I've just been upgraded to an iPhone5. When activating the new device everything was going smoothly, even the syncing in iTunes (I had previously edited a playlist to go in the new handset). A few things did not transfer as planned, such is messages and settings from the Whatsapp application, my video library and some other things that I had to recover manually.
The thing is that I'm finding it more difficult in Whatsapp's case. Although they are sending me codes for me to restore the app to it's formal being, or offering tricks on how to restore my messages from iCloud (which fell to comply in the first instance), I cannot get my messages and settings to display as they were. I found in their help page a link for people who wanted to transfer their massages from the old device to the new one. I went to click in the link that applied to iPhone devices and was redirected to Apple Support site. I hope you can help because I really like my new phone and it would hurt if I had to send it back.

I like to try that, yeah... Sounds interesting enough. Only... d'you mean doing it over iTunes, right? No way! I won't dare putting all the rubbish that was in my iPhone 4 and had to get rid of before syncing iPhone5. Well, just created a new playlist, really but all that junk may get back in... No.

You need to transfer all the music on this old iPod to your iTunes library first before you can sync it to your new iPod.

Assuming some version of Premiere Elements currently on some Windows operating system.
What version of Premiere Elements do you have and on what computer operating system does it exist?
How did you install your version of Premiere Elements on Windows - installation files from an online purchase or
from installation disc from purchase of the product in box packaging?
What installation files or installation disc do you have?
You cannot install Premiere Elements Windows installation files on a Mac computer. If you want Premiere Elements
for your Mac computer, you will need to buy a version of Premiere Elements Mac that is supported by your Mac computer.
If you purchased Premiere Elements Windows in box packaging, it probably came with 2 installation discs, one for
Windows and one for Mac. If that is the case, use the Mac installation disc to try to install the program on your
Mac computer.
But, we need the details from you in order to sort out what is and what needs to be done.

You need to install the software on the new machine the same way you installed it on the old machine. You are allowed to have two activated installations if you would like to retain the original installation as a backup. If not, then you should deactivate it (Help -> Deactivate in any program),

no problem, just re-install pse 9 onto your new computer and activate with your serial number.
if you no longer need the original pse 9 installation, deactivate it (help>deactivate) and then uninstall it.

if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

Lets take first issue first: Apple does not charge a customer to 'keep' iPad access. That does not happen at apple. If you were billed and charged that amount of money from someone you were speaking to over the phone, you were not talking with Apple support. If you need to speak with apple support you are free to call them at 800MYAPPLE and they will talk to you for no more money than 19.00/ support event.

Since this is the second computer you've had this problem with, I recommend you look for answers on the iPhone forum. My thinking is it is an iPhone issue rather than a computer issue (unless it is some software incompatibility).

I just purchased a new Ipad with 4G yesterday and I am trying to transfer my purchased apps from my old Ipad to the new one. We have one Apple ID and one Itunes account that we are using.

Connect the old iPad to your computer, launch iTunes and then sync the iPad. A backup will be created when you sync the iPad and your purchased apps should transfer into your iTunes library on the computer. Just to be safe - manually transfer the purchases as well.
After the sync completes - right click on the iPad name on the left side under "Devices" and select - Transfer Purchases. Let the process complete - and just because I am OCD - I would sync one last time. Eject the iPad and quit iTunes.
Then connect your new iPad to the computer and launch iTunes again. You will be given the opportunity to set up as new or to restore from the backup of the old iPad. Choose backup from the iPad - let the process complete - and then follow that with a sync with iTunes to put all of the content that was on the old iPad onto the new one.
