I need to run the IDOCS was created with status 64, Can I do this?
Which transaction can I do this??

Hi Keith
in HCM you could use the Userexit EXIT_SAPLRHA0_006 in enhancement RHALE001.
You can raise an exception
IF sy-subrc = 4
raise OBJECT_NOT_ACCEPTED
else.
endif.

Process the Idoc

Hi All,
I am doing some process through an ABAP program when an idoc status will be in the status of 64. Once i complete the process i wants to post the Idoc from the waiting status 64 in the program.Is there any function module available to post an Idoc from the waiting status?
Could you please let me know how to post the Idoc successfully in the ABAP program?

Its depands on the requirement, to process the Idoc for example you want to post the sales order
1 . Create a function module which reads input from the idoc and call some FM (bapi_salesorder_create) to create a sales order
2. Assign the function module to process code (WE42)
3. Assign the process code in the Partner profile
Include this message type and idoc type in the ale settings
than execute the tcode BD87 , the idoc will be posted

Splitter program for processing the IDOCS with status 64.

Hello folks,
I have a requirement explained below. I am looking for a sample code which could help me to jump start with initial development.
Requirement:
Develop a splitter program which retrieves all the IDCOS with status 64, create and schedule batch jobs with 200 IDOCS each. The splitter program with be scheduled every 15 min.
Restrictions
Only 150 batch jobs can be created at a time.
Estimation
There may be around 36000 IDOCS with status 64 every hour.

Here is the explaination why we require a splitter program.
Using RBDAPP01 parellel processing
Let us assume there are 4 servers A, B, C and D in a server group. If we select RBDAPP01 parellel processing there will be too many RFC calls to the servergroup.
(there are some more RFC calls later on for Order creation for example). As there is a restriction with number of RFC calls, we need to clear other RFC's before making new one. This is making complex and messy.
Using RDBAPP01 serial processing
For the volume of orders getting created each day, it takes a week to process those Idoca created in one day. Hence it is not a good solution.
Splitter program
We spawn 150 batch jobs with 200 records each. This way if we think it takes 20 min for each job to complete...by the end of 20th min we must had processed 30000 idocs.
Hence it is the solution offered.
Srinivas...still this confuses me..but if I am wrong anywhere please correct me.
But your initial response has helped me a lot. Everything was blank to me, ur reply made it clear over the requirement.

Need to change the Idoc Status based on the Text in the Idoc

Hi All,
I have developed Idoc--SOAP Sync Process Scenario Using BPM and Works Perfectly.
I have used STATUS.SYSTAT01 Idoc to capture the Response that is comming from the Webservice.
I have mapped the response Text( Success or Fail) to one of the field in the Response Idoc, this is perfect.
Requirement:
1) If the Response Idoc Field receives Success Text means the Idoc Status shld be in Green Status.
2) If the Respnse Idoc Field Receives FAIL means the Idoc Status shld be in RED Status.
How can i Do this. please suggest me......

YES, I have to Capture the Response from Webservice in SAP R/3 by using STATUS.SYSTAT01 Idoc.
I have mapped the response from webservice to the one of the field in the Idoc.
If this field contains Success as text means the Idoc Status in We05 shld be 53 else it shld be 56
With out changing the FM code, can we use any other process to achieve this???

How much time do I need to process the data

Re. my previous question.
I will be scanning 26 analogue channels at 7 khz into the PCI 6024E using a SCXI 1000 with an 1100 temperature module and the voltage signals going into the 1180 direct feedthrough.
I would like to acquire up to 3 seconds of data at 7 khz on all 26 channels. I then would 'decimate' the 20 thermocouple channels down to a sample rate of about 700 hz from 7 khz and then display the temperature profiles on a chart and then write the data to disk for all 20 channels writing only the reduced number of samples for each channel.
Two of the 7 khz inputs I would do an RMS calculation on and then display the results and also write the results of the RMS to a different file.
The program then needs to
be ready to sample new data again for three seconds.
The computer is a P3 500 MHz with 327 MB ram.
Another part of the question would be suggestions about how to write the program so that we could be sampling new data while the program is processing the old data and writing to disk.

If your question is how long will it take to process the tasks you mentioned, there's really no way to tell. This not only depends on the machine, but how you implement it. Certainly, tasks such as this are possible. In fact, we have a good example program that shows you a good structure using threads and queues.
Running Multiple Tasks in LabVIEW
(Make sure you select the "advanced" VI inside the llb file.) This example puts the three tasks, acquire, analyze, and present into three separate threads so that they are all acting simultaneously. (Which I believe was your question.) In your "analyze" V

Error in processing the idoc

hi,
i modelled a idoc-jdbc scenario and relased an idoc from the r/3 system......but in the message monitoring of the runtimework bench i see an error....the details of the error are as follows
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://hwsapxi:50000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/! call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system XIS with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
The selected virtual host was 0.

