way other than syncing it?

- For the album, right click on the songs and click on Get Info. Go to the Info tab. Change the track or disk number of the one song so it fits in with that of the other songs. -
