I may like to "zap" SAP, but I also like to "clap for SAP" when appropriate

I just sent this note to Patricia Smith in SAP Consulting concerning one of her staff - an SAP consultant who is referred to below as "xxxxx".
Hi Patricia –
xxxxx happens to be here on-site at yyyyy in zzzzz helping with Solution Manager
and a totally unrelated problem arose involving an emergency project for our PM (Plant Maintenance group.)
To satisfy yyyyy HQ staff from wwwww we have to be able to load graphic attachments created for IW22 notifications into SAP picture controls, so they appear on a custom IW22 tab rather than just “pop” in MS Picture Manager (as they do via the SAP-delivered GOS toolbox.)
I got the right code at SDN (from Uwe Schieferstein) to find the URL of an attachment and pass it to the load method of cl_gui_picture, but it wasn’t working on our system.
xxxxx took some time to investigate and his investigation pointed us in exactly the right direction – our PC and graphic attachments are now being stored internally in the SAP table SOFFCONT1, and to do what is necessary, we have to create an HTTP content server, point the SOFFHTTP storage category to this server, and then point the SOFFPHIO document class to SOFFHTTP rather than SOFFDB.
Without xxxxx's intervention, I doubt we would have been so quickly put on the right track to solve our problem and allow us to use the get_with_url method of cl_bds_document_set the way we need to use it.
xxxxx also has found a link that will tell us how to transfer documents from SOFFCONT1 to the new content server, and this is equally important, since we were wondering what we would have to do about all the PM notification attachments now stored “internally”.
So we really appreciate xxxxx’s help in an area he really wasn’t here to help us with. It not only reflects well on him, but also on SAP Consulting.
Sincerely,
David Halitsky

Wow thats like so amazing.
Why use zzzzz? it sounds like everyone is sleeping on the project.
I have seen your other posts trying to resolve this issue, looks like you have been from aaaaa to bbbbb to ccccc to ddddd to eeeee to fffff of zzzzz (oops!) but finally got it solved, congrats.
