I need helo / lot of problems
I recently buy ipod touch the v. is 4.2.1 and i have the following problems.
1.- When i start an app it suddenly close the app and the screen turns white for a moment, then i have to start the app after a reboot of the ipod touch.
2.- Some apps wwhen im using them it suddenly turns white and it seems the app its still working but it has a video fail (its not the same as point number 1) the first one closes the app and the second one its still running but without video).
In number 1 and 2 when it happens i have to turn off the device and then it works for a while.
3.- When im on MSN messenger it never sends me a notification until i start the program again it says connecting and then it get my messages.
4.- in msn the chat part of the program it has the ppl who talk to me but suddenly they dissapear and i cant get it to work until i reboot the system.
I try to restore my devide using the itunes restore point, it lasts like 3 hours doing the reboot and i cant fix those problems if someone can help me i appreciate it.
If you are having problems restoring, have it looked at. Sounds like you have a hardware issue there anyway. With that screen going white, your logic board could be the problem.

I need advise and help with this problem .
First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .
At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .
In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer
Any help is welcome , English is my learned language , you may notice this , so I'm not that quick with the respondGenieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.

I use itunes on a Dell XPS502 with W7/64. In some cases have have problems to import CD's. The sound is very disturbed and the import need a lot more time than in normal cases. Is there a problem between itunes and W7/64 or a known hardware issue?
Example-CD : "Tracy Chapman , Telling stories" is not able to import . I have more such negative cases. But in other cases it works fine and the sound is great.
The firmware at the inbuild CD/DVD DS-6E2SH is the latest version.

I don't no about virtuel drives like you mententioned. In the mean time I have rebooted the XPS and run again the iTunes diagnostics. I think the back - chance in the registry was not ready to use. Now there are another results. They are the same in case of a running CD or a not running CD. The difference in total is like before. It takes more time that iTunes reads the (bad) CD and at the there is no good sound. In both cases ( running or not running CD) iTunes diagnostics gives as a result :

Lots of problems with newer MacBook Pro
I bought my first Mac about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately I've had lots of problems with it. I need to get it repaired, but I'm not sure what's wrong. I live in Thailand so I want to have some idea of what's going on before taking it to a shop (so they don't try to price gouge me).
The first problem happened about 9 months after i bought it. The computer would become incredibly slow. Sometimes it would take 15 minutes to boot up and sometimes it wouldn't boot up at all. But sometimes it was fine. If it did boot up, sometimes when I'd go into a folder in Finder, nothing would show up. The spinning loader graphic would just spin at the bottom of the Finder window. I ran a disk check and it said it found multiple errors that could not be fixed. I erased the hard drive and reinstalled Lion and everything seemed fine. Since I live in Thailand and I need my computer for work, I didn't want to ship it off to Apple to be fixed. It seemed fine after formatting the hard drive, so I figured it was fixed.
About 3 months later the problem came back, but much worse. I couldn't boot up or anything. I took it to a small Mac repair shop because at this point the 1 year warranty had expired. Of course inside the shop it booted up fine and I had to explain to the guy that for 5 days I haven't even been able to turn it on. Finally after restarting 4 times it began slowing down and he could see what I was experiencing. He said he could try replacing the hard drive, but couldn't guarantee it would fix it. I needed my computer badly at this point so I said let's try. I came back a couple days later and he had transferred everything to the new hard drive and installed it. Everything seemed to be working fine.
That worked, although sometimes (rarely) something weird would happen, like the computer would just shut down for no reason. But, the DVD drive stopped working. It loads a disc OK, but it can't read it and won't burn a DVD. One time it wouldn't eject my DVD for about 30 minutes. I was trying everything I could find on Google. Finally it spit it out.
Now, about 6 months later, I was watching a movie and about 10 small colored boxes popped up on the screen. They went away after a few seconds, so I closed my movie and went to shut down my computer. The entire screen then filled with horizontal rainbow colored static. It stayed for about 30 seconds, then the screen turned grey. I could hear and feel the fans blowing at full speed.
And then for about a full day it went away, until earlier today. As I was backing up all my files I played a quick part of a movie. The same squares popped up on the screen so I immediately closed the movie and they went away.
I finished backing up and then erased the hard disk. I started installing Mountain Lion, and it stopped at about 75%. I canceled the installer and restarted. After a few seconds the screen turned solid blue with white staticky lines. And now that happens every time I turn on the computer after about 30 seconds. There's no operating system because before I can even get to the installer before the screen goes.
Sorry for the huge amount of info. I just don't have enough experience with Macs to know what's going on. My current issue resembles a video card problem, the issues before resemble a hard drive and DVD drive issue. Replacing the hard drive fixed it temporarily. Could a problem with the logic board cause all of these issues?

