I'm trying to use the VPP to buy apps for iPads but it says I need to use a different apple id?

We are a small, private school that recently purchased 40 iPad minis to use in the classroom. We have been using Apple Configurator and iTunes to manage the free apps on the iPads. Now we would like to purchase some apps and I went through the steps to enroll in the VPP. I was looking around today and when I tried to sign into the app store through the VPP it said that I couldn't use the same apple ID because it was assciated with iTunes. Do I need to create another one? WIll this interfere with the apps we already have? Or would this id only be used for the VPP and would not affect the free apps and the Apple Configurator operation? Thank you!

You can not login into iTunes or the App Store using VPP credentials. You must purchase all apps/book/etc. from the VPP website. Then you can redeem the codes thru itunes/app store or import the codes thru apple configurator. (It will not affect any of the apps you already have but the id can only be used for VPP.)

Download the current GarageBand version to a computer's iTunes library, go to the device, sign into the iTunes App Store with the Apple ID used to do that, and try downloading it from the list of previous purchases. If that doesn't work and you don't already have a copy of a compatible version, you can't.

I used my wifi only pad in Ireland and uk, and as pointed out, the wifi has no gps.
I bought a 'bad elf' external receiver. Worked fine, is small, and idiot proof.
Then you need a map set. There are a lot of choices, I ended up using' offmaps', and bought the 'unlimited, and it was fine.   No point to point directions, but you can find where you are trying to go and the maps themselves were accurate and up to date.   Note, that may vary as you get around the world.
The elf cost 100, and the unlimited maps was, I think, $5.00.
The option was to simply buy a local garmin or Tom Tom when you get there.   As a gizmo guy, I went the elf approach.
The only downside of the elf is that it is so small, it is easy to lose it in a pocket or backpack.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing that I can do to help you with this situation. I don't know why, but many people have problems when they try to buy gems in the Clash of Clans game. Personally, I wouldn't touch the game with a ten foot pole, but that's just my opinion.

The app you are trying to download my be a zipped file and more space than 1.3GB. go to settings/general/usage and delete what you no longer want to make more space

I understand that you cannot use the Touchpad and the key functions at the same time. Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the mouse and Touchpad gestures. In the document, it shows you how to change the settings by clicking the settings icon to adjust the button actions on the Touchpad. Sometimes this is caused by an update that is needed. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that might need updating. Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.
