I'm getting an error. Do you know what this means?

Hi Everyone.
I'm getting the following error when i run my code. it still runs and seems to function properly but i'd like to know what it means.
If anyone could help i'd be very greatful.

Something is deprecated, when the Java people decide that things should no longer be done that way anymore.
i.e. if they found a much better way of doing things, they'll deprecate the old method to encourage people to use the new one.
methods are deprecated for a variety of reasons, there may be problems with one approach etc.
Some of the Java tutorials use deprecated methods, which can make things interesting.
If you look up the API, it should tell you what classes you should use now.
