Flashing videos (or stop motion/strobe videos) make me physically ill. They affect my eyesight and make me dizzy and nauseous. I only have to see them for a few seconds (while the page is loading and before I can close it) and it me. Is there a Mozilla/Firefox add on that I can use to disable these 6-10sec flashers and not affect other video watching? Please help! Thanks

There can be various way to animate images.
In this case it is an animated image and you can set the <b>image.animation_mode</b> pref to "once" on the <b>about:config</b> page to animate such an image only once or use "none" to block the animation completely.

You can look at the SuperStop extension that allows to stop animated GIF images via Shift+Esc:

In order to get your messages to show up on your other phone, you would need to have a backup of the phone with the messages, and then restore the new phone from that backup.
According to article iTunes: About iOS backups found here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946 iTunes will backup your Messages.
iTunes will back up the following information
Messages (iMessage and carrier SMS or MMS pictures and videos).

Is the notifier part of the email program? Is it an independent program like poptray? If it is separate from Firefox, it really shouldn't matter which browser you are using. Unless the notification is within IE.

This happens when someone drags the HD or a system folder icon to the iPhoto Window by accident. Solution: restore from back up created before this occurred.

Practically speaking, there are really four options for the Mac platform: Toast (<$100), Adobe Premier Productiom ($1,600 to buy or $50/month to rent), find a copy of Final Cut Studio from 3rd party (+/- $1,000 new) or a boxed edition of iLife to get iDVD ($50 - $90 on Amazon new).
The other question everyone has is how many OS versions before iDVD or FCS breaks? No one knows, but Apple has said they're no longer supporting these legacy apps. Of course, no one is mandated to upgrade to a new OS unless they buy a new computer. So if it works on a system, stay with it as long as it makes sense.

Try upgrading your Mac to the newest version of OS X Mavericks, and try upgrading your iPhone and iPad to the newest version of iOS 7.
OS X Mavericks may not be in the Mac App Store by now, but you can find the newest version of Mavericks here at download.com: http://download.cnet.com/Apple-Mac-OS-X-Mavericks/3000-18513_4-76018588.html. Note: Download.com it a safe website to download free software.
