I Pad email access using web browser

I plan to give my I Pad I 3G to my wife and purchase a new I Pad 2 for myself. My wife wants to use the I Pad I Wi-FI for internet access and not purchase a paid subscription for a data plan. She has a mobileme paid account on her IMac. When she tries to access her email on the I Pad 1 via mobileme using a web browser, the IPad will not allow her to do this; it keeps bumping her to a page that says requires a paid account. She already has a mobile me paid account and should be able to access her me.com mail via web browser as she does from other computers when traveling away from home. Please advise.

Your email account was hacked, that's what happened, & it happens all the time. Change your password...use at least 10 characters...a combination of upper/lower case...numbers & characters.

I have 2 WFE behing F5 that handles ssl termination too. I have a site abc.xyz.com.
At aam i have
http://abc.xyz.com in default zone and https://abc.xyz.com in internal zone.
AT sharepoint content source; I have both http and https of the above site version.
DNS entry of abc.xyz.com is pointing at VIP in f5 which load balances this site at 2 different ips assigned to each web front end server.
Now when i run search in this content source, searchable item populates but there is error for http request telling An unrecognized HTTP response was received when attempting to crawl this item. Verify whether the item can be accessed using your browser.
Why is this happening?
Is it because requests are coming to f5 as https but search is returning it as http? Will SSL termination removal from f5 solve this issue which i really don't want to do? Will pointing dns entry to two ips in wfe instead of f5 VIP will work?

Pictures previously included as part of an email are no longer there. If I forward the email to another web browser the picture is there. This just started happening after my last upade and I do not know why.

For some reason pictures that have been included in emails as part of the email are no longer there. This seems to have happened after my last update of firefox. If I forward the email to another web browser on my computer the picture is then visible as part of the email. The pictures I am talking about are not ones attached for me to open but ones that are included as part of the email.

* You can check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

Uregnt - How to Load Flat File into BW-BPS using Web Browser

Hello,
We have followed the 'How to Load Flat File into BW-BPS using Web Browser' guide to build BSP web front-end to upload flat file. Everything works great but we have a requirement to populate the Planning Area Variables based on BSP drop down list with values. Does anyone know how to do this? We have the BSP coded with drop down list all we need to do now is populate variables. We can populate the variables through the planning level (hardcoded) but we need to populate them through the web interface.

Hello Gary,
We have acheived the desired result by not too a clean method but it works for us.
What we have done is, we have the link to load file in a page where the variables can be input. The user would then have the option to choose the link to load a file for the layout in that page.
By entering the variable values in the page, we are able to read the variables for the file input directly in the load program.
Maybe this approach might help.

I cant access my email on iCloud web browser

Just the last 3 days, ive been unable to access my emails using my web browser based iCloud account - all other apps on iCloud work fine, apart from Mail.
Message comes up "Mail could not be loaded"
Sent report to Apple multiple times daily since Wednesday but no changes and no contact.
Nothings changed with my browser or work pc - using Google Chrome without issue until this instance.
Any ideas?
Tried deleting all history and cache etc. no difference.

As a new security measure Apple are sending emails whenever you (or anyone) signs into your iCloud account. They come from [email protected] and take this form:
Dear Roger Wilmut,
Your Apple ID (XXXXXXXXXXXXX) was used to sign in to iCloud via a web browser.
Date and Time: September 7, 2014, 4:13 AM PDT
If you recently signed in to iCloud.com, you can disregard this email.
If you have not signed in to iCloud.com recently and believe someone may have accessed your account, you should reset your password at My Apple ID.

Note that they address you by name, and that the links (which you can check in Mail by hovering the mouse over them) are to the legitimate sites. Fake emails usually don't address you by name, and more particularly the 'reset' links are to obviously non-Apple addresses. In any event you should as a matter of course go to appleid.apple.com by entering it in a browser, not following links in emails. However as long as the emails look like the example here they are legitimate. Whether they are indeed a useful security facility is open to some argument.

The printout of wireless network test page shows IP address for HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus as: http://192.168.1.104 (The HP Home Network Diagnostic Utility v4.3.0.002 also shows: 192.168.1.104)
When I try to access http://192.168.1.104 with either IE 9 or Firefox 10 I get an error message: "The website is unable to display the webpage"
But, on the same computer I CAN access http://192.168.1.103 HP Officejet 6480 web browser configuration page with either IE 9 or Firefox 10
Why I can't access the web configuration page: http://192.168.1.104

FYI: I set the router to various other network modes, channel widths, channels and ssid broadcast on/off, and also removed power from router and printer, reconnected power and restarted computer, all these efforts did NOT allow access to http://192.168.1.104

On the front of the printer: Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard. Run it.
Next, on your PC, delete all instances of your printer in Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Finally, re-add the printer this way:
1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by browsing to its IP address before continuing. Get its IP from a Network Test printed from the front panel of the printer.
2. Click >> Start >> Control panel >> Devices & Printers.
3. Click the Add a printer
4. Select Local printer
5. Select Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port and click Next button.
6. Under Device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under Hostname or IP address, enter the printer's IP address. Click Next.
7. Select Hewlett-Packard from the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model was not listed, then select Have Disk, browse the HP CD that came with your printer and select the first file that starts with hp and ends with inf. Click Open then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
8. If you are asked, use the currently installed driver.
9. It will ask for the Printer name -- enter a new name or use the existing one. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
10. You may be asked to share the printer. Choose NO.
11. The Print Test Page box appears. Go ahead and print it.
12. Click Finish.

