I need confirmation on WVC2300 pinout for door lock.

I would like to use I/O buttons on WVC2300 interface to control electronic door lock. The schematic and explanation of how to use the I/O to control appliances is a bit sketchy. Does this camera offer 12V 100ma switched from pin 4 to 7 or 2 (GND) and/or pin 6 to 7 or 2 (GND)?
Thanks!

Hi Pradeep:
SAP GUI for Windows - If you create an transaction iview and select SAP GUI for WIndows -- then the GUI needs to be locally installed (there is another way to do it...where you network install the GUI I havent done this anytime though). There wont be any automatic installation, the GUI needs to be preinstalled.
SAP GUI for Java (JavaGui) - The primary objective of this GUI type is for *UX environments. However if you have the Sun Java plug-in it will work on windows also.
Please close the thread if your query has been resolved
Thanks,
GLM

• Need confirmation for [javaws.exe -uninstall]

Hi,
I need confirmation from the users before to uninstall the application.
But by this way I am not getting any confirmation before uninstall the application.
Eg : javaws.exe -uninstall URI<jnlp cache location>
( javaws.exe -uninstall "D:\Documents and Settings\sarayu\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\Dlocalhost\P8080\Tool\AMstartup.jar"
Thanks,
Sarayu.

As Kent mentioned you need to create seperate package for this KB and then advertise that with uninstall program.
There is a blog post re: the same (I've not tried it). May be you can give try?

I need JDK 1.5.0_8 for 64 bit windows 7
Where may I download it?

Thanks for getting me to the troublemaker ArielK.
I can confirm disabling APSDaemon.exe, aka, new Apple Push for WiFi Sync and renaming (or deleting if you are more risk oriented) APSDaemon.exe and APSDaemon_main.dll in this folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support" resolved my issue.
Alternatively, another slightly more annoying but less techy workaround for those nervous about changing filenames is to start iTunes in Safe Mode every time. You must do it via Programs > iTunes > hold down Ctrl-Shift then click iTunes (does not work if you do it by clicking a short cut in programs list or taskbar, whatever...). Maybe this disables WiFi Sync by default, dunno. Don't care at this point, but it seemed to work.
I can live without WiFi Sync for now, but its a nice feature I would really like to use in the future.
Apple please fix!!!

• What is the pinout for the 6602 relative to the 'D' connector.

I am developing a custom board to connect with the PCI-6602 Counter/Timer card. I will use the SH68-68-D1 Shielded Cable, 68-pins, 2 m to connect from the 6602 to the custom board. What I need to know is what is the pinout relative to the 'D' connector. The manual shows the connector as a rectangle.
Thanks,
Tony

Hi Tony,
The routing from the PCI-6602 through the SH68-68-D1 is one-to-one, so I believe that all you should need is the pinout for the 6602. This is shown below.
This information can be found in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) by right-clicking on the device and selecting "Device Pinouts".
I hope this is what you needed. Post back if you have further questions.

• Sending order confirmation to external app. for stock transport order

Hello,
What I need to do is to send an order confirmation from a STO to an external application. In more practical terms, the scenario is as follows.
We receive orders from an external application and an STO will be created by using SAP Idoc PORDCR04. Then, after running the availabillity check, I need to send an electronical confirmation back from the STO to this application so they can see the order confirmation in their application
How can I do that?
Edited by: Gunnar Aroen on Nov 18, 2011 2:22 PM

Hello Raghu,
I need to send the order confirmation to E-mail for different customers. The
e-mail id is same but i have to send to 300 different customers. Is there any
option available in SAP to do this otherwise i have to trigger the output
manually for this 300 customer numbers.
I have a question here with reference to your questions of triggering a Order confirmation E-Mail --> Could you please explain the business reason of triggering E-mail to same recipient multiple times ? Just think over it...Sending E-mails for 300 number of Customer on a single E-mail ID is not making any sense.
You can maintain multiple E-mail ID in Customer master record and as per SAP standard, email will be triggered to only one recipient. Anyway please refer to the below suggestion of your question:-
1:- Please reach out to Technical consultant and try developing a program which will have selection criteria of Sales Order, Customer ID, Output Type and Number of execution as selection screen which in turn will call the driver program and trigger the Email 300 number of times.
Kindly update the forum after you carry out this exercise.

Sarthak

• Confirm the char value for in UTF8

Hi Team,
we are facing an issue with one of the special characters in Oracle Database:
1. We have description with ® in description
2. We have the database charset as UTF8
3. The setting for the application is Unicode
4. When we query the item on the Application, SQL Developer, the description shows fine
5. When we run the query connecting to the UNIX server with the charset UTF8, the description shows fine.
6. When we run the query connecting to the UNIX Server with the charset ISO-8859-1:1998 (Latin-1, West Europe), the description shows ® instead of ®.
7. The character value in the database shows as 49838.
8. When we check for the query SELECT CHR (49838) FROM DUAL in SQL developer, the output shows as ®
9. When we check for the query SELECT CHR (49838) FROM DUAL with the UTF8 as charset then the output shows as ®
10. When we check for the query SELECT CHR (49838) FROM DUAL with the ISO-8859-1:1998 (Latin-1, West Europe) as charset then the output shows as ®
11. We have also tried copying the character ® from charmap and using it in the description and even then it shows as ® when connected to UNIX using the charset ISO-8859-1:1998 (Latin-1, West Europe)
Can anyone confirm the char value for ® in UTF8.
Thanks
Madhavi Gadicherla

194 174 (hex C2 AE)
http://www.denalimultimedia.com/info/Articles.aspx?cid=07&topic=unicode_utf-8
http://www.utf8-zeichentabelle.de
http://www.williamrobertson.net/documents/ascii.html
194 when interpreted on its own is the character, and 174 is ®. The application needs to know it's a 2-byte UTF-8 character.
49838 is C2A2 in hex, which looks correct for the CHR function in a UTF-8 database.

