  • Why after referenced dll files to my project they are not on my release directory when i build the project ?

    This is a screenshot of my visual studio csharp the References and properties part of the dll's:
    You can see on the right the 3 problem files are the directx dll files.
    When my brother is running the program he get exception say one or more of the dll files is not found.
    I sent him the 3 dll files he tried to put them from where he was running the program he also tried to put them at the directory they are in my place: C:\Temp\radarscan\dlls\DLL'S\Microsoft.DirectX.DLL
    He created this directory and put them there but it didn't help.
    I was sure once i referenced the dll files they are in my program no need to have them. And at least to have them in the directory where you running the program from but it's not working.
    What i want is that my brother and anyone else that will run the program will not need the dll files on his pc and if he does need them so to have them in the directory where you are running the program from will be enough. How can i solve it ?

    Still not working. Tried Samir solution but same problem my brother on his computer getting exception:
    This is the code the line where the exception happen 142:
    private void ScanClouds_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
    Boolean bl = InitializeDirectX();
    if (bl == false)
    MessageBox.Show("Error initializing directX!");
    Application.Exit();
    And in the method init:
    private Boolean InitializeDirectX()
    DispMode = Manager.Adapters[Manager.Adapters.Default.Adapter].CurrentDisplayMode;
    D3Dpp = new PresentParameters();
    D3Dpp.BackBufferFormat = DispMode.Format;
    D3Dpp.PresentFlag = PresentFlag.LockableBackBuffer;
    D3Dpp.SwapEffect = SwapEffect.Discard;
    D3Dpp.PresentationInterval = PresentInterval.One; //wait for vertical sync. Synchronizes the painting with
    //monitor refresh rate for smoooth animation
    D3Dpp.Windowed = true; //the application has borders
    try
    D3Ddev = new Device(Manager.Adapters.Default.Adapter, DeviceType.Hardware, pictureBox1.Handle,
    CreateFlags.SoftwareVertexProcessing, D3Dpp);
    D3Ddev.VertexFormat = CustomVertex.PositionColored.Format;
    D3Ddev.RenderState.Lighting = false;
    D3Ddev.RenderState.CullMode = Cull.CounterClockwise;
    //load imagesBmp to panelTexture
    //panelTexture = Texture.FromBitmap(D3Ddev, imagesBmp, Usage.Dynamic, Pool.Default)
    backTexture = TextureLoader.FromStream(D3Ddev, mymem);
    //scannerTexture = TextureLoader.FromFile(D3Ddev, @"D:\Buttons\Radar\radar.png");
    scannedCloudsTexture = new Texture(D3Ddev, 512, 512, 1, Usage.Dynamic, Format.A8R8G8B8, Pool.Default);
    //sprite is used to draw the texture
    D3Dsprite = new Sprite(D3Ddev);
    return true;
    catch
    return false;
    The 3 dll files are: Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.DLL, Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3DX.DLL, Microsoft.DirectX.DLL
    The question is why he is getting this exception ? Realy it dosent see/find the dll files ? Or maybe his machine not supporting this directx files ? Strange.
    Another thing when i put my mouse on the hard disk on the dll files i see a baloon tip say the:
    File description: Microsoft Managed Direct3D Debug
    Maybe the problem is that the dll files of the directx belong to the debug directory but i make my program to be build in the release directory ?
    In any case i can't find any solution yet. This is the exception message:
    System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3DX.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.

