Creative Cloud products don't use serial numbers.  Simply log-in with your Adobe ID (email) and password.

i need to find my serial number for my lost ipod 5 casue i dont have it

Unfortunately, if the iPod was never backed up to iTunes, then the information is lost. But if you have synced the iPod with your iTunes account, you may be able to extract the serial number from there.

  • I need to retrieve my serial number so I can sign into my Adobe Creative Cloud programs.

I have my Adobe ID and password, however, I need to retrieve my serial number so I can sign into my Adobe Creative Cloud programs. It has been 10 months since I used Illustrator and I need to update my resume on that program. I would appreciate your help.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

New computer: How do I find the serial number so I can use final cut?

On the assumption you want to install Final Cut Express (and not something from the app store), you find the serial number on on the documentation that came with the FCE disks. If you do not have the documentation, you are out of luck.

I just bought a new macbook pro and my CS6 migrated, but now when I open existing documents, it launches a free trial version. There doesn't appear to be a way to enter my serial number or communicate that I simply have a new computer. HELP! There is no customer support for this. I can't believe what a poor service company Adobe is!!

The problem was that you migrated CS6. Unfortunately, migration doesn't work because it doesn't move all the files.
First, you'll need to use the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove the components that were installed:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Second, you should install a clean copy of CS6. Here is a link:

    Hi,
After writing into serial port, the same message gets bounced back into the Inqueue also. If anyone know how to avoid this, please reply.
    Thanks,
    Ganesh

If you disconnect the cable going to the serial device, do you still get the echo? If so you have something going on in the port setup. If disconnecting the cable stops the echo then the device you're talking to is doing it - which would be my bet. One thing to check is whether this might not be normal operation. I have seen devices that if a command was successful, it simply echo'd back the command string you had sent. Also many serial devices have setting for specifying whether they are to echo commands.

  • Ipad has been stolen. Need to find the serial number

When I went to the support page and entered my id info, only my iphone 5 information comes up.  I have had my ipad for 6 years. I need to file a police report, but can't find the serial number?

Six years? Since the original iPad was released on April 3, 2010, which is less than four years in the past, your claim of six years is bogus.

  • I need to find my serial number for a unit that I have registered.  It was stolen and I can not find the case it came in.

Where can I find the Serial number if the unit was stolen?

    From an apple support page:
    iTunes
    Connect iPod to your computer.
When iPod appears in iTunes, select it on the left side of the iTunes window under Devices.
Click the Summary tab, and your iPod's serial number will display on screen. For iPod shuffle (1st and 2nd generation), click the Settings tab.
If your iPod is not currently connected to your computer, but has been connected to your iTunes library before, follow these instructions:
Hold down the Control key and choose Help > About iTunes (Windows) or iTunes > About iTunes (Mac).
    Release the Control key.
As the iTunes and QuickTime version information scrolls, you will see the serial number of the last connected iPod as well as the last connected iPhone's serial number and IMEI.
    Tips:
Hold down the Option key (Shift key in Windows) to reverse the scrolling.
Press the Space bar to pause the scrolling.
You can copy this information to the Clipboard and and paste it into a document.
In Mac OS X, choose Edit > Copy (or Command-C).
    In Windows, press Control-C.
Note: In iTunes, when you view the iPod serial number, you can choose Edit > Copy to put the serial number on the Clipboard. You can then paste the serial number into an email or web page (for registration, for example).

I have itunes installed on my home computer and had my ipod sync'd up there...is there a folder that has my serial number or can I call apple and have them retrieve it from my registration some how? Would anyone have a phone number for this type of support?

I am attempting to reload itunes from the disk i got with the ipod. I have not attempted to connect the ipod yet...
