I recently browsed iTunes UK and now can't get back to iTunes US version. I restarted my Mac and whenever I open iTunes store it is the UK version. I can't open an account there because it won't let me use by email address twice.
I recently browsed ITunes UK store and now can't get back to my iTunes US store. The UK store won't accept my email address as it is in use. So, effectively, I can't make an iTunes purchase. And, this password changing is madness. Everytime I sign in iTunes doesn't recognize my password and so I have to get a new one even though I've answered the useless security questions. Has anyone solved this problem before?
Funny how this seems to be one of the most-asked questions on the Internet. In most cases, no answer is ever checked as "Correct," either. Most answers, as on this page, say to click the flag at the bottom right-hand corner of any store page. The problem? There's only one flag!!! And it's the one of the country we don't want to be in!!!
Just in case this helps someone: what worked for me was to sign in. It then told me my id was not valid for this country, and switched me back to the US. How I was ever able to buy something from the UK store in the first place is beyond me.
By the way, Apple, experiences like this, and many, many other horrible ones with iTunes, is why those of us who do not live in the Apple world continue to stick to their Microsoft PCs.

New Envy All in One won't let me use my email address to email scans
Hi, I have just purchased 2 HP Envy 7640 e All in One Series machines.
Setting up the Scan to email option I have to insert my own email address for it to send me a pin number (and to put on emails it sends out - I think ??) my email is: [email protected] I get a message saying "enter a valid email address" I have had this on only a very few sites in the past and believe it is because the domain is numbers only.
has anyone any suggestions?

I understand you are looking to setup Scan to Email on the ENVY 7640, but the Email you are trying to use is not being accepted.
More than likely the issue is being caused by the Email domain you are trying to enter. Do you have another email with a more common domain to try? For example, Gmail, MSN, etc.

A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
Hi please help me I'm useles with these thing. I've had cydia put on my device didn't like it so deleted ap and now I cant get back into Icloud it's gone very faded in couler the icon in settings. Facebook Twitter and a few others have done the same. I need iCloud back please help!

You have Jailbroken your device. Apple does not support Jailbreaking and as such having done so has voided your warranty and forfeited any support from Apple and by extension these forums. We are not allowed to discuss Jailbroken devices in any way by the Terms of Service of the forum.
You will have to find help elsewhere. Ask the person that installed Cydia to restore the phone. -
Have several books that were recently purchased. This week these books have multiplied into at least 20 or more copies within my library. How can I delete them because it will not let me use the edit tab?
Do they have the cloud icon on them ? When I had Settings > iBooks > Show All Purchases 'on' I was getting multiple copies of books that were only in the cloud showing on the bookshelf in the app - turning that setting 'off' stopped them showing (you can see what books are available for redownloading, and redownload them, via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app)

It seems that in a case like this you'd need to reset the device to factory settings and then restore from iCloud backup.
Sadly the reset to factory settings could cause more trouble than its worth.
Apple's iCloud backup, could, but does not let the user restore one app or its data.
You'll also find that even though that App's data is in the cloud, you as its owner do not have access to it.

As i am the sole user of my computer i dont use my password, therefore to be honest i have forgotten it. Now I dont know how to get my password back and i cant delete the guest user which seemed to have put itself there. if I try to delete. It I am told i will lose all my files. I simply switched off last night as I was so frustrated by it. technical terms are not much use to me, at 78 i feel I just need simply directions as to what to do. i am sure there is nothing wrong with the desktop. i would be grateful for any suggestions

Your Mac encrypts your password as it is entered. It is never stored "in the clear". It cannot tell you what it is, or even how many characters are in it. All it can tell is, when you enter it again and it encrypts it again, "was that it?"
So you will need to Reset your password, which changes it permanently, deleting the old one.

is it possible to retrive or download a number/contact after its been deleted from your iphone? i deleted a number about 2-3 months ago and

As stated above. I need to upload pictures to my business website but now my upload box is just saying incompatable plug in. I wish I had never installed Lion as I was happy with my mac on its origional OS, I only installed it as my Java had disappeared and I was instructed on the java page that to upload the latest verion of Java I needed to upgrade to Lion. I am really not happy as I now cannot do the job on my mac that I bought the mac to do the job on. Please help. Is it possible to uninstall Lion without buggering up my mac and going back to my origional OS. I am on safari. I have Firefox 4.01, retrieved (thankfully) after installing Firefox 5. I noticed upon installation that my Google Toolbar was gone and the notification said Google Toolbar was not compatible with the new version of Firefox. After retrieving the copy of 4.01 from oldversions.com, I started getting bombarded with requests to upgrade to Firefox 5.0. This goes on all day, all night...it never stops. Is there a place I can ask you guys to please stop? I'll upgrade when you make this version compatible with Google's Toolbar.

I have the same problem: I also don't want to upgrade to 5.0 (4.0 messed me up enough and I finally got that straightened out). How do I stop those annoying requests? It should have a "No" option.
