"Real improvement" is relative, depending on what you're doing. If you are RAM-limited, then yes, it will make a difference.
Check in Utilities > Activity Monitor > System Memory tab. If the sum of Free and Inactive memory is low, then you are using most of your RAM, and more will help. (Note: it's the sum of Free and Inactive that matters - it's fine if Free is low.) If your available RAM is not low, adding more won't benefit you that much.
A single 2 GB stick is pretty cheap now, though.

Did you do a backup of iOS before you changed iTunes?
I would do a reverse and go back to the old iTunes, then update your iPhone and then update iTunes.
Version 4.x of iOS has been out forever, update, update, update.....it is very important to maintain compatability in hardware & software devices/pcs'/Macs.

My Macbook Pro 2010 is very slow, I know its old but can I speed it up?

I have had my Macbook pro for nearly 4 years so I expect it to have slowed down, but now its getting ridiculous and difficult to use. Does anyone have any ideas on how to speed it up? I have removed all my larger files and the most memory is now take up by my music on I tunes. Aside from buying a new one which I would love to do but cant afford can anyone offer any suggestions to speed it up?

My machine is working better than ever since I installed an 8Gb RAM Upgrade and Upgraded the HDD only yesterday. My drive had developed an error and was causing it to be very sluggish. I posted this somewhere else a little earlier:

No, there is not iTunes for Android. Actually, even if you had an iPad, there would be no way to sync an old iPod with it. You need a computer (either a Mac or Windows PC) running iTunes to sync an iPod mini.

We are getting monthly data from source , but we need maintain that data in ODS according to Weeks.
Example:

I have split the monthly records in to Weekly record when loading the data in to BW. This is done by selecting Return Table option in the update rules of a Key figure and a writing a start routine..........

Essentially creatig a cover of the song with her voice that can later be tweaked in the Gband program. I know this is kereokeeish, but she is 6 and im brand new at Gband and have no studio backround. search for standard MIDI files, they can simply be dropped into the GB timeline and you can then assign instruments to each track.

On a Windows 7 system, that suggests some application has stashed old QuickTime version 6.x componentry down in the system folders on the PC. (The ACE Mega Codec Pack and WinAVI Converter are the usual suspects with that.)
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
*If you have a 32-bit version of Windows,* open the "System32" folder.
*If you have a 64-bit version of Windows,* open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

There is no download for 10.4.x or 10.5.x, there is a very slim chance you can get 10.5 by calling Apple, but usually you can only get it on eBay & such.

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown/shown off, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police

you will be ok updating to the new software but there will be some trade off. i have 3 macbooks 2006 that are all running the latest versions.
some of the trade off are
1-2 less of battery life
slow wake ups from sleep
slower start up time about 30-40 seconds longer then what you have now
the operating system will use high % of your processer while idealing
these are not the things you want to hear about a new os compared to the old one but this is how it is even with a new macbook pro. but it's not the end of the world. just make sure you have at least more then 2GB of ram and have a good harddrive and you will be ok.