  • OraOps.dll differences on 64-bit and 32-bit

    Just wanted to post this here, maybe it'll save someone a lot of headaches.
    We have a 64-bit Intel Xeon server running W2K3. We developed on a 32-bit Server using XE Database and XE Client.
    Then, we install the 64-bit oracle client on the prod. server (running Intel Xeon 64-bit)
    The file OraOps.dll exists in both installation, no problem. BUT the 64-bit OraOps.dll file has an entry point called "OpsPrmAllocOpoPrmCtx", whereas the 32-bit OraOps.dll file has an entry point called "OpsPrmAllocPrmCtx"".
    We kept getting an error on the 64-bit box saying "cannot find entry point OpsPrmAllocPrmCtx in file OraOps.dll".
    To fix this, we installed the 32-bit client on the 64-bit server and all worked well.
    Also, we noticed in the 32-bit client there was an option under the Windows Compoonents to install the ODP .Net Provider along with the client install. This option apparently does not exist (yet) in the 64-bit Client installation.
    Increase gray hair = 1,000. Hours of lost sleep = 46.4 Finally finding the solution = priceless.
    Hope this is able to help someone.

    Hello,
    You can cluster heterogeneous JDK across heterogeneous operating systems.
    So yes you can mix 32bit and 64bit JVMs.

  • OraOps.dll and Multiple Oracle Homes

    Hi All,
    I am writing a simple Windows Forms client app that is trying to connect to an Oracle 8.1.7 database. I am having a problem connecting with ODP.NET. The error I get is as follows:
    "An unhandled exception of type 'System.DllNotFoundException' occurred in oracle.dataaccess.dll
    Additional information: Unable to load DLL (OraOps.dll)."
    I have gone through these forums and tried everything that the various people suggested:
    1) I have made sure that process can access the OraOps.dll file (In my program I opened the dll and read a couple of bytes out of it.)
    2) I have installed the 8.1 client into a seperate home from ODP.NET (8 client and OraOLEDB is in D:\Oracle\Ora81, 9 client and ODP.NET is in D:\Oracle\Ora92) I intalled the 8 client first, then the 9 client with ODP.NET.
    3) I have used the Oracle Home Selector to ensure that the Oracle 9 home is current.
    4) I have checked the path that the process is using to ensure that the Oracle 9 home is first in the path, which it is.
    Can anyone think of any other things that might cause this problem? I'm out of ideas. :-(
    Jeremy

    Absolutely...make sure that you use OUI to install the additional Oracle_Homes so that the inventory would be updated (instead of copying over from the existing OHs).
    We have a cluster, wherein we have about 6 different ORACLE_HOMEs (whether it's good idea to have so many OHs is a totally different question though)...and it works fine and it well supported by Oracle. As such, you can both NON-RAC and RAC OHs as well, if you prefer.
    Thanks

  • Where do we need to place DLL files for webutil_c_api

    Hi..
    (I posted this a few days back, but no reply..buddies, help me plz)
    In Forms 10g while using webutil_c_api to call c functions,
    where do we need to place the DLL files. Is it enough if we place in the AS or do we need to place the dll files in all the client machines.
    Please clarify me.
    Thnx and Regards
    Sriram

    Hi Sriram,
    Yes, you can place the dlls in the same folder as d2kwut60.dll. Also, for your dll
    to get donwloaded to the client, you need to configure the webutil.cfg file and add an entry for your own dll , after the webutil dll entries, as shown below:
    install.syslib.0.7.1=jacob.dll|94208|1.0|true
    install.syslib.0.9.1=JNIsharedstubs.dll|65582|1.0|true
    install.syslib.0.9.2=d2kwut60.dll|192512|1.0|true
    install.syslib.0.user.1=scanner.dll|192512|1.0|true

  • HT1222 I got an error message on the last Itunes update about a dll file not installing. I would need to reinstall the enire Itunes program. If I do that, will I lose my library?

    Received error message during last itunes upgrade. Said dll file did not install. I should reinstall whole itunes program. If I figure out how to do that, will I lose my library?

    Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • Dependency list in project shows 2 DLL files. What do I need to do when creating a stand-alone executable file to ensure that it is included?