If you had contacted Apple about each of the issues that you reported here, they would have kept a log of the problems that would help them determine whether to continue support after the warranty expires.
You might consider asking about "Flat Rate Repair Pricing." See the discussion thread here and note that some users report that the flat rate repair pricing is only available in the U.S. and Japan.

Actually, I had great experiences with two different macs sent to the repair depot. One computer had narcolepsy on day one. Apple sent me a box, I packed up the PB and dropped it off at UPS. Apple fixed and returned to my house two days later. The second MBP had a known video card problem. I took it to an Apple Store Genius who ran a specifc test and deduct that it was the known defective video card. The store was out of parts and ordering would take a week. Knowing my past experience with the Repair Depot, I ask for that option. The genius took my MBP and shipped it to the depot that night. Three days later, I received the fixed MBP and on the work order, their tests showed failed fans that they also replaced. Three or four weeks later, the Apple Store called to tell me they got the video card in stock.
Gather up your grit, perseverance, and persistence before contacting Apple. Try bypassing phone support by contacting them via their online support system with the link I provided in the previous post. (I remember using the online support system and was able to choose to have them call me. At the time, I had AppleCare so i'm not certain with out-of-warranty.) Another option is to seek an authorized Apple service provider.

I really am having a lot of problems with a program. I got the program to compile but it looks absolutely nothing like it is supposed to look. I have a deadline for tomorrow and sent my teacher an email but the chances of him getting back to me by tomorrow night for a weekend is pretty much slim to none. I'm having a lot of problems with the hotmail account, regularly is indicating an error in the server, that I have to introduce the password again that late that this is wrong. I have changed the password making this shorter but it does not work.

Report RSXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES needs a lot of resources
Hi,
we are using PI 7, SPS9.
When we have a heavy load in XI, we are getting sometimes JavaNullPointer-Exceptions in Java-mappings, so we have to restart these messages - no problem!
There is the report RSXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES to restart failed messages, but when I defined it as a job (every 1 hr) and during this time we have a lot of messages (but only some are failed), the job never ends and it needs a lot of resources!
In the queues I can see a lot of entries made by the report.
Our report still have the field "max restarts" and I entered 5 restarts!
What can I do?

This is a test system and at the moment I just defined jobs for deleting and not for archiving.
My problem is, that we have a sender with thousands of messages via the same interface for the same receiver and sometimes a message failed ('cause of NullPointerException in java mapping).
To define a filter in the report RSXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES is no solution 'cause the filter cannot reduce the number of messages (it's always thousands of messages).
When the job starts during less traffic, I don't have any problems - it's just a problem during heavy traffic.

i had downloaded a pair of albums, and i can´t see it on my iTunes library, neither in downloaded...,. I need a lot of help please
Do the tracks show up in the Recently Added playlist? If so then something has gone wrong with the index of the Music playlist. Download the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. I know it sounds odd, but it should fix the problem. (Probably adding anything would do.)
If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up.

My Droid4 started exhibiting a lot of problems in last 5 days
my Droid4 v.4.1.2 started exhibiting a lot of problems…outgoing
texts fail, app updates fail, low signal strength and the battery won’t hold a
charge past 3-4 hours. I uninstalled my last two app downloads and then some
but the problems still exist…I also rebooted. Any suggestions....is the phone dying?I am having similar problems with the battery. It charges to 30% then falls back to 20% while still plugged in. Eventually it either goes up to 50 or falls down to 5. the phone has been sluggish & memory availability has been low, even after uninstalling some apps (viber, angry birds & more). The Amazon apps (kindle, app store, music) keep restarting themselves. So does Google play, music, hangouts, etc, even though I don't use them on a day to day basis.
I went to the Verizon store & they said my battery is shot & I need to get a new phone. I know they want to sell phones, but that is terrible customer service. How do they know what's wrong without even testing it? I like my Droid4 since it has a physical keyboard. -
Lots of problems with Mac 10.5 and AirPort Extreme base station 802.11n and Lacie Drive:
1. Cannot download .... in dialogue box I get message Download Zero KB. Apple downloads other downloads all same problem.
2. Cannot see USB Lacie Desktop Hi Speed /USB2.0 drive TQ346X/A 500GB connected to AirPort Extreme Wireless Base Station MB053X/A .
3. Cannot see USB laser printer connected to AirPort Extreme Wireless Base Station MB053X/A .
4. Cannot connect to Windows XP Desk Top computer because D-Linck DWL- G150 cannot connect to AirPort Extreme wireless network.
5. Apple support in Qld is crap- I spent 4 hours on the phone trying to resolve these problems with nil result.Hi,

Please help I have lots and lots of problems with lockups that can happen any time post , bios , loading vista and sometimes during OS. Some times will work ok play games etc. Already tried different combinations fitting the mem modules even tried and some pc4200 modules same problems. Spent lots of hours clocking the mems with different settings but non is stable. I am not interested in overcloking just to make it stable to start with. When is actually running is fine is more than enough for me. Already looked to lots of posts on the msi forum but… Since the cpu is old can I go back on an older bios version???? The Corsair modules have to run at 2.1V or is it possible to use them with slower setting. So confused so lost ….. please HELLPPPPP

