I just purchased a Mac pro book and I can not use my Clear broadband. A message pops up saying the operating system is running in 64 bit mode . Please switch to 32 bit mode. How do I swich the mode and will this cause problems. There must be other MacBook Pro operators that use Clear broadband as their internet connection.

Never heard of them but I Googled and took a look. Seems as if they offer either a USB modem or a 'home' modem - which do you have?
If you're on a newer Mac (and I see that you are) and running Mountain Lion you cannot start up in a 32-bit kernel. I'm not sure if thise is directly related to the question, actually, as some applications will actually let you 'open' in 32-bit mode. If you're using an application that runs the modem software, try selecting it and doing a "Get Info" (Command-I) from the Finder and see if there is an option to "Open in 32-bit mode".

The camera must be plugged in to AC power (not batteries only). And generally, the camera should be set to Play mode, not recording mode.

Ahhh, well you never mentioned that before. You need to contact your friend from whom you purchased the computer. He/She should have any and all install discs for any third-party software included as well as for OS X and the original pre-installed software.
Apple will gladly sell you replacements for any discs that did come with the computer originally, but they will not do anything for you because you purchased the computer used. If it's in warranty still, then you can get any warranty covered things taken care of through AppleCare:

No. You need a DVD authoring application such as iDVD.
New machine purcahses do not include iDVD and iWeb as part of the iLife '11 suite of apps but that doesn't mean they don't work in Lion.
Apple no longer sells iDVD or iWeb so you'll have to search for a reseller of the iLife '09 or '11 DVD or use a more expensive authoring app like Toast.

To be able to use documents at iCloud.com, you need at least one iOS device that uses the same account with at least one of the iWork apps installed.

I just bought a new Macbook Pro and under current operating system, it list OS X 10.9.1 as my current system and says I can update to Mavericks. Isn't 10.9.1 the newest OS for Mac? This is my first Mac and I'm not sure about the way it lists the OS systems in the "about this computer tab". I tried to update to Mavericks and it will not allow me to update, despite meeting all of the above requirements. Can anyone help me?

It seems that I have to download the HTC software for the phone called HTC Sync Manager, but app won't open on the Macbook Pro because it's "unidentified." PLEASE HELP! OK Folks i believe i have actually found the solution. I know i am a bit slow but i only got my New HTC One 32gb today (it was free from Three). Like you it would not connect to my Mac or work PC. So here is the way i got it to work. Download Android File Transfer if you have not already got it. Make sure you have USB Debugging setup etc. Now you need to download a free programme called SyncMate. I used SyncMate 4 because i am running OS X 10.7. There is a paid for version of Syncmate but we just want the free version as it seems to contain some drivers that will make Android File Transfer see you phone. Download SyncMate, install it as per usual and hey presto when you plug in your HTC One Android File Transfer should open automatically...BINGO!!! It worked for me which i am really chuffed about as i was just about to ring Three back up to get the phone returned. Let me know if it worked for you too :-)
