I need to use the 'Ins' key for reverting x,y & z axis co-ords

Apple selling X3: The Return. However the problem is that the navigational command 'go to' will only take you to x and z coordinates, the pc users then use the 'Ins' key to flip to y axis for the third dimension navigation point. I have tried looking at keyboard mapping but the new aluminium iMac keyboard is an 'Function Key' nightmare compared to earlier version. Any brave soul wishing to answer this one.

The idea that crossed my mind was to tie each of the lines coming from/going to "your device" to two of the DIO lines. Configure one these two ports as input, the other as output.
When you want to read the state of the line, read from the line configured as input. Similarly, use the other port when it is time to write.
Provided "your device" uses tri-state drivers/receivers, or can be used in a "wired-OR" configuration, this may work.

I am using Firefox for Mac (v 3.6.11, Mac OSX 10.6.4) and need to use the Function keys (specificlaly Ctrl-F7) in a web application. I can't seem to get it to work the same as in Firefox on PC.

I am using a web application that requires the use of the F7 key. Actually, to be more precise, I need the functionality that you would get on a PC if you hit Ctrl-F7 while in this web application in Firefox. I have changed the Mac's settings to allow standard use of the function keys (rather things like volume up/down, etc.) However, when I try to use Ctrl-F7 it appears to be using the function that is built into Firefox browser rather than the web application running within Firefox. (FYI, nothing happens when I try Cmd-F7 or Alt/Option-F7 either).

I need help changing the security key for WRT54G2 1.5

I already know the security key on my network, I just need to change it. I don't have 'cisco connect'. I've tried the web based method with the 192.168.1.1 IP and using 'admin' for the password, but that gives me a '401 Not Authorized' error. I've tried using my own security key instead of 'admin' and that doesn't work either. How do I change this. I tried to use the Linsky's knowledgebase and that didn't help. Live Chat won't help unless I'm willing to sign-up for some paid service plan, and there is no way I'm doing that. I've never heard of a company charging their customers just to explain how to do something. All I have is a simple question about how to change the network security key when I already know what it is and there is no problem with the connection. Can anyone help me. PLEASE.

If admin didn’t work, it’s possible that you might have setup a different password to login to the setup of the router when you initially set it up. Since admin and your security key didn’t work when you tried accessing your router page, the other option for you then is to reset the router. Push and hold the reset button on the router using a pin or a paper clip for 30 seconds and unplug the power cord for another 30 seconds. Once the power light goes solid, you may start reconfiguring the settings of the router. For instructions, refer to these links: Setting up a Linksys router with Cable Internet service & Setting up a Linksys router for DSL Internet connection. Once you establish the wired internet connection, you may then start reconfiguring the wireless settings. I downloaded the key(s) and there seems to be an "Authorization Key" and below the list of services the key provides
the serial number of my 5510 and then 5 groups of numbers. I assume the 5 "goups" of numbers is the activation-key.
I tried using putty at the console and typed:
>conf t
conf>activation-key -->and then the series of numbers. I assumed I had to put a 0x in front of them all but itkind of flakes out as i
put i the last number and overwrites a little. What's going on?
Also we have the ASDM, if I can use that it would be simpler. How would I do that?

Activation key is one of those odd commands you enter from enable mode, not from config mode. If you're in enable mode (# prompt), just type "activation key ___" (without quotes, just using your key in place of the ___). Reference.
In ASDM you can enter it via Choose Configuration > Device Management, and then choose the Licensing > Activation Key or Licensing Activation Key pane, depending on your model. Reference.

Need to Transfer the Reco Key for payments stuck for clarification

I have created a lot with a */ wrong contract account in selection field with the payment details in fp25. After saving and posting i am getting a message "Postings made, postprocessing is required". This means that it will not allow me to transfer through FPG4.
In the List item i am getting this message "No assignment of amount 6,000.00- INR possible due to selection specifications".
The problem is that i want this payment to stay in clarification account and pass the bank entry in R/3 by transferring the data.
Please help me in this case.