Hi,
Please check the following settings:
1. Go to Transaction Code FS00. Give your Bank GL A/c number and press enter. Click on "Create/Bank/Interest" and find out your FSG. For example your FSG is G005.
2. Go to Transaction Code OBC4. Select your Company code's FSV and double click on "Field Status Groups". Then select FSG which is available in your bank GL account (G005) and double click on it. Now you can find various Groups.
3. Open another screen and go to the transaction code for posting keys OB41. Double click on your posting key. (Its may be either 40 or 50). Click on "Maintain Field Status".
4. Now you can compare various field statuses which are available in Posting Keys and Field Status Groups. Field Statuses between these two should be same. It not make necessary changes accordingly and save the data.

• IMac Freezing Issue -Need Confirmation...

Hey all,
I need confirmation on whether or not zapping the PRAM seems to stop the iMac freezing issue. I have had 3 freezes within 10 minutes. I restarted after my last preparation to installing Leopard and the screen saver kicked in, which is the 'Cosmos' slide show and the graphics froze up. Screen went black and I left it for a couple of minutes. I came back to it, and had an image on the screen, but it was still locked up. So I restarted it. After boot up, I opened Activity monitor, and locked up again.
So I zapped the PRAM on this 3rd restart and have not locked up since. I'd bet 100 to 1 that if I were to restart, without the PRAM reset, I would crash within 5 minutes of the start up.
I really believe without a doubt these iMac reboot issues are related to specific EFI versions failing to initialize graphics correctly.
Can anyone confirm this? If your iMac crashes, does Zapping the PRAM fix it?
I'll be calling Executive relations contact and telling her the bad news.
Okay, so first off, this isn't a solution to this iMac plague, but it should prevent the freezing and NO, it does not have to do with removing the ATI drivers.
I was asked to install Leopard by Executive relations at Apple and told her that, as soon as I do, my iMac will freeze. So, I have been preparing the Leopard install and have crashed 3 times, in a row... at that point I said, Leopard is going to be a no go but I needed to use my iMac without it crashing. So, zapped the PRAM like I did before and immediately the graphic freezes went away.
So

Here is my experience, iMac 24:
I bought in JR NY 2 weeks ago. I had to use it without internet connection (so no updates) and no freezes.
Then I connected to internet and installed the available updates and start to get the freezes, even trying the PRAM reset.
I tried to remove the extra memory, change memory slot but no lucky, video artifacts (like pixels not refreshing) when moving the mouse over the dock icons then freeze.
I had no other softwares installed at all, only the OS applications.
I formatted the HD and reinstalled the Tiger and didn't accepted any update, so I could use the imac for 2 days without a single freeze, but some black screens when screen saver starts.
Since no freezes, I decided to update the OS again and after the first boot the freezes came back very fast, I could start a freeze in about 10 seconds.
I tried the PRAM reset without sucess and my machine was ready to go to a tech person.
Yesterday I updated the OS to 10.4.11 and did a PRAM reset after the update and tested the machine for 2 hours without a freeze or video artifacts, looks very stable, but I have to test it more.
You guys tried the Tiger last update ?

• Pinouts for SB Live Platin

Can anyone provide me with the pinouts for a SoundBlaster Li've Platinum PCI card? I need to know the pins for where the Li'veDri've would connect (The part that looks like an IDE connection). I want to hook up my front case audio connections (mic and headphones). I know the board has to have these going off those pins, because the Li'veDri've for that model supports analog signal and has a mic and headphone jack on it. The headphone cut the speakers when a jack is plugged in. I'd love to get a schematic on this board, but I have'nt found anything seaching the web. I figured someone here aor mod or tech from creative could supply the info. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi
Search Creative support (knowledge base). There is some pinouts data available.
If not there then try driverheaven.

• Possible Battery Problem - Need Confirmation..

Hello all,
I bought my 3rd generation iPod last year knowing the batteries dont last forever, I bought it off of someone else so it had already been used beforehand. I have had great use from it however even if I fully charge the battery it cuts out within only 5 minutes of playtime. It will turn on and show an apple only to cut out again.
I basically just need confirmation whether this iPod needs a new battery so that I can purchase a new one or send it off to be sorted, what I dont want to do is send it off not knowing what the actual problem is.
I would appreciate if someone could just comment on this situation as soon as possible so that I can resolve this.
Many thanks in advance from whoever helps.
Sean.

Try these:
- reset, several times
- update the firmware
- calibrate the battery and the battery meter
If noe of these work, Apple will replace the battery for $60. You can do itself cheaper but, unless you've done this before, it's easy to turn a small repair into a large one.
