Hello. Yesterday i was using my iphone and it froze on me. i was using my 3g as wifi and also the time wouldnt display at the top. i locked it and now it wont turn on. i pressed all of the buttons a few times and when i got home, i plugged it in. i can hear the ding indicating that im charging it, but the screen still wont turn on. please help, i really dont want to reset it either!!

Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

I am current in Sotheby's Africa and trying to FaceTime my daughter who also has the same ipad as me. My son in law also has the ipad. Despite using my daughters email, I cannot get through to her or my son in law. What model MBP and which version of OS X? Sounds as if the hard drive may have failed. If you have an installation disc, try booting with it. If your machine came with Lion or Mountain Lion, try booting to the Recovery partition - Command and R keys held down while booting.

You seem to be new to this software, so I highly recommend that you take some time to learn it using some great tutorials available online - it will pay off to invest the time, if you follow through, for example the great (and free) introductory tutorial at izzyvideo.com.
This is an amazing piece of software, and you'll have a lot to learn, but it's well worth it.

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

The files details are the same as a file that will play.

I've been told this happened to somebody else last week, but didn't get a resaon why.
Any clues as to why this is happening? I suspect it's a codec issue of some sort
