I'm trying to follow the instructions on how to recover my profile if it's been lost , and I'm having lots of problems.
I updated to FF4 and nothing worked, so I downloaded 3.6 and installed it again. The instructions for recovering my profile tell me to find my profile, which I did, but then I'm supposed to copy my old profile to my new profile. How do I find my new profile? I only see one in the C:\documents and settings\blah blah blah\Firefox\Profiles folder, and it's apparently the default (f9wohz9p.default). It looks like my old profile. Where am I supposed to copy it? Can't I just set something so that the 'profile pointer' (a concept I just made up) just points to my old one? Or maybe fill in some parameter somewhere to say where the profile is? I used to think I was a computer expert; now I'm not so sure.
Thanks. The carrier is Verizon. My new phone has a Verizon Sim card. I can't find any evidence of that on the old one.

When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

Something may have gone amiss on your iPhone.
To attempt to correct this follow these steps:
Backup your iPhone using iTunes or iCloud.
Use iTunes to completely restore your iPhone as Factory new.
Monitor battery usage to see if it is normal. If not, you may have a hardware problem - if so, contact Apple support.
Restore your iPhone from your backup above.
Check battery usage to confirm that it is still normal. -
I had my iphone 4 locked to vodafone uk carrier. I connected the phone to itunes on my pc and tried to update the version to ios 6 through itunes. But it has been locked and asks for sim of previous carrier. how can i return to previous state?
You cannot return to previous state. The update re-locked the iPhone
to the original carrier. You must contact the original carrier to see if
they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Be advised that if your iPhone had previously been hacked/modified/
jailbroken to work with other than original carrier, it may be impossible
for the original carrier to unlock it properly. -
I have an iphone 4 and i'm having lot of problems:
_ my back camera is blurred although my front camera is fine and working normally
_ my biggest problem is that the screen is showing colored horizontal lines(as perhaps electrical problems). The phone did fell and I already changed its back and front but everything was normal until these problems appeared suddenly

Thxyou can try turning it off and on again, but i doubt that's gonna work, that sounds like more of a hardware issue. Your best bet may be to contact apple and seek service or replacement

I have to adjust my cookies and I found the instructions on your site. When I followed the instructions, I found that it seems for an older version and not the new one. The privacy settings are not the same as they once were and I can't make any adjustments to may cookies except to delete them.
What I could do was go to the 'Firefox' tab at the top left corner, go to history, Clear recent history, and so on. I can't make any adjustments to a single cookie. It's all or nothing.
Are there any other ways for me to make the adjustments?To restore the classic menu bar, you can do any of these:

I've followed the instructions to get calls via wifi but my settings are different. When I get to the point to access the call icon, then select wifi calling. My Samsung s5 is different, even after an update. Any ideas?

Only phones with EE branded firmware have access to VOWIFI so if you don't have that option you don't have EE firmware installed.
To confirm enter *#1234# and post the three sets of numbers.

I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

FF rarely prompts me to save my passwords and none appear to be saved for all of my accounts. When creating this acct to ask a question, I was prompted to save it, yet none of my existing accounts are saved and I have to retype them every time which is a PIA. The Password Manager account settings are set correctly. I do not want to change any of my PWs to see if I am prompted to save them. What else can I do?
You could try deleting the accounts on your phone (in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>tap the account>tap Delete Account at the bottom) and then adding them to see if that clears it up.

I have found with iTunes 11 that to move music over on my iPod it works very well and shows the 'on this iPod' button when you click on the device.
With my iPhone however, you can click on iPhone but then there is no 'on this iPhone' button or the add button?
Is it something to do with the settings on my phone?
Please help as Zi wish to transfer some music across.

My computer is running stupid and I am being told by my malware bytes that I don't have any problems and when I try to clear my cache none of the buttons work after show history. THEY are all useless and won't light up to use them. I also have not been able to set up zoho as my default email address for all default emails====windows won't let me even though i disabled windows email, I still can't set up zoho.com
When you use the private browsing feature, Firefox does not keep your history after your session. You don't need to clear history manually, you can just close Firefox.
If you're looking for another way to clear you cache, you can use this one:
Open the Options dialog using either:
* orange Firefox button > Options > Options
* Tools menu (if you have the classic menu bar) > Options
Click Advanced, then on the Network mini-tab look for the Cached Web Content section and click the "Clear Now" button.
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
Perhaps, though, we should step back and ask for a more specific description of running wack. What's going on? -
i have tried this 6+ times to "How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" on my wifes mac and can not get it to work!! On my PC no problem but on the MAC it will not work, follow the instructions to the T but no go????
It is almost as if the program does not exist on my computer. If I search for it, the only thing that comes up is the installer. I cannot find it anywhere despite the fact I have installed it numerous times, uninstalled it and conducted a fresh install, and the Adobe website checks says that it is installed.
