I'm getting the message, "Your Apple ID has been disabled," when I try to make a purchase. I reset my password and updated it in my account, but it still won't let me purchase anything. How can I fix this?

I get the message "Your Apple ID has been disabled." when I try to download to my iPad a subscription paid magazine (The Economist) from the App Store. For what it's worth, the same Apple ID was accepted when I joined this Discussion Group. What must I do to get my ID enabled? I have been unable to find any explicit instructions online. Thank you.

I have 2 ipad 2s. On the newer one I could log in and update to IOS 5 withno problem. On the older one I get the message "Your Apple ID has been disabled." No other explanation. Why can I log in on one ipad and I'm disabled on the other?
Well, I spoke too soon. Yes, I'm using the same account on both iPads, but I just changed my password for the umpteenth time and now I get the disabled message on both iPads. Just yesterday I was able to upgrade one to IOS 5 but got the error message on the other. I'm getting more confused by the minute.

HT204266 When I try to download an app I get the message, your Apple ID has been disabled
I just acitvated my iPhone 4 and tried to download an app. I get the message Your Apple ID has been disabled.
If your account works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone then try logging out of your account on the iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
Otherwise, depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -
I have done everything advised by the support page but still get the message " you apple id has been disabled". I also can't get a "person" on any apple phone numbers, just a "machine person" sending me back to the support page. Please help!
Try "resetting" your Apple ID password using the iforgot link here > Apple ID: "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" alert appears

hai friendz,
i try to download application fro apps sore , but i am getting 1 error getting error message "your apple id has been disabled"..
plz help me...Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch then try logging out of your account on the device by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it -