WRT160n cannot access via web browser

After i unchecked the acces the router through web browser box and saved setttings now I cannot get back in. I know this was a dumb mistake. I did this so I counld access my web cam. Every time I tried to access the cam the router sign in screen came up. Well now the cam orks but not the sign in screen. Please help. I really don't want to push reset because I don;t remember the settings AT*T told me to change to use the router with their Modem.

If you want to access the router setup page then,Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...If you setup your own password and you don't remember the password then,you have to reset the router.

Cannot access my web browser anymore!

Arrrgh! Just typed a whole msge, then think I deleted it by pressing the back button by mistake, so apologies if this has gone out twice! I've had my 'curve 8900', 4 over a yr now & never had any major probs until now. I updated my phone about 3 mths ago, but as I had bn using my (dare I say) iTouch, I hadn't used my web browser. anyhow, whilst out one day, I had 2 use my BB as my itouch doesn't have 3G & my phone froze after clicking on the browser button & a strange msge came up which said "Uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException" . I then had 2 do a battery pull 4 my phone 2 work again. I tried again at home, but same problem occurred. I backed up & updated my phone less than a wk ago, hoping this would fix it, but the same problem keeps re-occurring. I've searched the forums 4 about 90 mins, but haven't come across this same msge with any other user! Can any of u bright BB people out there possibly help me with this most frustrating problem PLEASE!???? Waiting in anticipation! Cherry58

I spent 1 minute googling the error message and got 20,300 hits, so there is plenty of info out there.
From a brief reading of a couple of these hits, it seems a battery pull will provide a solution. Now, you mention that you have updated your phone although its not clear from what you have said as to what that means. Please explain. Also if you have updated your os then there might be some apps that are incompatible with the new system. And when you reply, please dont use 1 long paragraph and text speak as it makes it hard to help you.

How to view videos in iCloud published iPhoto Journal using web browser?

If I publish an iPhoto Journal containing videos to iCloud and then attempt to view the journal from a web browser e.g. Safari, I see a single image corresponding to each video, but when I select one of them, I get a backwards, play/pause and forwards buttons, but those only control treating the images as a slideshow. I don't see any buttons that correspond to playing the contents of each video. Do I have the incorrect format for the videos (they are .mp4 files created using Handbrake from the original .MOV files which is what my camera creates)?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Mac get real slow after using web browser for awhile

Using internet does not matter what which web browser I use after just minutes especially playing the browser runs extremy slow. I have 15" and 17" 4 gig memory on both macs and they both do the same thing, do not think it is the internet I get about 10 mg rate

Sorry, didn't want to post verbose instructions if they weren't needed. Let's go one by one:
Is he getting all the right IP information - IP/mask/gateway/DNS?
Go to a command prompt (Start/run, type CMD then Enter). Then type IPCONFIG then Enter. This will give you everything except DNS. Run IPCONFIG /ALL. Note the DNS server(s). Compare this output with your Mac (System Preferences/Network).
If so, from Terminal, ping the gateway, then DNS, then yahoo.com. Where/when does it fail? If it fails at yahoo.com, does it resolve the name to the IP address?
Whoops, my bad, Terminal is Mac. From the command prompt you're hopefully still in (if not, run CMD again), ping the default gateway listed in the IPCONFIG output from above (type PING followed by gateway address; looks like #.#.#.#) Successful? If so, ping DNS server from IPCONFIG /ALL output. Successful? If so, ping yahoo.com. First, does it resolve yahoo.com to an actual address (i.e. 68.180.206.184)? Do you get replies, or does it timeout?

Unable to access the login screen using web browser

Hi!
I have recently downloaded the peoplesoft HCM template from edelivery.oracle.com and created two virtual machines namely HCM-DB and PIA-APP. Now both the virtual machines are able to ping to each other but are unable to ping to the Oracle virtual server nor to the base machine on which the Oracle virtual manager is installed. Both the viirtual machine, the oracle vm server and oracle vm manager are in the same network 192.168.1.0.
Secondly if I am starting the database then the PIA server. Still I am unable to access the login screen using the following url:- http://nsoln.com:8000/ps/signon.html.
As, I am new to this field, any help would be a great asset for me to resolve the above issue.

Check the server name in your httpd.conf file
(ORACLEHOME\Apache\Apache\conf\httpd.conf) and look to see if it is in capital letters. If it is edit it to lower case. Reboot.
