I purchased an ITrip Auto Pilot and when attempting to use it to play music from my Iphone through my car speakers, I was promptedd to get an app from the itunes store to enable it to work. I went to the itunes store and searched for an app and could not find one. Can anyone tell me the app I need and where to get it for this itrip auto pilot made by Griffin? It is supposedd to enable my iphone and ipod to play on my FM radio in my car.
You should go to the web site for the iTrip product and see what app it is, I'll bet there's a link there that will take you right to the app. Don't worry, as you get more stuff it'll be easier to figure it all out, eventually it'll be plain old common sense that solves these types of issues for you

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

My apologies...the version is 11.1.4.62 not as stated aboive in my problem description. I'm trying again and it just finished syncing fine and my iPhone 5 is still connected to iTuns physcially with USB lightening cable and is displaying the iPhone icon top right. I clicked on it and iTunes is now "hung' or locked up. Shows to be an active running application but can't get back to it so willl have to kill with task manager. There is some kind of problem going on with the latest version of iTunes and Wndows 7 and 8.1 or something. My iPhone 5 now has a new feature that it is now asking me if I "Trust" this computer. iTunes just came "unhung" after several minutes while I was typing this. Now I am going to start the backup to this computer HP Winsows 8.1 and iTune 11.1.4.62 and see what happens. Says it is Backing up Jerrys iPhone but the Barber Pole progress bar is not turning an iTunes is hung again and I cant get back to it from this page I am typing on. Maybe it will eventually release as it did a moment ago.

Done all of the above...everything is in order, still cannot connect to the store. I have the 5th gen iPod and $50 iTunes gift card that I cannot use(been trying now for 6 days). I am going to return both of these items if I cannot find a fix for this.When I called Apple (after wating 42 min. for a live person) I was told to run the APPLE Software Update and turn off location services then restart my computer. There were no available updates. The iPod touch I got on Christmas day. The iTunes app was downloaded the same day. Since day 1 I have not been able to connect. After restarting my computer:
From the iTunes app I click on the 'iTunes Store'
A new window opens and I get the following message:
This Apple ID has not yet veen used with the iTunes Store.
Please review your account information
So I click on 'Review' and am taken to a crude screen that says
Welcome to the iTunes Store
With an Apple ID, you can download the latest music, videos, and more.
To begin creating your Apple ID, click Continue.
So I click on 'Continue'
A pop up window says:
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202).
There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
And the only option I am left with is to click 'OK'
After every fix this same scenerio just loops and loops and loops -
When I open itunes to play content I've already purchased and while attempting to view trailers for movies in the itunes store, I receive a generic error message from windows, and I'm directed to reinstall the latest version of itunes. Not a fix. Help?

-Launch Control Panel - Double click Quicktime, If you do not see quicktime, look on the top left side of control panel and switch to classic view. This will then allow you to see Quicktime.
-Now click the advanced tab and click on Safe Mode GDI Only, Apply, then ok. -
I can't seem to update my apps or make any purchases on from my account. Nothing has changed with my credit card information and for some reason the iTunes Store tells me my information is incorrect. What do I do?
Yes, it's frustrating.
I don't have my iPod with me but, as I recall, the change is done in Settings/Store. That change will apply to NEW purchases. However, be aware that all purchases are permanently associated with the Apple ID that was originally used. Generally, it's only a problem when you need to update an app. IF you do your updating from iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. It's easier from the iPod as you do not need to log out/in but you do need to know the password.
Unfortunately, you can not merge IDs nor can you transfer purchases from one ID to another. Go here to find out exactly what you have. I have the same problem so I deliberately made both passwords identical to make things slightly easier for me. -

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I had an iTune card gift and i tried to made reedem for it but the iTune store show that it is not activated so what should I do to activate it ?
What you normally should do is go back the retailer from whom you purchased the card and discuss the problem with them. They should either correctly activate the card or give you a new one. If they refuse to help, as some retailers do, or this was a gift so you cannot contact the retailer, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I had my iTunes set up to play music through my receiver & speakers upstairs. I have airport with RCA plug ins to my receiver auxiliary jacks. Homesharing is on & everything checks out but it no longer works. Any suggestions? I have no firewall & I have removed Smith clean program to fix this issue. I am running OS 10.8.2
I called AppleCare this morning and Sean helped me out in a huge way. In all of my attempts, I had not done a factory-default reset on the main base station and apparently some sort of endless loop had occurred between those two stations. Sean was very helpful and patient with me, but now the system is working as promised. Moral of this story is if a factory default rest doesn't help on the "problem" base station, try resetting all of the units.

Cannot update Apps, some pages within the iTunes Store are blank
About 2 weeks ago, I started having problems with iTunes.
1) I can update Apps on my iPhone, but I can no longer login to iTunes (11.3.1) and update my my Apps on my Mac (OSX 10.9.4), as the Mac is not recognizing my password, although my iPhone is.
2) When I open the iTunes Store to search for music/movies, etc. not all of the pages within the iTunes Store have content. For example, the "Home Page", "Music", "Movies", "TV Shows", "Books" pages all work and have content. The "App Store", "Podcasts" & iTunesU pages are completely blank and have no content. Also when I Search for certain items, it's hit or miss. Sometimes the search brings something back, and again sometime the search bring back a blank page.
We brought out Mac into an Apple Store yesterday (8/15) and they did not no what is going on. The reinstall the OSX software and we backed up fro a Time machine backup, but it did not fix the issue.
Could this possibly be a glitch in the iTunes software? Would we need to uninstall and reinstall iTunes?

Hello everyone!
I recently finished a multifolio application for the itunes store. I tested it on my ipad and it worked just great. After that I sent it to apple and I got my approval. I waited 24h and nothing is happening.
Details which might help:
I launched the first folio as a single edition app. Which worked out perfectly. It showed up in the app store, people were able to download it – no problem at all. Then I built a new multifolio version with the same app informations and had it send to apple by replacing the old single edition. Now I know for a fact that this is usually not a problem at all as long as you use the same app informations for the new one. Like I said I ran some tests on my ipad. Uploaded magazines. Everything went just fine. But after I received the Email from apple saying that my application has been approved and is now ready sale the app is completely gone. There is even no sign of the single edition.
Does anyone know what could have gone wrong?

Yes I did both. Is it possible that I have to change or request a new contract for the app like iOS Paid Applications Contract? Even if it is for free? Right now I didn't make any adjustments in the contracts sections. -

will I have to purchase the ones I still want on my phone. At least one of them was currupt since my battery was draining 10X the normal rate. when I went to get my apps and choose the ones to put back on my phone they were not in my apple account. My ringtones are gone also.

1. tap on App store icon, then purchased on the bottom menu, and download direct from iCloud.
2. connect your iPad to computer and open iTunes if not already open. Select your iPad in the left
column then choose the Apps tab and check each App you want on the iPad. If your iPad is connected to a power source and you use iTunes WiFi sync on the same WiFi, you can download Apps from iTunes without connecting your Ipad to the computer.
