Today morning when I tried to check mail, i suddenly got an error message saying " Could not activate cellular data network: you are not subscribed to a cellular data service", when I checked on my network settings i was not able to find the cellular data network tab ( where we use to input APN manually). i even tried to restore my iPhone to its factory settings, Still it remains the same. i cant able to connect to Internet using cellular data. help me...Plz..
Where did you purchase it from? There are lots of iPhones sold as "unlocked" which are carrier locked phones that were hacked and are not officially unlocked. These phones are subject to re-locking to the original carrier, particularly when updated.

When I downloaded (on PC) the new 5 it crashed my iPad 2. This is Linda again. The new iPad actually as not restored on my employees computer. I thought it was working. Message said the device is in recovery mode and can not be restored. I have been at the Apple store for a total of 6 hours and on the phone with support for at least 4 hours. And now the replacement has crashed??? Has this happened to any one else?

Contact your carrier to ensure data access via their network is provisioned properly for your account and iPhone with the new iOS 6 update installed.

I have spoken with them for hours and they say it's fine from their end and I've reset network settings, replaced my nano sim for my iPhone 5, restored my phone played with wifi on and off airplane mode on and off I don't know what else I can do. Please help me experts!
Under "settings / general / network" is your "Cellular Data" button set to "ON"?

Wanted to sync up my new IPhone4, and thought that I should make sure I had the most up to date version of ITunes on my desktop first. Tried to get on site, and got an error message saying; "The folder ITunes is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder." Cannot get on ITunes at all now. Help! Thx.
In my case its a new computer the old one was stolen and the time machine disk did not work for a restore but did for copying the info to the new mac

Could not activate cellular data network. you are not subscribed to a cellular data service
what does this mean?
It means you are either
a) not subscribed to a data plan
b) your account is provisioned incorrectly
c) you are using an unsupported carrier whose data network is not compatible with the iPhone
or
d) you are completely out of range of your carriers data network.
If:
a) sign up for a data plan
b) call your carrier
c) call your carrier and try to work it out with them
d) go someplace where you get data coverage. -

I changed my DNS settins so they point to OpenDNS DNS servers
On a Mac go to SYSTEM PREFERENCES>NETWORK>ADVACED>DNS
change DNS by adding ( + )
208.67.222.222
then
208.67.220.220
click okay/apply after. then try the update. after the update, just delete the two open DNS server numbers. should revert back to your old one. -
I have been using Elements 12 without a problem for 9 months. Now when I try to open the program, I get an error message "Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 quit unexpectedly" and it will not open at all. What can I do to open the program?
Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. The technician was able to fix the problem on my computer remotely, but I have no clue what he did! But, it was definitely related to their recent upgrade to my computer.

I can redo that without a problem...BUT...I just tried to synch my iPad with my Mac and I got the following message: The iPad "name" cannot be synched. You do not have the privilege to make changes. I deauthorized my PC and have authorized my Mac...it just won't synch. Help!!

I keep getting this error code while trying to import a cd to my itunes: "Error occurred while converting the file. The disc you are attempting to use is full. removing files and emptying the recycle bin will free up additional space." What does this mean?
Well it probably means exactly what it says... How much free space is there on your hard drive where the iTunes Media folder resides? I believe there is also an obscure bug that can occur when software doesn't read the true value of the free space properly, and the workaround is, perversely, to duplicate some content so that with less actual free space the software in question perceives it as more. I've no idea if iTunes is affected by such a bug.

During sync, itoons error message "User's iphone cannot be synced. You do not have enought access proviliedges for this operation". Never happened before, any ideas what to do? Checked and new computer is authorized. Greg

When I download photos from a flash drive,everything is fine and they show in Events and Pictures, but when I click on the individual pic I get an error message saying that it cannot locate the JPG. Any thoughts?
It sounds like your iPhoto Advanced preferences are set to not copy photos during import, i.e. a Referenced library:
Check your Advanced preferences to see if that's the case. If it is the best solution would be to select the checkbox to copy the photos and reimport the photos from the flash drive. Then check the new import. It it was OK you can delete the previous event with the "missing" photos.

If other devices can connect to the network without problems, it means that the router can provide wireless internet. For this situation, an isolation process is needed to be able to find a fix.
Was the computer tested to connect through Wi-Fi before you bought it?
Did you do Mac address filter on your router?
Make sure that the router is using WPA/WPA2 or WPA2 encryption type just like what Chester has recommended. If your router is already set to that security type, you may test by disabling the wireless security of the WI-Fi router. Check if it will connect or not.
Another thing to check is the properties of your wireless connection. To do that, Go to Network and Sharing center > Click change adapter settings > right click “Wireless” > go to Properties> click Internet protocol IPV4> check the Properties button below > make sure that it’s set to both Obtain IP automatically and Obtain DNS server automatically.