    When the executable that I created is run on a stand-alone machine, a search is instantly launched to locate the missing *.DLL files along with about 20 other sub vi files from an example vi file that I downloaded last week.  Once the exampe vi was open, I modified the block diagram and the front panel and then I resaved it with a new name.
    The missing sub-vi files are the same files that I saw listed in the Dependencies list of the project along with the 2 DLL files.  This problem shouldn't be happening because I included the top level vi file that contains the sub-vi files into the source files list under the Start-Up VIs window of the application properties.  What needs to be done to make this stand-alone executabale complete?

    OK...So it's not a simple as clicking the mountian icon  above and inserting the location of the picture file on my PC huh?  It works on my end just fine, but I understand you all don't see it.
    I really don't understand why this is such a complicated process in this discussion forum, but your explanation isn't working for me.  SO, I'm going to write what I understand to be the proper procedure and you tell me if it's wrong.
    Attach my image using the Browse button below.  That makes sense.  Done that.
    Edit my post - Edit it?  How is typing this message in the window any different from editing my post???  Are you sugesting that I Edit As HTML(http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/post?board.id=170&message.reply_to_id=244152#) using the shortcut in the lower right hand side of the frame???  I not, please explain a different way.
    I right clicked the adress in the window under the Attachment  heading below the lower left hand side of the frame, copied it and pasted it into the Script Prompt: dialog pop-up that appeared when I clicked on the mountain icon in the tools menu.  By the way,
    Now I see my image in the post just before I sent it.
    Don't you see it now?
    As for the DLL file - the ONLY way I can find the DLL file that I need is to refresh the dependencies list in my project.  As I explained in my previous posts, those two DLL files came with an example vi that i downloaded from the NI website last week and they must have been embedded inside of the example because I didn't create them myself and I've since resaed the original example vi as one that's been renamed by myself.  In doing so, I presume that the DLL file was inherited from the original example vi file to my own vi file.  However, that's clearly not the case because every time I run the executable file that I created with the renamed example vi file in my project, it immediately launches a searchfor the DLL files that it claims are missing!!!  SInce the DLL files are ONLY visible in the dependencies list, I can't transfer them to the Dynamic VI and Support files window in the Application Builder.  SO, I drag them up the Source Files tree in the Application Builder to the top of the tree where the Start-up vi is located and then I can move them to the Dynamic VI and Support Files window.  Those DLL files don't appaer inthe top level of the tree where the Start-up vi appears before I move it to the Start-up vi window of the Application Builder.  I'll try it again.

  • Why Do I Need to Upload dll Files for Lightroom 5

    I had a problem with the beta version of Lightroom 5 and was told to upload to dll files (msvcr80 and msvcr100),  It worked fine after that.  However, today I downloaded Lightroom 5, after deleting the beta version, and it did not work.  I went back and added the two dll files and it works fine.  Does anyone have an idea why the program does not come with these file or why I am having to do this.  It must be a common but not universal problem.  Just curious.
    Doug

    My understanding (which could well be wrong!) is that those two DLLs are in fact a standard part of the Operating Sytem, i.e. they appear in the Windows libraries. Lightroom (along with potentially other applications) makes use of these and so requires them to be working correctly. It looks first in its own installed libraries for them, and if not there it looks in the WIndows libraries. All well and good normally, however there was a recent spate of those "0Xc00007b" failures which were caused by some other application (iLivid seemed to be the main culprit) corrupting those two DLLs. The "Fix" from Adobe was simply to provide fresh copies of the two corrupt DLLs, which you then inserted into Lightroom 4's specific installation library. So now that you have Lightroom 5 installed, it too needs those DLLs dropped into its own specific installation library.
    Note that you'll possibly need to keep doing it every time you install a dot release update.....or go and fix those DLLs in the Windows libraries. Obviously Adobe doesn't see it as their job to fix Operating System problems, so they've just provided a workaround for now.

