I killed my MBA. i want to remove the SSD and remove the data. Is there an adapter for the drive?

subject pretty much sums it up.
i need to remove the drive and pull the data from it using another pc. is there an adapter, usb or otherwise, that fits that drive?
Is it microsata?
My mba is late 2011.

Very likely not, as the iPhoto's can be used for something else.
More like it took a copy, or it's referencing that spot on the drive in the editable files and most likely made a copy to create a new permanent export file.
Sample one picture and a iMovie file and see what happens.

Look under system preferences on the mac at what is be controlled? Look at Mail, Contacts, Calendars. How many accounts are managing contacts? Just the cloud? the cloud and gmail? or cloud, gmail, yahoo, and exchange? If you have more than one contact account, then you will have different contact lists, if John Smith shows up in more than one of your contact lists, you will have multiple entries.
Pick a contact list that is your master, (I use iCloud), only turn on contact syncing for it. The same for your phone. Spend some time on the iCloud webset (www.icloud.com) and work on your contact list there. Clean it up, remove duplicates, etc...Changes will auto sync back to all your devices. Life gets much simplier.
Just remember, if you sync different contacts lists and a large number of people appear in your different lists, then they will appear as duplicates.

I've reread your question several times and am not sure I understand it.
Are you trying to basically start over, as if you just took your iPhone out of the box? If so, do:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings

I bought a VGA Adapter for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod as I want to be able to connect with any TV, monitor or projector for lectures, not just an HD device.. Does the iPad and iBooks only sync in iCloud for purchases as I appear to be doing something wrong. Either projects or events. You can make a compound clip in a event used to hold favorites. Add a couple of generator items to it and apply the custom transition. You can copy and paste from the compound clip to any project. Hold everything you want into the one event. It probably won't ever get very big, and the render files can be dumped at any time. You can simply move the event from machine to machine or place to place as needed, just as you can other custom content, like keyboard layouts and custom color presets.

You will need to redownload it - rentals expire and are deleted, either 30 days after renting it, or 48 hours (24 hours if you are in the US) after starting to watch it, whichever is the soonest.
