Thanks for the help. I upgraded the firmware (which was the same version as the firmware that was on the WRT300 already) and reset the router but the problem remains.
I'm not sure what you mean by "re-configure" the router since the router was working fine on my home PCs after the upgrade without having to re-configure anything. Are you saying I should set up a new WiFi network with new settings after the upgrade and use that instead?

There is no solution. This is determined/controlled by FaceBook.

My iPod had full charge and suddenly cut out, now it wont turn on, iTunes wont connect either, any advice?

Hey everyone, right, i was recently using my iPod touch 4th gen (which had been on charge for about 5 hours), i took a quick 2 minute break and got back to find the screen blank, now the iPod wont turn on. I have tried connecting it to iTunes but it doesnt even connect. I havent got any jailbreaking software on there although i havent updated the software in a while. Any advice?

- See if resetting the iPod will eithr bring it to life or asllow itunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod via iTunes
- Next see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow it to be restored.. For recovry mode see:

- Last, make an appontment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem.

Yes. It's normal. Still photos sync via PhotoStream. Videos, regardless of how short they are, do not.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Where did you get the device? Is it possible that it has an IT policy on the device blocking Facebook and/or Facebook options? Look in Options >Security Options >General Settings (actual menu paths vary with OS version) and see if there is any reference to IT policy.

I have starter 3.0 and cannot share pictures via outlook express. Evidently that version is discontinued and my outlook express does not support the MAPI that is required. I think the only solution is to upgrade to photoshop
elements or to send photos as attachment to your e-mail. I have the same problem using Zoom Browser EX sending photos via internet. I have signed out then back into the cloud. I have comfirmed location of the photostream folder. I have have even restored settings on my phone. any ideas on what I can do to get it working again? or do I have to accept defect, and manually save my photos?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your phone doesn't do mirroring, only the 4S will do that. It only does basic AirPlay.
Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues).

If your phone is defective (aside from the accidental damage) Apple will fix or replace the phone. You saud you purchased the phone in January so it is still under warranty.

Validate your fonts using Font Book.
How to use Font Book to validate fonts
1. Open Font Book in your Applications folder.
2. Select All Fonts.
3. Now click in the list of fonts and select all (Edit > Select All).
4. Under File in the Menu bar, select Validate Fonts.
5. Duplicate fonts will be marked with either the yellow badge or a black dot.
6. Select to remove or delete duplicates.*
7. Delete font caches (how to)
8. Restart your computer
* Step 6 – remove or delete duplicates is where the tricky part comes in. You can select to let Font Book disable or remove duplicates, but I’ve found that it removes the one you have not been using rather than selecting the best option. Screensaver on Second Monitor says "Looking for pictures..."

My MBP just came back from getting a new logic board due to the video card packing it in. Now it won't show any pictures on my 2nd monitor with the screensaver. Either I disable the 2nd monitor and it's black, or it says "looking for pictures..." while the pictures appear on the MBP screen only. It used to run both screens with screensaver and was brilliant... And in the screensaver preferences, the test works fine. Weird...

Workaround: Create an alias of the photos folder in the iPhoto library. Some users have had success by creating an alias of the "originals" folder that's inside the iPhoto library. To do this, locate the iPhoto library (usually in the "Pictures" folder), and right click on it and select "Show Package Contents". Then select "originals" folder and create an alias for it and move the alias to another location outside of the library. After this, open the "Screen Saver" system preferences and select "Choose Folder" from the "Screen Savers" list, selecting the alias as the pictures folder. NOTE: This can also be done with a subfolder within the "originals" or any other folder of pictures within the iPhoto library.
