I need to design a form that can accept images from the responder. Can this be done?

I'm designing an award application/submission form, and the respondent will need to include photos in the application. Is this possible in Adobe FormsCentral?

We've just added support for uploading files in our latest release (12/5/2011). You can read more about the feature here:

Please try it out and give us your feedback.

    Ok, so I just worked out that itunes communicates through your browser so it's a cookie in the browser not PC direct that fixes this.  Bit of a convoluted route but for me it was IE>Internet setting>privacy>sites, then allow all activity from apple.com/itunes.

    The error is saying - make sure your computer date is set correctly and that it accepts cookies from the itunes stores. I made sure safari can accept cookies and computer date is set. I have 10.5.8 with Itunes 8

  • Form Validation - Can this be done?

    I have a form with several dropdown menus.
    One dropdown menu has two options yes - no
    Depending on which option is selected, i want the following
    'text' field to
    either be greyed out (if 'no' is selected) or editable (if
    'yes' is
    selected).
    Can this be done and if so, how?
    Thanks
    Andy

    Hi Paul
    Just tried your code and it does disable the text box no
    matter what was
    selected from the previous dropdown.
    How do i get the code to only disable the text box if the
    dropdown has a
    particular vaue? i.e. "no"
    it would also be great if you could point me in the right
    direction
    regarding the use of css to grey the text box out.
    Much Appreciated.

  • I can't remove a bookmark of a form that has been removed from the original database it was on.

    Local county website removed a form students use and placed it in another location of its website. I had the form bookmarked in its old location. Now I can't remove the bookmark for the form at its old location. Also, I'm not sure if the old/new location has anything to do with my inability to remove or delete that bookmark.

    Would you check the Bookmarks sidebar, and look for there in your groupings, and also do a search on it there. From the location bar use and internal search by not hitting "Enter" and include a space delimited asterisk ("*") to restrict to bookmarks.
    The Bookmarks Menu (menu) often lags behind, especially when you have lots of changes.
    I don't use the Bookmarks *menu* to look for bookmarks. I like the organization and faster scrolling of the bookmarks sidebar.
    Restarting Firefox will probably fix the Bookmarks *menu*
    If you want to play with it you can try these, but I don't make a lot of bookmark changes in a session that it would bother me that much.
    * creating a bookmarks backup and then restore it via Bookmarks Library List ("Ctrl+Shift+B") > Import and Backup > Backup --- then restore that backup.
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf

  • I just want a simply way to access bookmarks, such as a drop down menu without the need to go through several menus, can this be done?

    I would like one point from the main menu, to drop down my bookmarks, much like is provided with IE and earlier versions of Firefox. Currently I must click on Firefox, click on Bookmarks, and then the drop down appears. This is a hassle. I added the Bookmark Toolbar, but all that does is shows me the Most Visited sites.

    Use the Bookmarks Toolbar
    * https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Bookmarks%20Toolbar
    -> press '''CTRL + SHIFT + B''' to open '''Bookmarks Library'''
    * on the left-side of this window, open ''Bookmarks Toolbar'' and ''Bookmarks Menu''
    * Drag your Bookmarks (files and folders) from ''Bookmarks Menu'' and Drop them on the ''Bookmarks Toolbar''
    * close the Library window
    Check and tell if its working. See the link for further Adding and Arranging Bookmarks in your Bookmarks Toolbar.

  • How do I cancel a download (that is in progress) from the app store?

    I have a "Xcode for snow leopard" download that I obviously don't need anymore. I want it to be gone from the app store, but I don't want to download all the 4.9GB to my harddrive. How can I cancel it?

    Hello there, DB8.
    The following Knowledge Base article offers up the stpes for canceling a download from Mac App Store:
    Mac App Store: Buy, download, and install apps
    Pause, resume, or cancel an app download
    To pause or resume a download in App Store, in the toolbar, click Purchases, find the app in the list, and then click Pause or Resume.During the download, the amount downloaded and estimated download time remaining are shown.
    While installing, the estimated time remaining is shown.
    To cancel a download in App Store, in the toolbar, click Purchases, find the app in the list, hold down the Option key, and then click Cancel.
    To pause or resume a download in Launchpad, click the app icon.
    To cancel a download in Launchpad, hold down the app icon until all the icons start to jiggle, and then click the app’s delete button (x).
    To cancel a download in the Finder, click the app's delete button (x).
    If a download is interrupted because you lose your Internet connection or quit App Store, App Store starts the download again when the Internet connection is restored or the next time you open App Store.
    To start downloading any apps you purchased but haven’t successfully downloaded, choose Store > “Check for Unfinished Downloads.”
    Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

    Hi! I have a Creative suite Design Standard 9 Adobe program and I am attempting to make a wizzard form that can be made into an entry form for a competition. So I need to 1. Make the form into a question and answer form that Participants may fill out. 2. make it possible for them to download it via a link on our website 3. make it possible for them to save the info they have written into the form and mail it to the mail we have supplied in the entry form and 4. make it possible for them to put in a jpg. as part of the entry for and lastly 5. make it possible for us to copy paste the document and use it on other platforms. How do I do this - is it at all possible with adobe?

