I no longer recieve email notification on topic subscriptions

I used to receive email notification for topics I subscribe, or post to.
This has stopped, and I have changed nothing in my settings. I went back and looked and I have send email immediately selected, but I still receive no notification by email.

Also I am having problems with some other settings, I changed my settings to view 50 per page and I still get only 10, I have tried to change this SEVERAL times and I still get no change.

Email notifications of Subscriptions, has been problematic for quite some time, as evidenced by these Search Discussions Results.
There are numerous other members of  Discussions who are having the same problem, and have previously posted regarding the issue.
There has been a great deal of maintenance activity, going on in the past month or more. I don't know if this has caused this problem or not, but hopefully, this issue will eventually be corrected.
For the time being, if you click on My Subscriptions, you should be able to discern which Topics have new content, as they will be marked with a .
Regarding your other My Settings issue, after you have made the desired changes, are you clicking on Save, at the bottom of the page?

Recieving email notifications for classes

Heya all,
Ok i have a adobe connect pro account and i hold classes everyday and 2 timezones so my appointments are alot.I have so many projects that i need to be reminded via email when a class is going to start .........either a notification on the day or a time frame you can choose...a setting that you can choose when you recieve a notification via email prior to the class....i can not find anything in the settings to activate such a feature...the only notifications i can find are for errors etc............also because the net is global why isnt there an option to set a timezone in the invitations?....i meen if iam for example in australia and want to send an invitation to someone in the states..the current settings will send the timezone thats default for the invitation...........i think the ability to set a timezone or multiple timezones of choice for invitations is important...................but definetly if there is a setting to recieve email notifications of classes for the day could someone let me know?.....because at the moment iam having to use google calender for this and it would be nice to have eveything in one app.....thanks

First, as to the calendaring issue, you are doing this in the best way possible. This may change with Connect 9, but that is hearsay at this point. So, unfortunately, a calendar external to Connect with links to the class that will be in use is the best way to achive the notifications or reminders that you are looking for.
Second, for the time zone question, the event will show in the time zone for the user(s) accessing it. Since your Connect ID is set to your local time zone, when you create an event it puts it in that time zone. If people then use the events module to register, the system will send them an invite with an ical attachment, if you leave it on, that should associate to the correct time zone on their local calendar. One relatively simple solution is to edit the text on the confirmation email to list the equivalent time for multiple time zones across the world.
For Example:
Time of class: 8P AEST (GMT + 10), 10A GMT, 6A EDT (GMT -4)
This way people can associate their time zone to the appropriate time for the class.

HT1277 After recently upgrading my desktop I can no longer recieve emails from my IMAP account it continues to come up with password incorrect yet I have not changed it - HELP!

Since it is affecting all your devices also, try going to the e-mail web site and seeing if you can log in there. Who is the e-mail provider?
Try deleting the pass word from Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.
If that doesn't work, try deleting and adding back the e-mail account.

How do I set up so I can recieve email notifications from my sky account

Looking to find out how to recieve notification on my iPad from my sky email account

1. Open the Settings application on your device's home screen.
2. Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Add Account....
4. Select Microsoft Exchange. OS 5.0+ now allows multiple Exchange accounts.
Enter Account Info
5. In the Email field, enter your full Sky email address.
6. Leave the Domain field blank.
7. Enter your full Sky email address as the Username.
8. Enter your Sky password as the Password. This is the password you used when you first created your Sky account (My Sky/Skyid etc).
9. Tap Next at the top of your screen.
9a. Choose Cancel if the Unable to Verify Certificate dialog appears.
10. When the new Server field appears, enter m.google.com. I know this is m.google, but it works with Sky email because Sky email is basically the same as google email.
11. Press Next at the top of your screen again.
12. Select the services (Mail, Calendar, and Contacts) you want to sync.
13. Unless you want to delete all the existing Contacts and Calendars on your phone, select the Keep on my iPhone option when prompted. This will also allow you to keep syncing with your computer via iTunes.
You can use the same setup to add a google mail email account has a Microsoft Exchange account.
I can confirm that PUSH works on the iPhone with the above instructions. I have sent an email to my google email address and also my Sky email address and both are pushed through IMMEDIATELY.
Or yeah..... Don't forget to enable PUSH in Settings/mail, contacts, calenders section on the iPhone. Click on FETCH NEW DATA and switch PUSH on.

Hi - This has been solved with the help of Oracle support.
The problem is that OEM is delivered with Alert log filters enabled, you need to customize the filter.
1) Go to the home page for your instance Targets/databases/choose database
2) Under diagnostic summary, click the link for alert log (the link is actually the date that OEM last found an alert in the log)
3)this will display a list of all the errors in the alert log
4) scroll down to the bottom of the page
choose link "Generic Alert Log Error Monitoring Configuration"
5)blank out the "Alert log Filter Expression"
6)In Alert Threshold for both crritical and warning change it to ORA-*
This should now email all the alert log errors, as I discover errors that I want to ignore I will tweak the filter condition. You need to do this on every target database, the alert log is only verified every 15 mins by OEM (this is not adjustable until Release 2).
You also need to make sure in your notification rules that you have "Generic Alert Log Error"
P.S. You can generate an alert log error (for testing purposes) with the command "alter tablespace system end backup;"

You're telling me! I made the mistake of clicking on "receive email notifications" for every community so ended up with about 300 emails! But of course it was a website problem, not my settings.To top it all, as soon as I deleted all the emails, the Wi-Fi on my W995 decided it had enough and couldn't even find my router in the same room.I've just handed it in for a warranty repair (hopefully) as it's less than 3 months old and no amount of troubleshooting (update service, soft reset, hard reset,update service no 2, phone repair and update service no 3) could fix it.They say it comes in threes....

