My indesign gives me an error when I try to embed google maps into it. I have CC.

Can you use a Bing map instead?
If not, you may have to go "old school" with this and create a new HTML page
and embed the code in that. Then link to the HTML page.

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

And if You change view - in main "window/view field" so that You see the box-plot structure.
No exclamation marks there either ?
and non at the front page ?
iDVD do not copy Your material - only points to where it is stored. So if on any external hard disks, USB-memories, CDs or DVDs are missing - assetts are broken.
Or if You changed location of any material or directed iPhoto or iTunes or GarageBand to a new Library - Then iMovie/iDVD also get's lost.

Try closing iTunes and reset your iPad. After the iPad starts up, try the download again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

2009 MacBook Pro eh? It looks like your hard drive has failed. Three years is pretty standard. Often, then only hint you have is catastrophic failure.
If you put the old hard drive into an external enclosure or similar device, you may still be able to migrate your data from it. Just because it won't boot doesn't mean you can't still read from it. Still, I wouldn't keep trying it. As long as you are buying a new hard drive, may as well get sometime to use with Time Machine too.

You have to download it through Purchased.
In iPhone, tap App Store > Update > Purchases > tab the icloud icon to download your app.
If app is over 50 MB, make sure your Wi-Fi is connected.
