I need show all tables beloinging to a particular database

Helpers,
Please forgive me for my slow uptake on this issue. I am not an oracle so, please bear with me.
I need to list all tables belonging to a particular database and a particular owner.
For instance, database name= MRTOP and owner = MROWNER.
I am using following code:
select owner, table_name from mrtop
where owner=' MROWNER'
I keep getting "table or view" doesn't exist.
I know they do exist. So, where am I screwing up here?

that's precisely the problem.
I still get:
dba_tables: table or view does not exist
and yes, i am conected to that database

The connectivity between Java and the Database is fine, but My problem is that I want to display ALL Table names of the Database:
For example: if the database is save in a file Data.mdb and if the database contain tables: Customer, Employee, Sales. I want a way to get those names!. I tried to excute a query "Desc Data" but it gave me SQL error sayas that you are allowed to use Select, Insert, Delete and Update keyword only.

i.e. I am able to find out table name and view name in sql server ...like

Here you're passing only the join table t_pa0001_pa0002. If you want to display the other tables as well, then u must have an internal table that has the columns of all the 3 tables. Then u need to buil;d the fieldcatalog accordingly and then display that table,

Unable to show all table rows

Hi all.
I created a query that return all the rows form a table.
the number of rows in the table is 190.000 and I only see 65000.
Is there a parameter to control that??

I am also facing the same issue. I have added the same filter in instanceconfig. But my data volume is around 1 million rows. I changed the query limit filter in the RPD also . The query returns exact rows from database but the queries returned to client are only 3. could you please throw some light on this. Following is the query.

How do i find the total number of fields within all tables in one of my databases

I'm in the process of creating some "gee whiz" metrics for one of my applications and want to find the total number of columns contained in its database. Is there a stored procedure to get this information that would save me the effort
of opening each of my 66 tables and counting the columns? I also have the same question for my 138 views. Thank you for any ideas you care to offer...............Phil Hoop

BCC FlexUI fails to show all Assets involved in a Project

In the BCC for ATG 10.0.2 there are 2 different UIs with which to configure a CA Project; The Flex UI is accessed via the Merchandising Menu and the Workflow UI is accessed via "Browse Projects" and the "To Do List". I have observed that the FlexUI consistently shows less assets than the project actually has. The Workflow UI always shows all the assets. In particular, the Flex UI never seems to see any Products that have been changed or added in my Project, only Catageories, SKUs, and Catalogs. What's up with that? Is this an ATG Flex UI bug?

I dont think assignment of task through merchandising UI was available in previous versions of ATG also.
Assignments of tasks can be done only through Content Administration > Browse project or through the To Do list on home page.
In Flex UI you can only proceed till the deployment step and FlexUI will force you to go to home page when you click deploy to staging/production. This is how FlexUI works. Nothing can be done for it.
So this is how assignment will work in this case; Author will assign the Ready to Review task to a person A. Person A will go to flexUI and review the asset changes, move the project one step ahead and come back to home page and assign next task to person B. Assignment will not be possible through FlexUI
And regarding assets to be seen in FlexUI; you can see you added assets when you click on the project name on the top of the FlexUI screen. I have seen all my assets in the project and never got any issue with the asset count mismatch, though never tried with too many assets(just below 20). I dont know if it fails to show assets which are large in number.
But definitely it shows products,categories,skus etc.

I dont think you can count the number of tables, maybe you mean number of rows in a table..If so, you need to make a method in your class and query to your database. Something like this:

Display all groups assigned to a particular group

Can anybody post the details for How to display all groups assigned to a particular database?
I am wondering that there is no command available to do the above. We are able to display all the groups using "Display groups all" but how can i know all the groups assigned to a particular database?

I'm not sure what version you are on, but have you tried using the export security_file maxL command? You could also use the API to get the security.

Javascript alert when showing all rows of a huge table ( 2000 rows)

Everything runs smoothly, but i have a problem if the table has lots of rows: i get a javascript warning that a script has been running for too long. (The alert goes: "Stop the execution of the script?" the usual javascript alert you get when a script runs for too long)
What i want to achievt is that, if the table contains a lot of rows, the page takes a lot of time to load, but with no javascript involved (it's just a normal slow page).
It seems that in some way the rows of the table are fetched by javascript and since the call is synchronous, it trigger the alert.

has anyone an idea onwhat could i do to have the table load all the rows from the server but withouth the alert?

Sorry i haven't explain it well...
the app is used to replicate entire databases, or agrupations of tables, from one database to another and it will have to be vendor independent... I'm trying with DB2, Oracle and MySQL. Later i will test it with more.
Then I couldn't use vendor dependent SQL neither configuration parameters. Also I prefer to make the import logging the actions: for restoring purposes; maybe the user will have the option but defaults to the ohter.
I'm thinking about some "strange" query SQL Stardard, like delete from table where (select .... using some kind of counter....

seems <bc4juix:Table ....> tag by default shows the rows one by
one. I just need to know any attribute/way to change the default
to show all rows, or more than one row in each iteration.

For example, if you place Region in the pages area, a Region drop-down list allows the user to select a particular region, and see the data for only that region, rather than seeing all the Regions,But by default its not showing "ALL" option in the drop down list ,rather than doing that its showing result for only 1 region by default.
And an other problem with this pages area is, if we palce the multiple attributes in the Pages area in the pivot table, the (Fields)result is showing in vertically, the attributes 1 by 1(Every attribute in a new line) ,rather than showing like that, is there any way to show the results in horizantally?(We want to have it as a seperate drop drown list for every field horizantally not as a concatenated list).

ALV GRID Report is not showing all records which is in internal table

hi all,
have one doubt. please clarify me. ALV Report is working fine since long tiem. But suddenly this report is showing few records only for the given input.   Example:   it_main table have 50 records, but output is showing only 10 records only. (we have not made any modifications in this report).
temporarily i have given excel output file from it_main table. excel file is showing all records.
here it_main have all the records. but output is showing few records only. it is not showing any error. i have tested with REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY function also. but it also showing same results(few records only.)
please give me some idea.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
