I need help on Binary to Binary copy.
I am trying to copy a Binary to another Binary file using XI. my approach was like this:
1. read a binary file using File Adapter.
2. design a mapping interface. (do not do any conversion, or parsing)
3. write the mapped message into another binary file.
I am getting error on mapping stage: "MAPPING">EXCEPTION_DURING_EXECUTE", "api.BaseRuntimeException was thrown: Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.Parser~</
how to map binary inbound message to binary outbound message? what would be the ideal data structure (data type)?
thanks.
Imam
Imam,
2.<i> design a mapping interface. (do not do any conversion, or parsing)</i>
If you dont need any mapping and if you are mapping straight from sender to receiver then you dont need to go through the IR part. Only thing is to configure the ID part. Check the weblog given by Raj.
Also in sender and receiver communication channel select the type as Binary.

hey i'm doing some things, but i need a entry of a binary coded number, i know that an hex number is written like 0xFF but how do i put a binary number in an instruction such as:
byte b
b="binary number"I see what you want to do, but you can only do this with octal and hex. With binary, you would have to do it something like this:
byte b = Byte.parseByte("01101001", 2); // base-2 -
Need help - Catalyst 3550 on CCM4.1 Voip
Guys.
We had a Catalyst 3550 switch fail last week, and the guy who really knows this system has left the company.
The switch has a non-free molecules error, which i believe is terminal.
I've sourced a replacement switch and need help configuring it.
I copied the running config from it's sister switch (there are only 2 switches on this ccm), however, the sister switch is a 3560.
I changed the I.P address and switch name before uploading it to the 3550 on the off chance it might just work.
Show run on the 3550 shows that it might be configured, but when i connected it, it took the gateway down.
I'm really up the creek at the moment unless i can get someone to either look at it, find an old config or get this guy back in for a few hours.
Any advice would be greatly received.
Looking at show run, i see two refernces to VLAN's
interface Vlan1
ip address 170.205.238.3 255.255.255.0
interface Vlan10
ip address 10.10.0.254 255.255.255.0
ip classless
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 170.205.238.1
no ip http server
The I.P address 170.205.238.1 is alien to me.. i don't know what this is. However, what i do know is that i never changed this. This IP address is the same in the 3560.
Could this cause an issue ?. I'm not aware of anything on a 170.X.X.X subnet, this could have been some legacy from the previous owners of the building.
The first 3 ports in the switch are connected to the publisher, subscriber and gateway router.
Does it matter which port is connected to which component. ?
I believe that i can't be too far away from configuring this, but without any help, i'm a bit stuck.

Some DVDs not playing in my iMac, need help!
some orginial / genuine DVDs not playing in my iMac, need help!
Once your husband copied the movies, did he use a burn software to burn them to a DVD? You need to use a burn software to properly encode the footage so it'll play in any DVD player/computer/TV. So, once the movie is copied to your hard drive, you can edit it in iMovie (may need a converter first to get it into a format iMovie can work with such as MPEG Streamclip); after you're done in iMovie, use iDVD if you have it or Roxio Toast to burn it to a DVD.
And for the OP: Regions are different depending on where the movie was made: the US, Europe, etc. The regions are set within DVD player - you insert a DVD and the player reads what region it originated in. Please note you can only change regions 5 x; after the 5th, that setting will remain and can't be changed again. -
Help with binary conversion project
hey my assignment was to make a program that would say the binary representation of an int. i got my program working and im pretty sure it works for all negatives and 0. my question is can you guys help me with a way to do the same steps with for( or while( ? it seems like i went the long way doing this project and even tho it works theres probably a much simpler way of going about it. theres no interface or anything we just change the value of N and recompile it and run from command prompt so far in our class. thanks for the help

I need help! when I am importing my NEF Raw files from my D3300 camera into lightroom 5 and try to use the "copy as DNG" button I always get an error message saying that "saying the file is not recognized by the raw format support". The whole purpose of that button is so that the file can be recognized... How can I make the "copy as DNG" button work as it is supposed too?? Thank you
Thank you for responding. So I essentially will never be able to use that button in lightroom 5? do I need to get LR 6? Will there ever be an update for LR 5 that will enable me to use it?
Does DNG Converter work within LR or do I have to upload pictures to my computer and then make a second copy in DNG format. and then go into LR and use them?
Thank you @dj_paige -

If I go down to the database level and look within the Oracle database dba_tables the tables and objects exists within the database but SAP is unable to recognize them. All objects were imported with a Oracle Data Pump dump file and now I just need help in getting SAP to recognize the tables.
Edited by: Adam Gendle on Feb 19, 2010 12:29 AMHi,
Its showing inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the database.
Have you run Test-Run before performing actual client copy ?
Please check the Consistency of affected Tables.
SE11 -> Display Table -> Utilities -> Database Object -> Check
(check DB Object as well as Run time Object)
Please refer this [SAP Note 686357 - Table pool length incorrect after Unicode conversion|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/686357] to get more information. The relevant solution is mentioned there if the pool tables having inconsistency with VARDATA field.

