I'm trying to update my iphone 4 to IOS 5.0.1 but there is no space to backup on drive C so i can't continue updating via itunes
iTunes requires about 11 GB space when there is only 500 MB free on local disk C and its all windows stuff i can't delete. how can i update ?
my current IOS is 4.3.3

You can't, you need to offload some of your Windows stuff, or possibly look into getting a remote hard drive to copy some of your content. Bottom line, if all you have is 500MB of free disk space then you need to free up some space or get more.

You can restore to a backup made on a device running a higher iOS version; it must be the same or lower. Update your iPhone 5 in iTunes, set it up as a new iPhone, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to erase the phone. Go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. After updating you'll be able to restore to your backup.

Why not upgrade to Snow Leopard, if you can?
NO. There is no way to downgrade your iPhone OS back to iOS6. Apple makes downgrades of their mobile OS not possible.
If you can, the only thing you can do is upgrade your Mac's OS X operating system.

All iPhones sold in Japan are carrier locked. The Japanese carriers do not offer unlocking.
You can not use that phone on a carrier other than the one it is locked to.

The personal hotspot is not an app or an icon; it is a setting. You must first have your carrier provision it, then you turn it on in settings. Most carriers charge extra for tethering.

That sounds like a possible security software issue on the computer you are using, or are you trying to do the update via the phone OTA?
If you are trying to do it OTA, you might want to connect the phone to the computer and iTunes and attempt the update from there.
BTW, the update is iOS 6.1.3. -

There are ongoing problems with the iOS7.0.2 update that Apple isn't cooperating in fixing. Similar problem with no accept button on 54 page terms of agreement when trying to download apps.
This is the answer that will probably help and won't cost you $19 for a one time fix solution.
Sync your phone to itunes
make sure latest itunes version is installed
get to terms and conditions and accept (no other choice!)
after going through the download, accept, (may take a couple of times) should clear out the bugs
I'm no techie, but seems to be solving a lot of users problems
Apple needs better beta testing to avoid the various lockups and better tech support -

Still very confusing... do you want to know HOW to update? If so, iOS 5.1 is no longer available, you can only download the latest 5.1.1. To do so, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.

Given the state your device is in you have already erased your old stuff. You have an image on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes." That's what the image means. So you will need iTunes on your computer.
