Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

Nope.
Apple recomends after each purchase to BACKUP your purchases. If purchased on a mobile device (iPhone, iTouch, iPod, etc) you should transfer your purchases to a computer running iTunes as soon as possible to back them up.
If you don't have your items in your library, I'm afraid there is little recourse.

That could be the reason they were selling the old macBook Pro. Does the network utility even see any WIFI networks? If it doesn't, and you know they exist, something with the WIFI might have failed. Can you connect using the wired ethernet port?
You might have to take it to an Apple store or an AASP for a checkup.

I gave my macbook pro 13' to this guy to fix it and he is taking more than 3 weeks to repair it, I just wanna know if its appropriate to take so long to fix the problem that he claims

So I sent my macbook pro to a nearby macbook repair person because it was too slow, everytime I click on something, the rainbow wheel will appear and it will take like a few minutes to open up a window. Also, my videos were stucked whenever I played them in VLC etc but when I use my external hard disk to play the video, it will be okay. So I sent to this guy explaining all the problems I am facing with my macbook, then he claimed that he could do it within a day as its probably just the hard disk problem or if its the processor(2days). And now its been 3 weeks and he is still fixing my macbook, he told me it was the bios and he needs sometime to do it as he needs to be very careful. I dont know if I should believe him, its been more than 3 weeks now? I just wanted to know if what he is saying is logic and if it is, does it really take so long to fix the bios?
p/s I've increased the RAM to 8gb 1600Mhz Ddr3 recently thinking that was the problem but obviously it didnt fix my problem Help me out

Mac's do not have a BIOS to flash. Get your Mac back before this situation gets worse. Then take it to an Apple Store. You will have to pay.

I just got my first MB Pro about 3 months ago and it was the ebst decision ever to spend money in thius way!!! Really!!!
I have to work and create maps, so I decided to get a 27" Thunderbolt Display in addition to the 13" MB Pro.
It all works very fine and working is a lot of fun, but.....
My girlfriend has an older laptop, not Thunderbolt compatible, and when I am off to work she can't use the Display, and when I am at home I am working on it.
So here is the question:
Should I get a Mac Mini for her to connect it to the display?
Or should we save some money and get an iMac and connect it?
Or should I just buy her a MacbookAir?
She is not really using her laptop this much, but I think that would change if she could use the Thunderbolt Display...
What do you think would be the best????

I know it is difficult to answer those questions...
But that's what keeps me awake at night for the last few days!
If I would have the money I would get an iMac and an Airbook... but unfortunately...
I would just like to see her smile again when she is using a computer for work and not just for iTunes! And I know she wpuld love it.
She also wants to get an Excel course... but will they have computers there or will she need her own!?!?!
Stuff like that makes me think...
Right now I would go for a Macbook Air. We will see what happens tomorrow ;-)

Another way for validating your users is by having a login screen and send the login information to your jsp.

Your iPad is covered by the normal warranty for one year. If you have AppleCare that extends the coverage. If you feel there is a problem with your wifi reception visit an Apple store with your iPad for a consultation. Be sure to make an appointment before you go.

The iPhone backup is not stored on your iPad. The iPad and iPhone backups are stored on iCloud which are what you are seeing in Settings/iCloud/Storage & BackUp. If your delete these from any device you are deleting them from iCloud freeing up iCloud storage, not the iPad's storage.

Just installed the latest Yosemite update and though I hv wifi connectivity, I can't connect to the App store or Dropbox. Any solutions?

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.
