TS4036 I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5 iOS 6.0.2 but it says I'm unable to because my backups aren't compatible because they're iOS 6.1

I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5 iOS 6.0.2 but it says I'm unable to because my backups aren't compatible because they're iOS 6.1. Please help!

You can restore to a backup made on a device running a higher iOS version; it must be the same or lower.  Update your iPhone 5 in iTunes, set it up as a new iPhone, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to erase the phone.  Go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup.  After updating you'll be able to restore to your backup.
