I need an example of JSR179 implementation for CDC based device

Actually i am trying to develop an LBS(Location based Service) application for Pocket PC that is a CDC based Device,
I searched a lot on internet for any example that could help me but could't found anything usefull information.
I found a lot of stuff for MIDP, i found JSR179 implementation for MIDP but could't found anything for CDC(Connected Device Configuration).
So i need an example of JSR179 implementation for CDC based device. I really need it.
waiting for your help....
thanx

What is it from a business perspective that you are trying to accomplish?
What are you going to do with this data once you get it into the format you're envisioning?
Are you anticipating creating a collection of REC_SET records? Is there a reason that you're not using an associative array keyed on the c2 value (assuming collections are even appropriate to the problem you're trying to solve)?

  • Need assistance with editing/resizing/exporting for web based images

    Camera: Nikon D7100
    Using 14-bit RAW
So somehow I've failed to notice that when I export after editing and using the resize option (to 2000x2000), the quality of the resulting JPEG is soft and lacking in detail/clarity that exists in the image in LR. Even when I export it without resizing, leaving it in the natively taken resolution, the clarity and sharpness is gone. I've tried using the sharpen for screen settings but it doesn't fix the basic issue of the softness/clarity. I thought it might be the JPG view I was using (the default photo viewer in windows 8), so I reimported it back into lightroom but it shows the same lack of clarity/sharpness.
Attached is a sample of the issue. One is a screenshot of how it looks in LR, the other how it exports. 100% Quality, 72 resolution (have tried the default of 240 and it didn't change anything), sRGB color space.
Am I doing something wrong with the export process?

I stated in the original post that I was using the default windows 8 viewer (Windows Photo Viewer). However, when I reimported the JPG back into LR, it looked the same as when I viewed it with the photo viewer.

  • Adobe Story application for iOS-based devices

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/story/cs/using/WSeffff8bffc802084-10c4f33d12eecb6f873-8000.htm l

Adobe has a great, different view on screenwriting (and soon, novel writing) applications. I really like the desktop browser-based versions; however, the desktop and iOS versions royally bite. I cannot even use the browser version on my iPad because of the Flash limitation - though, that wouldn't be a problem if Adobe had a really nice iPad Adobe Story app.
The iPhone version is only good enough to look something up right quick, like when an idea pops in my head and I want to verify where it might go... but not ever execute those changes on the iPhone because it's just not usable... and I probably wouldn't even want to do much on that smaller device.
Thus, I'm eager to see a great Adobe Story iPad app that does it all. Since I need that type of app NOW, I bought Final Draft Writer which does everything I wanted... and then, I saw the benefits of upgrading my Final Draft Mac desktop software to version 8 so they can interact with each other. These are purchases I would rather not have made, but needed to due to Adobe Story not being quite up to speed yet.
But, I know Adobe Story will get there. Looking forward to it... and to not endlessly upgrading FD anymore.

  • ITSMobile for Text-based devices

    Hello,
My customer wants to change his current RF solution for SAP (after upgrading it to ECC 6.0) but wants to keep the old-fashioned text-based RF scanners.
One of the first solution I was to propose was TEKConsole (could be the SAPConsole as well), but as the freshly installed SAP system will have an integrated ITS server on it, my question is:
can ITSMobile be used for simple (LM*, no fancy stuff) applications towards Text-based services?
    Thanks in advance!
Edited by: Bada Boom on Apr 10, 2009 5:05 PM

OK, so I think i got the answer myself: as the device (Intermec 2425) is supporting HTML, this should be feasible. I still have to test that, but theoretically it shouldn't be a problem.
    Cheers!

  • De-activate standard implementation for New BADI ES_FIN_EBPP_MAIL_PUT_DATA

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to deactivate the standard implementation for the New BADI 'ES_FIN_EBPP_MAIL_PUT_DATA'
and activate my Z-Implementation. I have been able to activate the Z-implementation (i.e. by checking the checkbox Default implementation it allows me to activate the Z-implementation).
Also, the BADI ES_FIN_EBPP_MAIL_PUT_DATA is a single use BADI, so technically multiple implementations should not be possible. bus somehow it has allowed me to activate my Z-Implementation along with the standard implementation being active.
But the problem is although the Z-implementation is active, as the standard implementation is also active, the standard implementation overwrites the Z-implementation, therefore my code is never executed.
Please advise on how to deactivate the standard implementation and implement the Z-Implementation.
    Thanks!

cl_def_im_address_subscreen is only a sap default class that you can use for creating your own implementation. If you want to see the existing implementations, transaction SE18, enter Classic BAdI ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN and click menu enhancement implementation, overview. Check if the existing implementation corresponds to a custom implementation (then you can modify it), or to a sap or partner product (then you can't modify it, or you can use the enhancement framework to enhance it).

  • Where is the getString() implementation for RS and Object class question

    Dear all,
I had these two questions ringing since a long time.
    1)ResultSet is an interface.
In my jdbc code I have generally written rs.getString() and rs.getInt etc.. without giving a second thought as to where exactly is this getter implemented !
I have RTF API .. without too much help.
Could some one kindly explain Where is the implementation of the getString method ?
    2) Could you please tell why the Wait() Notify() and NotifyAll methods have been implemented in the Object class ? What was the need to define em in the Object class ?
Thanks in advance for your time spent on this.

A desire to not have to couple your code to a particular database and JDBC driver. It's a classic example of the abstract factory pattern

  • Class implementation for interface

    Hello,
I am a beginner in ABAP Objects.
In the coding of method if_swf_ifs_workitem_exit~event_raised of class CL_SWF_UTL_EXIT_NEW
There is the instruction follow :
    *Get the workflow container
    irh_container ?= im_workitem_context-> get_wf_container()
    Im_workitem_context is interface type  "IF_WAPI_WORKITEM_CONTEXT"
If I execute in debug mode I see the implemtation class of this interface (im_workitem_context)  is "CL_SWF_RUN_WORKITEM_CONTEXT"
But where this information of implementation is defined ? (I saw nothing)

Interfaces allow to implement highly scalable object oriented applications.
Interface is a kind of a template for a real class which forces this class to implement methods defined in an interface.
The main characteristics of an interfaces are:
    - they DO NOT contain any implementations (so there is nothing like INTERFACE ... IMPLEMENTATION - they have only DEFINITIONS - implementations are within classes)
    - they have only PUBLIC sections.
Why we need an interface. The answer is simple:
We want to handle some objects uniformly from one application compotent, whereas these objects may behave differently inside.
    Example:
Let's say we need to build a sorting program for numbers.
The program would have an interface variable L_RIF_SORTER of an interface LIF_SORTER. LIF_SORTER has a method definition SORT with an C_TAB changing parameter.
Sorting application would call the sorting algorithm as follows:
    L_RIF_SORTER->SORT( CHANGING c_tab = l_tab ).
    Now is the main point:
We want to have 2 kinds of sorting algorithms implemented, let's say BUBBLE SORT and QUICK SORT.
To do so, we implement 2 classes: LCL_BUBBLE_SORT and LCL_QUICK_SORT.
Both classes implement interface using the statment INTERFACES in a public section.
The user would have to choose the algorithm from an input field. Depending on the content of this field the sorting application would instantiate one class or the other using the statement:
    CREATE OBJECT l_rif_sorter TYPE (variable_with_class_name).
THis is the point where ABAP gets to know the real object and its type behind the interface.
This approach is generally called the STRATEGY PATTERN. See Wikipedia for this.
I hope I answered your question.