One thing I find with BIOS issues is to do a full clear.
1. disconnect the power cord from the power supply(turn switch to off if there is one.
2. hit the power switch to clear the power out of the system.
3. set the cmos jumper to clear and leave there if one is available.
4. Pull the battery.
5. carefully short out the battery connector on the motherboard to drain any power left.
6. press the clear cmos button and hold for 30sec minimum, if you didn't have a jumper to set.
7. replace battery, move jumper back, plug in power cord, turn on power sipply switch.
Now it should hopefully power up. go into BIOS and load optimized results. hit save and exit and when it gets back to the post screen, go back into bios and set your normal MB settings(ie. set boot devices, boot order, disable sound if using sound card, etc...)
go into your H/W Monitor section and list the CPU Vcore settings to make sure it is getting the power it needs. I just looked it up and it's suppose to run from 1.225v - 1.325v.
also, try your most generic ram you have with auto settings. the faster the ram usually the more volts they need and default volts are 1.8v for ram and sometimes faster chips have issues with lower volts.

ps. make sure everything is unplugged from the computer you don't need. just cpu, 1 stick of ram, and video. and of course keyboad and mouse. Please make a signature with all your systems specs including make and model numbers. I hate guessing at solutions and I'd hate to see you buy any more unneccessary parts because of lack of information. -
7210 Supernova fw 7.23 a lot of problems
Nokia 7210 supernova firmware 7.23 have a lot of problems
1. After rebooting phone (off and on) all birthday notifications are disappear.
2. Sometimes radio not working. Need to off and on (reboot) phone. (See video on http://igor-kuznetsov.livejournal.com/7806.html)
3. While searching names in phonebook. After inputing first uppercase letter always need to switch to lowercase. (not very convenient)
4. Sometimes while making photo via phone camera, photo saving on memory card with errors. After checking i found that this is not independent of the memory card. I tested on the memory card from nokia. (Memory card was formated in nokia 7210 before testing).
I called to Nokia Service by the number 88007002222 and they said that all errors are be fixed. Six months had passed, but the i did not found new firmware on nokia site.I recently updated my firmware and have many problems as well. I have recieved no actual support either, but have been lied to that there's a new firmware, which the software updater doesn't display. Nokia's behaviour of releasing clearly untested firmwares and lying is very disrespectful and irresponsible.

Lots of problems with AirPort Express
I've got a lot of problems switching to an Apple Time Capsule and AirPort Express, so I posted them all here.
First of all, I got a new time capsule and airport express. When I first plugged in the time capsule and tested it, it loaded my home page instantly. So I tried clicking on tabs on apple,s website, all loaded in less than a second. I thought they were cached pages, so I loaded pages I never went to and they all loaded in less then a second. Then I exited safari, and the next time i used it it was back to normal speed, 5-10 seconds a page. Not exactly a problem but just wondering if any ideas on how to get that speed back.
Secondly, I set up my airport express. I planned on using it mainly for airtunes, but set it up to also extend my network. First time using it, AirTunes played, started crackling, then stopped. Now i get the error -15000 message.
Thirdly, the next day my computer wont load the internet when on one side of the house when hooked up to my TC network. I get 3 or 4 bars, yet the internet wont work. I tried checking AirPort Utility, and found my computer no longer locates my AirPort express... yet the light was green. So I reset it. Now all it does is blink yellow and STILL doesnt get picked up.

The firmware or security check above may fix this issue. If not,
the Express should be reset by holding in the reset button until the amber light blinks quickly. Open AirPort Utility and reconfigure the device. -

You can try the steps:
For Mac
Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Adobe Installers.
Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.
** If it says application is running in the background then open Activity Monitor and close the process of Creative cloud.
Once the creative cloud is uninstalled then follow the below mentioned steps:
Please go to Library
1. Click on Finder then Click on Go and Go to folder
2. Type /Library and click on Go
3. Go to Application Support and Adobe and then delete OOBE folder.
4. Redo Step 1
5. Type ~/Library and click on Go
6. Go to Application Support and Adobe and then delete OOBE folder.
7. Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud?promoid=KLYVF
Download Adobe Creative cloud, Install it.
If the above steps do not work. Try enabling root user account and then try to open Adobe Creative cloud.

As mentioned above I have just downloaded OSX Maverick to my iMac. I am now having a lot of problems with iCloud. I get the message that "This iMac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with, and then it goes on to quote my e-mail address. It then says to open iCloud preferences to fix this problem.
I do this and no matter what I seem to do this message continues to return.
Can anybody explain how to resolve this problem (please bear in mind that I am noy very computer literate).
