I lost my iphone 4 and switched on the lost mode, now i got back with police since i found it's location.
the problem is i can't find a way to turn it one or make it come online again so that i can turn of the lost mode.
it tells me that it's on but all i get is a black screen with nothing to see on it. it also keep making sounds like peeping but nothing more.
any idea how can turn it on again and fininsh this problem? thanks
Stop Lost Mode or change your contact info
Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud). If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
Click All Devices, then select the device that’s in Lost Mode.
Click Lost Mode, then change the information or click Stop Lost Mode.

So I lost my iphone4 and instead of getting a new one, i got a Droid instead. My only question is - is there any way to retrieve my contacts and other data from itunes and put it on my new phone?
I got the iphone4 rescently as well and plugged it into my computer and it got all of my contacts and pictures loaded on from my old iphone. Also I havn't used icloud to backup, only itunes. So im pretty sure somewhere on my computer there is a folder of somesort from itunes that is holding my contacts? I hope so!! Any one have an idea of what to do?
( I dont know what the iOS was but it was the most rescent up to date as of last weekend)Im not too computer savy but my last iphone had to be restarted/resetup. I was told to plug my iphone in and backup all data on itunes or icloud - then I reset all data on my phone - plugged it back it and clicked on "restore backup" or something along those lines and I had all of my contacts and pictures back on my phone. So it seems like my info is being stored somewhere on my computer.
So what your saying is that my contacts are stored on my computer but not through itunes? Hmm maybe I need to look further into my computer programs and documents then and i should find my contacts?

i think things would have been better without this icloud mess......
someone help me like it again.
1). i have more than 1 account set up with icloud. so i deleted 1 account from the settings on my iphone to try and switch to the other account and everything became a huge mess. (on my iphone i LOST some of my contacts, all of my reminders are gone, and nothing is showing up on the ical on my iphone, and only some notes are showing).......
2). everything is still shown on my macbook pro.... but when i tired to go and sync it..... nothing is transfering to my phone........
3). when i log into the 2 icloud accounts i have with icloud(.com) nothing is showing up in there also......
whats is going on..... this is a huge mess for me. i want to go back the way is was like 1-2 years ago. when you can just sync things from the computer to the phone and not have to go through icloud....... ive been struggling with icloud but today just me hate it to the max.
ANY HELP ON HOW I CAN FIX ALL OF THIS.....

im not sure what you mean by you second statement. when i open those application on my macbook its on my macbook but when i sign into icloud. i have those option selected.
maybe my problem is im using the wrong ID...... lol.

THAT fellow actually off my phone at my last location.I dont have sim on that i phone.I am trying to trace the iphone through find my phone but it showing offline. You can sell it on eBay or Craigslist and buy a new one. I had an AT&T iPhone 4S and switched to virgin. I bought the iPhone 4 and sold my 4s for $350 on Craigslist. It cost me about $100 for the new phone after all was said and done.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting.

Got my daughter an ipod touch 4th and it wont dothe back up from itunes? I bought my other daughter an iphone 4 and its doing the same thing. Both are locking up itunes too. I tried the deactivate/activate that was suggested it still didnt work. I took the ipod to a friend and hooked to her laptop and it synced fine but now trying to sync on mine it wont do it and it has the backup encryption on but no passwords will unlock it. itunes will reccognize the ipod and the iphone but while going thru the sync steps they both get to step 2 then lock up itunes and then says its syncing but will never stop. I am very frustrated and am regretting buying products from Apple.
It seems to be a glitch or bug. Its been officially acknowledged and addressed by Apple. There is no resolution other than waiting for a few days. The Kb article by Apple states it will fix itself on January 7.
