The fafsa.gov site does not currently support Firefox newer than version 3.6.x. That is their choice.

I have a an older IMAC as a second computer. I replaced an older version of Firefox with the new update. I had to do this because Firefox gave me a message that the older version would no longer work. The new version 4.0 will not open even after it is put in the applications folder.