    Those requirements are go way beyond what PDF forms can do and are meant for, some of them would require involving other programs or are mutually exclusive and contradictory. You are wasting your time even thinking about doing this as an "offline" PDF form. Simply sign up for an online forms/ survey service like FormsCentral or Surveymonkey.

  • PDF forms that can be printed but not saved - possible?

    Does anyone know if it is possible to do the following:
    - First of you create PDFs that you would put on to a web site.
    - The user would then fill in fields on this PDF form when they access it.
    - This would create a completed form which the user could then print but they would be unable to save it.
    Is this possible?
    Someone mentioned Adobe LiveCycle Designer to me. Can this be used to achieve all this? Or what software would be needed or would you recommend to do this?
    Thanks.

  • Can I make a PDF form that can be filled/saved in Illustrator/InDesign without Acrobat Pro?

    Can I make a PDF form that can be filled out and (more importantly saved) in Illustrator or InDesign without having to use Adobe Acrobat Pro?
    I only have Adobe Reader XI. Do I need to purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro in order to make a PDF form that can be filled out and saved by others? or is it possible to do this solely through Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Adobe Reader?

    InDesign can export to a filable form, assuming you add the fields in InDesign (6/CC) and export as an interactive PDF. You can't create a form with Reader or Illustrator. You also can't Reader-enable with anything other than Acrobat, so Reader users will have to use version 11 in order to save a filled-in form.

  • Is it possible to create a standard form that can be emailed to anyone and once filled out by the receiver, have a button that the receiver clicks and the form is encrypted and attached an email back to the sender and a preset admin password would open it

    Hello Graphicsguy123,
    You would need to first create the form ( or Widget in EchoSign) first to generate a url which you can paste it in the email being sent to customers. You would need to make sure you have a Document Cloud Enterprise Premium account in order to create a Widget. If you don't have the account, you can use the trial version to test it. • Best way to create a form that can be emailed and also secured down.

    Hi,
    I work in a manufacturing company that tests each raw material as it comes in the door. The results from the tests are currently handwritten on a template form that is printed first. The sheets are then sent to another department who types up the results and saves them individually as a Word document. There is a HUGE paper trail and increased margin for error. Not to mention the sheer time!
    I am trying to streamline the process is a little by creating a PDF form in which the results can be entered and the form emailed to the other department. I know how to create the form and add a "submit" button which opens up the Outlook client. However, I want to make sure the form cannot be saved by the lab personnel, instead I want to give them the abilty to enter the data and email.Thisis an interim solution until a proper lab management system can be put into place.
    What is the best practice around something like this? Any other suggestions or tips will be appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Can I somehow collect the data in another software such as Excel?
    I would still need the PDF form completed and emailed over but if I can collect the data externally, that would be nice.

  • Is there a way that you can have two different text fields (email, phone) that one at least one of them must be completed before submitting the form? Can it be done using javascript in the validation tab? if so, how?

    Is there a way that you can have two different text fields (email, phone) that one at least one of them must be completed before submitting the form? Can it be done using javascript in the validation tab? if so, how?

    Here is one solution:
    // mouse up action for submit button;
    function GetField(cName) {
    // get field object for cName field with error checking;
    var oField = this.getField(cName);
    if(oField == null) app.alert("Error accessing field named " + cName + "\nPleae verigy field name, spelling and capitalizeation.", 1, 0);
    return oField;
    } // end GetField function;
    var oPhone = GetField("phone");
    oPhone.required = oPhone.value == oPhone.defaultValue;
    var oEmail = GetField("email");
    oEmail.required = oEmail.value == oEmail.defaultValue;
    if(oPhone.required && oEmail.required) {
    app.alert("Missing required fields.", 1, 0);
    } else {
    app.alert("Submitting form", 3, 0);
    // additional code for submission;

  • Create a fillable form that can be saved by others

    Hi, I'm working in Adobe Acrobat X Pro, I'm on a PC
    I know that you go to File>Save As...>Reader extended pdf>
    After that I get "Enable Adding Text in Documents (that are not fillable form)...
    I then get a form that is using a "typewriter" tool." That's not what I want.  I want a fillable form that can be saved by the person filling out the form and not have to use the typewriter tool.  I don't like the way that looks or works.  I hope there is someone that can help.  I used to be able to do this and don't understand what has changed.
    Thanks!
