I'm going through **** here, using a spanish key board, to lay down fonts, using FCP X, each and every time the "accent" mark is need over a letter, FCP X shuts down...this is the most feckless system I've worked with in years!!

Each and every time I need to use an accent above a letter...FCP X shuts down. What is going on with this system? The most feckless piece of soffware ever!! Ready to pull out the old tower G4 and cut on the FCP 7...
Okay will do...using the Canadian English Version...
Also, as you well know in Spanish, the "accent" does "slice" either way. Over vowels, such as "a" and "o"...

Using iweb enchancer and massreplacit each and every time?
I use both these tools and they work..
However, am I correct than I must run both _each time I add something to my blog_? Each and every time?
For instance I have some html code in the head portion; that makes my css buttons work. So each time I add a blog entry I have to run massreplacit or iwebenchancer (or both in my case) so my buttons won't fall apart. Hmm quite time consuming. MaybeI'll construct an automater script...Yes, you've got that right....everytime that either you or iWeb decides that a page must be republished, your html changes to that page will be overwritten. There are many strategies to managing this, but they basically boil down to repeating the html replacement procedure. You are already using iWebEnhancer and MassReplaceIt...some of the best tools for this purpose. Each app should take no more than a few seconds to do their magic after you publish. I suppose it is possible to write an Automator script to launch the two programs for you. Haha.

i have now installed too many tabs 1.3.3 to see if that will fix problem.
but yes each and every time i use firefox, not googlechrome, or ie or opera but only firefox 4 and having used tabs mix plus before i never had a problem.
but now with firefox beta and now the full release, the issue is still arising. evrytime i open firefox i close my eyes and wait for it to load... and load... when it does open, i open my eyes and lo and behold my tabs are gone.
thats it please help guys, i love firefox for many reasons i dont want to use opera.

You can't.
All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the Photo Library. The photos in the album or albums below are not duplicates - they include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. This way you can view the photos in a particular album only by selecting the album, or you can view all photos available in all albums by selecting Photo Library.
Just as with an iTunes playlist. A song cannot be in an iTunes playlist unless the song is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song. Remove the main iTunes library or the songs from the main iTunes library that are in a playlist and the songs will no longer be in the playlist either. This way you can listen to the songs in the playlist only by selecting the playlist, or all songs in your entire iTunes library by selecting Music under Library in the iTunes source list.
The same with iPhoto on a Mac. A photo cannot be in an in iPhoto Event or Album unless the photo is in the main iPhoto library. Placing a photo in an Event or Album does not duplicate the photo. This way you can view the photos in an iPhoto Event or Album only by selecting the Event or Album, or all photos in all Events or Albums. -

No, there is not setting for a default printer.The system scans for available airprint printers each time you print. -
i do not know what has happened but now the computer is asking for permission for firefox to make changes to the hard drive every time i open the browser. I have not changed my settings so what can i do to fix it? I have tried it with 3.6.3 and 3.6.4 same problem

Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected.
You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
If you can't make the changes then you need to start Windows Explorer as Administrator. -
I build a lot of executables using Application Builder under LabVIEW and in every one I build, I don't want the top level vi to take off and run when I open the executable. Currently, I edit each .exe I build within Application Builder and change the option of "run when opened" from Yes to No for the top level vi. All the other subvi's are already set to No. It would seem as though there should be some way to "turn this off" if you will so the top level vi is not always set to "run when opened" by default within Application Builder. Is there such a solution that anyone knows of?? Any help would be apprec
iated... thanks...Indeed the Application builder forces "run when opened" to true for top levels VIs. If you don't want your VI to make any real work when the application starts, you should simply put a do-nothing loop in the beginning of the VI that will loop until the user presses a boolean. It will be more intuitive for users to press a Run button on the FP than clicking on the white Run arrow in the bar.

There is no configuration of a MBP that will satisfy the needs of all users. The variables are too many for the tasks that are required for the MBP to perform.
If cost is no object, the fastest CPU is a given as well as RAM. Needs for same may be few and not often if ever used, but certainly will do no harm,
Storage is an issue of a HDD with greater capacity compared with the speed offered by SSD with lesser capacity.
Size can be important. The convenience of portability of a 13" MBP with the larger and heavier 15" and 17' MBPs.
In the final analysis, you have to make these decisions.

Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

Make the playlist on both your computer and your iPod. This should make it so nothing will be deleted. If you have the 3rd Gen iPod Touch, you could update to iOS 5 and get iCloud. This will make your iPod "insta-sync" when you do anything on it.

Many people have posted frantic questions about problems downgrading from FF4 to FF3.6, because of incompatabilities with their Addons. I use a LOT of addons. I don't want to check each and every one of them manually for compatability. (And then repeat that in a few weeks, to see what's changed....)