    The website should get created if all the roles in IIS 7.0 are installed. Therefore, please try to install the IIS 7.0 by selecting

  • Problem registering CremePie.dll file

    Hi All,
    I am working with signature capture in standard MAM. I am trying to run the standard signature capture functionality in PDA. I have deployed mamsignapplet.cab and
    signaturecapture.cab files in side WEB-INF\signature folder.
    In SAP Note 897289, I read that we need to register the some dll files in PDA, so that the browser will supports the applets in it.
    Also in the same document it was mentioned like
    For CrEme versions 3.25, 3.26 and 3.27a there is an acknowledged by NSICOM
    bug as plug-in registration link contains wrong dll path for those
    versions. Copy/Paste both "Register/Unregister Plug-In" files from
    \Windows\CrEme\Demos to your desktop with the help of ActiveSync, open both
    dlls and change the existing line with the following
    \windows\regsvrce.exe \windows\creme\bin\CremePie.dll.
    I have copied Register Plugin/Unregister Plugin files to my desktop and  tried to edit them. But they saved as shorcut and I could not edit them. I have checked the properties of that file. There file type is Shortcut and target is \windows\regsvrce.exe CremePie.dll.
    Can any body please tell me how to edit this file or can we create this file.
    Regards
    Murthy

    Hi,
    for that I use the software "total commander" from http://www.ghisler.com/ running directly on  the PDA. This gives me the ability to edit the file on the PDA.
    Please see if REGSVRCE.EXE is available in your windows directory. Some verndors do not deliver that file, cause it is not supported as standard CE file. If this is the case, download the .NET SDK for CE. This installs the file on the PC in the WINCE500 directory - you can download it from there to the device then.
    I hope this helps to solve the issue!

  • Report on a .DLL file

    I need to run an inventory report on a specific .DLL file for all
    workstations at my site. I need the date and version of this file. How
    do I get ZEN inventory to grab and store this information to the
    database? Or if it's already in the database how do I report on it?
    ZENworks 6.5 SP2, workstations running ZFDAgent 6.5 SP2.
    Thanks.

    Depends on your setup.
    But use the following instructions as a basic guide
    1. Open "Inventory Service_SERVERNAME" Object
    2. Tab "Software Inventory Configuration - Software Configuration"
    3. File Software-Mapping -> Edit Table
    4. Insert -> Add the appropiate details to identifiy the version.
    4.1 You need to know the filename and exact size kb for the min and max
    size fields
    4.2 You need to know what version matches each file size, thats how its
    identified
    4.3 Insert new entries based on filename and file size for each version
    of the dll.
    Hope this helps.

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new iTunes but it still will not work.  I keep getting the error mesage relating to MSVCR80.dll, the installation error 7 (windows error 126). I have tried moving and removing the dll files including the QTMovie dll

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes 15 times regarding the latest release and still get the MSVCR80.dll and Error 7 (Windows error 126) messages.
    I have tried moving the dll filesincluding the QTMovie dll file to now avail.  Can anyone please help, as I am sure you all, like me, have thousnads of dollars and songs invested in this system and need a fix fast.  Can anyone please help???

    Dear avid iTunes users - I have cracked it!!!
    The response from Apple/iTunes was extremely poor and did not solve the problem.
    I have a look in msconfig and observed which applications/services were running - one of which was the 'Apple Application Support'
    So ... I had a look at what was in this folder and found the APS Daemon.exe file causing all the trouble.
    So ... I simply deleted the Apple folder found in C:\program files\common files\.
    I did a restart and did not get the MSCVCR80.dll or Error 7 (windows 126) error messages.
    I reinstalled the current version of iTunes (for the 16th time!)
    Hey presto!!!
    IT WORKED :-O Woooohooo!!!
    So ... to all those smarty-pants boffin-brianiacs out there (apple/iTunes): this is how you do it!!!!!!!!!!
    YOU DO NOT NEED TO UNINSTALL ALL THE APPLE/QUICKTIME OR RELATED PROGRAMS - JUST DELETE THE APPLE FOLDER IN THE C:\PROGRAM FILES DIRECTORY.
    Nuff said.
