I need a excel document to be used on a mac.  I cannot unlock or use the document.  Is there a way to do this?

    Hey,
    I have been brought in to take a look at a few errors experienced on a SharePoint 2013 farm that will be used for BI functionality. One of the errors is the following:
    This happens when I attempt to refresh a Excel document that is using an unattended account. The application that it attempts to access (named in the error) does not exist in the Secure Store Service. I have checked the Excel Service Global Settings
    and the Target Application ID of the Unattended Service Account does not match what is given in the error (but matches a target application id that exists).
    Is there anywhere that you can override the global settings of the excel service? Is there something else that might be wrong?
    Any help is appreciated.

    You will need to get the file into the Numbers app and there are a few different ways to do that. You could email the file and then use the "Open In" feature (tap and hold down on the open file in the email and select "Open In Numbers" from the resulting window) use iOS file sharing or maybe DropBox.
    I use file sharing with Pages which is another iWorks app. Read this for more information.

    Help...I'm trying to print address labels from an existing Excel document that opens fine in Numbers.  I don't want to print everything from the spreadsheet.  The Avery template and site were no help.  Any suggestions?

    If you do not need all the excel specific items you can just write it to a spreadsheet using the write to spreadsheet file vi's.
    If you want to go the excel route you will have to use active x. you can see a lot of examples on the excel board under the breakpoint forum. please post a sample of how you want your data to look and I can maybe help explain what options you have. and also oyu do not necesarily need the report generation toolkit.

    If you just need to read it, send it to yourself (an e-mail address you can access on your iPad) and open the Excel file from mail -- it will automatically open. If you need to edit it, I would recommend the app Numbers from Apple.

    You need to use the CHAT link in support to reach Adobe staff. Be sure you know the product name you are trying to cancel, Adobe have lots of products, several converters etc. I think it is ExportPDF you have, most likely.

    Yes, IF you picked the right partition, as in the Boot Camp partition. If everything is done right you should be able to boot into the Mac side.
    If you already booted into Windows and are at the point of installing the Boot Camp Drivers your already done installing Windows! Yea! All you need to do is just install the drivers and everything should work normal.
    The Windows partition and the Mac partition are seen as two different HD's now as far as the computer knows.
    You can use the Boot Camp control panel in Windows to boot into the Mac side and the Startup Disk in System Preferences on the Mac to switch to Windows. If you can't then press and hold down the Option key untill you get the boot screen.

    On the File menu, click Save As.
    On the Tools menu, click General Options.
    Do either or both of the following:
    If you want users to enter a password before they can view the workbook, type a password in the Password to open box, and then click OK.
    If you want users to enter a password before they can save changes to the workbook, type a password in the Password to modify box.
    NOTE   Unlike passwords you specify in the Password to open box, passwords you specify in the Password to modify box are not encrypted. These passwords are only meant to give specific users permission to modify workbook data. For optimal password security, it's best to assign both passwords. An encrypted password to access the workbook, and one to provide specific users with permission to modify its content. IMPORTANT   Use strong passwords that combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Weak passwords don't mix these elements. Strong password: Y6dh!et5. Weak password: House27. Use a strong password that you can remember so that you don't have to write it down.
    If you want to use a different encryption type, click Advanced, click the type you want in the Choose an encryption type list, and then click OK.
    If needed, specify the number of characters you want in the Choose a key length box.
    NOTE   Document property encryption is enabled by default for most encryption types and providers. It prevents unauthorized users from viewing summary and custom file properties (such as the author or any custom file information) in theProperties dialog box. When users right-click the password-protected file, and then click Properties, information won't be available on the Summary tab and Customtab. Authorized users, however, can open the file and view all file properties (Filemenu, Properties command). To disable document property encryption, clear theEncrypt document properties check box.
    Click OK.
    When prompted, retype your passwords to confirm them.
    Click Save.

    I need to put all password info and my bookmarks in Excel documents for my private drive without typing each one into the document. The only method I've found so far is Alt-Print Screen then Ctl-V. This only copies the information as a picture and leaves me a lot of work typing everything into a document.     Within Excel, we've set Application.ScreenUpdating = False, which hides the document from the user. When launching the document directly from the local drive (not from SAP), it doesn't get displayed.
    However, calling it from SAP seems to bring up Excel, and it shows the processing of the macro as well as the automatic printing and only then will Excel close.
    My question is, is there anyway we'd be able to run the Excel macro and print the spreadsheet without Excel ever opening at all?

    Hi - thanks for this info. Actually I have downloaded a 30-day trial of MS Office for Mac 2011 and it reads/writes. But I was expecting that if I saved it again, either as xls oe xlsx, then I would be able to open the newly-saved document in iWorks '08. This is not the case, any ideas why? cheers, Matt.

    Right click on a Excel Worksheet file, choose 'Get Info'. In the small window that opens change the 'Open with:' from Numbers to Excel. Click on 'Change All…'

    To get to this event in Acrobat 10, select:
    Tools > JavaScript > Set Document Actions > Document Will Save
    Note that JavaScript can be disabled by a user and some PDF viewers (e.g., Adobe Reader for iOS/Android) won't support this, so there is no way to guarantee that the for will get reset when saved.

    I built an import map to run it manually with import manager, but when I click on Ready to Import, the import manager is doing one record at a time. I have to go back to the match tab and refresh in order to import the rest.

    I can see all the records as "create" but when click on the icon to import records it only import one at a time, has to come back to the match tab -> refres -> import again
    Any idea why this might be happening?

    Unfortunately this information is not sufficient enough.. Please can you tell your MDM server version, In which table type you are trying to import data, record matching field types and logic (if multiple fields), version of MS excel.. This will help..