Read file content and keep binary copy
Hi All, I don't know what the best way of doing this is, but my requirement is to read the content of a file using File Adapter and post a document with this datda in SAP, but also to keep a binary copy of the file attached to the posted document.
So my question is, Is there a way within the file adapter to read the content of the file using the Content Conversion mechanism and at the same type keep a binary copy of the read file.
Thanks,
PabloHi,
I know we can send it via proxy but your question was something different or my be I misunderstood it.. here is your question again..

What I understood from your question that, there is a file which you want to read/pick via file adapter and at the same time you also want to attach same file along with the content and then post it to R3.
If my assumption is correct then it is not possible. Yeh If there is some workaround then that is different story.

I NEED SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO COPY MUSIC FROM IPOD TO LIBRARY.help:(
My computer crashed and i lost all my music. i read the last topic (the girl has a similar problem to me) so i tried and tried to follow the instructions given to her, but i found it too intense and confusing.
i would like someone to explain the simplest way of transferring music from my Classic to my itunes 7. i desperatley need help on this. iv spent hours on this site trying to make sense of it all but i cant! please help me. I will be very grateful to whoever can help me!!!!
From, confused and helpless, Isobel.Hopefully this isn't too intense but you do need to decide what method you want to use at which point it gets simpler. For instance if you pick a utility to make the transfer you carefully read the help pages for the one you choose. If you decide to do it manually you carefully read the article on manual transfer. Take it a paragraph at a time. Each of the blue links will take you to a help page or a web page with more information. Take it slowly and don't panic, there's no need to post continually either, we are all just users like yourself here and you have to wait until someone had free time to help out. Posting every 4 or 5 minutes won't help.
1). First of all you have to get your iPod safely connected to your computer with losing anything. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod
2). Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
The transfer of content from sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:
Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes
Comparison of iPod managers
TuneJack Windows Only (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod2PC Windows Only
iDump Windows Only
SharePod Windows Only
iPodRip Mac & Windows
YamiPod Mac and Windows
Music Rescue Mac & Windows
iPodCopy Mac and Windows
Floola Mac & Windows
iGadget Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
3). Finally - Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay. -
Need help with copying files onto external drive
I need help! Trying to copy downloaded movie files from Vuze (which have downloaded successfully) and copy onto external hard drive to view them but it wont let me copy over to the external device. Any ideas how to fix this please???
Can you explain the steps you used, and the error message (or symptom), that says the copy did not work?

“iBoostUp.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “iBoostUp.app” and download it again from the App Store.
Because of the above error, i am not able to use iboostup application. I have even tried to reinstall from app store, but the issue still continues.
Need help.Perhaps the damaged file is an auxiliary file outside the app bundle and stored elsewhere on your Mac. Try deleting the app and all it files with an app for that purpose. Afree one is AppCleaner;

FCP 7 constantly crashing. I need help!
I need help!
I'm in the middle of a big project and it's become impossible to continue editing because of the times FCP is crashing.
I've done the usual stuff, deleted the preferences, created new projects and copy only the sequences needed to reduce the amount of stuff and repaired disk permissions.
The project is pretty big, as most of my clips are multiclips (two C300s) and my main sequence runs for around two hours.
Here are the details of the crash reporter, if someone could help me it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks very much

Need help in Creating DB manually with OFA
Hi,
I want to create database in 10g manually and for this purpose
I need help.
since we can use OFA for storing Control files, and redolog file
and datafile by describing them in Create database command but
how to store any instance related file like spfile, pfile or network
related file.
once the oracle 10g database software is installed then if we want
to create database then how can we separate the database file and
all other instance files from software binaries because I've noted
that creating database with DBCA create all instance files along with
binary files of the software although DBCA give you option of creating
database related file in some other location/directory.
kindly help me in this I want to achieve above task in compliance with
OFA
Thanks and Regards,

D.AbbasiTHe OFA spec (as best I recall) states that one of the levels of directory for all of your data files will be the db name. So if you name your database 'orcl', every file system in which you keep any files related to 'orcl' will be in a directory name 'orcl'.
As for what happend when you created your db. Oracle will default to putting things in the Oracle home structure because that's the only thing he can guarantee will be there. But you had the option (indeed, the obligation) to override these defaults.
BTW, when using dbca, if you chose any of the pre-canned database types, the database will be created by doing a restore from a pre-canned backup. If you chose 'custom' database, the database will be created by way of a CREATE DATABASE script. It would be instructive time well spent for you to go through dbca and select 'custom database', pay attention to all of the options as you work through, then at then end, deselect "create database" and select "generate scripts". Do the same for one of the pre-defined database types. Then study the scripts generated by each method.