No email notification when a thread is updated

I noticed that since weeks i am no longer receiving email notifications of thread updates.
I checked the settings in my profile and apparently they should be delivered immediately.
I also checked the spam folder without success, so it looks like these email notifications are nowhere.
For instance, i created two threads in the last days and in no case i received an email when a reply was posted.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem lately?

Forum fails to deliver email notifications

I am no longer receiving email notifications from the Photoshop Forum, even though my settings are unchanged. Why not? How am I supposed to know when someone responds to my post?

I have spoken to two Adobe people who have told me that the forums are indeed sending me emails, but I'm not getting them.
They say this is probably a problem with me ISP. This confuses me. It doesn't make sense to me that I would get email from other parts of adobe.com such as [email protected] or [email protected], but not [email protected]
Also, if it is my ISP, shouldn't I still see those emails on my mac.com webmail service? The email is sent directly to mac and then my Mail client fetches the emails.
Also, if it's my ISP, wouldn't I be able to see the emails on my smartphone. It doesn't use my ISP at all.
If anyone has insight as to what organization I should try to contact (Apple and Time/Warner are both megaliths that I'd rather not tilt at without reason), could you let me know?

Missing Email Notification

First generation iPhone - Ever since updating one of our office iPhones, there is no longer an email notification when receiving new email. The email icon used to show how many were unread. Now it doesn't show any, even though the email is coming through. Does anyone know how to fix this or anyone experiencing same problem?

Since the OP I have found out, with the help of a green jumpy one, that there is something wrong in the transfer of emails at my web host. Nothing wrong in the forum PM workflow.

Email Notification In Homescreen?

I recently did a hard reset on my Nokia 5800 XM because the inbuilt backup feature wasn't working... and it was the worst possible experience ever! beacuse the "backup" i did using pc suite, didn't backup everything either...
But i found out later that it still would not work as I just updated to Nokia Maps 3.06 and there is some related bug, which apparently gets fixed in software v52, but my phone can't update to that, so it's stuck on software v50...
But thats beside the point; my main reason to be here is that after doing the hard reset, i've noticed that i can no longer get email notifications on my homescreen when the homescreen theme is set to "Shortcuts Bar". I can get it when the theme is in "Contacts Bar". I have the Email Notification option when in "Contacts Bar" theme, but not when in "Shortcuts Bar" theme. Before the hard reset, I also used the "Shortcuts Bar" theme and had email nortifications working perfectly. BTW I use Nokia Messaging 10.2. Ihave also uploaded images, incase they may help...
So, can anyone help me get the notifications up and running again? Thnx

i wouldn't like to do those now, seeing as i just had an awful experience with resetting a phone, and i also can not back up due to that nokia maps bug. i'll wait for a firmware upgrade instead.... atleast i won't lose all my stuff again

DFM email notification setup

Hi All,
I have LMS 2.6 and DFM 2.0.10, configured email notification for one Subscription "INL" as sender address [email protected] to [email protected]
Recently I have configured another Subscription "POY" for another bunch of devices as sender "[email protected]" only to [email protected]
I am receiving mails to [email protected] but not to [email protected]
Can someone look into this issue and tell me what needs to be done.

Hi,
First thing I'd check is if you are generating alarms for "POY" in the Alerts and Activities. If they are present then I'd verify I can send email to [email protected] from the LMS server. If you can then we will need to examine some files.
You can start troubleshooting by verifying the configuration of your second group.
Creating a Notification Subscription
To create a notification subscription, perform the following steps:
1. If you want to monitor a specific set of events, create an event set that contains the events you want to monitor. Otherwise, all events and alerts will be monitored.
2. Create a notification group that specifies the criteria DFM should use when generating notifications:
One or more event sets (if no event set is specified, all events and alerts are monitored)
Devices, alert severity and status, and event severity and status
You can specify the notification group name, along with entering identifying information (using the Customer ID and Customer Revision fields).
3. Create a subscription by doing the following:
    a. Select the notification type (SNMP Trap, E-Mail, or Syslog).
    b. Name the subscription and apply a notification group to it.
    c. Specify the recipients (hostname, e-mail address).
    d. Save the subscription. It will automatically start running.
Troubleshooting SMTP
From the LMS server, telnet to your SMTP server on TCP port 25, and make sure you can:
1. Connect to the server
2. Issue the following command:
    HELO IP
Where IP is the IP address of the LMS server. The mailserver should grant you access to send email.
If that works, start a sniffer trace filtering on all tcp/25 traffic between the LMS server and the SMTP server. Generate new DFM events which should trigger email notifications, then check the sniffer trace to see what is happening.