Firstly, to clear things, the status message "Posting made, postprocessing is required" means that either all items or some items in the payment lot\Check lot has hit the payment clarification worklist (FPCPL) and has not actually hit the account.
There can be many reasons for this status message-
(a) Main\Subs not configured for payments
(b) Clearing settlement rules not configured correctly for incoming payments.
(c) The values from the input file are not getting correctly passed in the payment lot transfer program, RFKKZE00.
Go to t,code FPCPL, give the payment lot no. and execute and then try to post one of the item from the clarification to the account. During posting, you will definately get some error which you can use as a start point for your further analysis.
Finally,when you are posting a query can you open a new thread instead of using an existing answered one.?

When I press F1 or any of the other F keys it does what the symbol says on the key (volume/skip track etc).

Do the following:
1. Fire up System Preferences
2. Select Keyboard & Mouse
3. Select the Keyboard tab.
4. Tick the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" box.
That's it. You have now reversed the default use of the function keys. If you need to increase/decrease sound, brightness etc then press 'fn' plus the appropriate function key.

Using the Escape key in simulations and assessments

I have recently recorded a simulation/assessment that needs to use the Escape key to close a pop-up window and returns to the main application window. The recording has not been an issue; however, using Escape with failure messages is proving to be tricky. Here's what I have discovered while resording my sim/assess, along with my questions:
When I press Escape, Captivate captures this keystroke as a shortcut attached to a Click Box. This works on the assessment side, but fails to produce a failure message on the assessment side when the user does not press the Escape key.
I need to produce a failure message when the user does not press Escape.
Can I storethe unicode value of Escape in a TEB variable and then use an if . . . else statement to either advance to the next slide (success action) or produce a caption that mimics a failure caption? If so, how would I write this item?
Could I use a Loss of focus trigger instead?
Does Captivate have a variable that records a unicode value (Something like CPKeyPressedValue"?
Are there any other alternatives?

In the case of buttons and clickbox objects, where clicking is allowed, the failure is normally registered when the user CLICKS OUTSIDE the button or click box. The evaluation of Success/Fail happens on the click.
In the case of a Text Entry Box, the interactivity is all about what the user enters into the text field and whether or not it is correct/incorrect when compared to approved answer text. The main purpose of the TEB object is not centered on the clicking of the button that accompanies the text field. The button just provides a way to trigger the Success/Failure evaluation of the user interaction with the text field.
Since you have deselected Allow Mouse Click for your click box, you've effectively made it mandatory to use keystrokes to trigger the Success/Failure evaluation of the object. So clicking outside the box is no longer going to do anything because Allow Mouse Click is off. You'll get a failure message on this click box now for many (but not all) keystrokes that are not the one assigned.
By the way, using the Escape key as a keystroke if you Preview the project in Captivate just shuts down the preview (as you've probably already found out).

How do I delete Windows 7 from Paralells so that I can use the Product Key on a different computer?

Now, I was able to install Windows 7 on my computer but I cannot activate it, since I can only use the Product Key for one computer. In IMAQ vision 6.0, NI provide the circular grid for system calibration.But now for some reasons,we need to use the square grid for calibration.Could the square grid be used with the calibration functions in the IMAQ vision for system calibration? What special things do we need to consider when we use the square grid for calibration?

Are you talking about the layout of the points that make up the grid, or the shape of the points, or something else?
Using dots in a rectangular grid with regular X and Y spacing is the standard grid for the NI calibration routines.
I don't think the shape of the dots is critical. They could be small squares instead of circles.
If you are talking about making a grid using lines instead of dots, like a tic-tac-toe board, I think you will have problems with the NI routines. You could probably do some processing on the grid image to reduce it to dots at the intersections, but it doesn't seem like it would be worth the effort. I would just use a grid made of dots instead.
If this doesn't help, explain your problem more clearly.

Could a self save from premiere cause the problem? By this i don't mean the autosave.
Autosave is the only kind of 'self save', and is not likely to 'cause' project corruption.

So i wondered how he did it
The second question came from the fact that my last save was from 17 minutes after i left my studio. And i am not talking about an autosave. It was the main save of the corrupted videofile. And since i did not do it myself, the only option left is that Premiere did it? Or that premiere does not use the internal Mac clock and is on a different time. Which is not the case (just tested).

No you don’t need to uninstall iPhoto but are you trying to edit a photo from the iPhoto Library?
If so export a copy from iPhoto to the desktop and then open that copy in the Elements editor.