Need to process the records that are selected using checkbox in an ALV

Hi ..
I am displaying some data in an ALV using the Parent-child relation, the parent records has a check box which is input enabled.
On click of a button on the toolbar, i need the checked records to be fetched and processed.
Please help me on how to fetch the records that are checked..

normally, based on the idoc types it will get processed. if it is an idoc with master record it will create appropriate master records or if it based for a transaction it will create one.

Parallel processing of the IDOCs through the program RBDAPP01

Hello All,
We are prcoessing the inbound IDOCS using the program RBDAPP01 by scheduling but this processing is taking lot of time to process the IDOCs.
Please let me know how do we improove the performance of this program RBDAPP01 by making use of
parallel processing of IDOCS?I read some documentation in this forum but not understand clearly.
Please give some info regarding this who have already done this requirement earlier.

File to IDOC Scenario: where to import the idoc structure?

Dear all,
I have a short organizational question for you all. I have created a scenario where the MDM server places a file in a FTP directory and XI will take it from there for processing to IDOC towards the SAP system.
During design time I need to import the IDOC structure as the inbound interface for the SAP system.
My question in this situation is: do I import the IDOC into the namespace of the MDM (in which I keep the outbound interface and the mappings) server or do I place it in the namespace of the SAP system?
I ask this because in the latter case the IDOC structure will be the only object in the SAP namespace. If I do not do this, I don't have to create this.
What is the right thing to do from an organizational point of view?

Sender system is a SAP MDM system. For which I will create a SWC called <Company name>_MDM_DEV version 1.0.
For the receiving SAP Enterprise system I will create an additional SWC called <Company name>_SAP_DEV version 1.0.
And thus I do not put any objects under SWCs from the original installed product components.
Then I create a SWC for common objects as IDOCs (to what product does that need to be assigned???)
Then I will put the interface and message types in the corresponding SWCs and put the mappings in the source SWC as our landscape is not that huge.
How's that???
So under which product to create the SWC for common objects is my final question...
I will provide points to you both.

Converting Process order Idoc to Post a Purchase order

Hi,
we have a requirement where we will get a Process order IDOC that is LOIPRO as an inbound IDOC. We need to use the IDOC to create a purchase order.
Can anybody suggest what can be done.
Sender system sends LOIPRO.
Recieving system recieves it and need to post a purchase order rather than a process order.

I need to generate the IDOCs and save them in text format onto an FTP Location specified by the client.
I understand, I need to setup the an TCP/IP RFC Destination and Create a FIle Port Specifying the FTP directory path.

Hi,
Guess it looks like the output is getting proposed but its not getting processed. Check the output type configuration. Check the TIme Settings in the output type configuration.
It is possible to set the Time when the output must be processed. Is it on SAVE or is it set to other settings. If its set to via background job then the background job must be run to process the output types.
Check and let me know if all is fine at the output type configuration.

The IDOC INBOUND function is locking an object

Hi ,
I have created a wrapper bapi around IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT , this is because i need to change the shipment using a BDC. No the problem is that once the control comes out of IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT the locks are still maintained on the shipment.Now is this beacuse i am using WE19 to test the program or will i have manually realease the lock from this. Any pointers with function modules will be helpful.

IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT will be locking the shipment. The lock will not be released until the IDoc has finished processing.
You could remove the lock yourself.
Can you not use a user exit in IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT to provide your solution instead of running a BDC yourself. If your BDC fails how will this error be reported back to the IDoc. You would then not be able to re-process the IDoc either.

LSMW Update Process with IDoc

Hi Experts,
We have an LSMW project to upload to create new activity in the CRM server and it has been working fine. Now we want to modify the project so that the existing data gets "updated" instead of creating a new activity.
My question is..
Is it possible to make data "updates" using LSMW.
I tried adding more fields in the existing project and now i get this error when i try to update. "Activity already exists in the system"
I'd really appreciate your help and inputs.

Hi Mani,
I have gone through your query.
When you use LSMW Idoc method to create the Activity with in the CRM system, you can definitely use the same project to update the Activity details as well. Follow the simple rules below.
1. With the Basic type you have used to create Activity, in the rules for the segments change the task to Update.
2. With this change done, for the segments you need to update the data, change and save them.
3. After all these you can create and process the Idocs so that the activity details are updated.
LSMW can be used to create, update and make changes with in permissible business objects. So definitely this update can be done. I hope this helps.
