I'm with JC4567, I have my old email turn up when going into my iCloud settings. It won't let me change the email to my new one (this new email and password are already updated on my PC. Why can't it just automatically update all other devices with it???), it's grey'ed out so I can't click and edit. I read somewhere that if we delete (older ios) or log off (newer ios) iCloud in the Settings then we can log in with the new AppleID and password. When I tried that it brought up my old AppleID and demanded my old password to my to turn off the "Find My iPhone" part in the iCloud. So I couldn't delete/log out of iCloud without turning off Fimd My iPhone. Catch 22. How do we fix that?

Aye you absolutely sure you are using the correct account name and password ?
Ordinarily just clearing History will not prevent you using webmail.
If you use the History option to forget about the site it would clear everything from the History of that site including: cookies, the site address and the login details

In fact recording all the details then using the forget site option can be a good trouble shooting step to gain access to a site. Or try an alternative browser.
If someone has taken control of your account you will need to that up urgently with Google. You will need your security details to hand. You may also need to consider what else may be compromised

I recently browsed iTunes UK and now can't get back to iTunes US version. I restarted my Mac and whenever I open iTunes store it is the UK version. I can't open an account there because it won't let me use by email address twice.

And, this password changing is madness. Everytime I sign in iTunes doesn't recognize my password and so I have to get a new one even though I've answered the useless security questions. Funny how this seems to be one of the most-asked questions on the Internet. In most cases, no answer is ever checked as "Correct," either. Most answers, as on this page, say to click the flag at the bottom right-hand corner of any store page. The problem? There's only one flag!!! And it's the one of the country we don't want to be in!!!
Just in case this helps someone: what worked for me was to sign in. It then told me my id was not valid for this country, and switched me back to the US. How I was ever able to buy something from the UK store in the first place is beyond me.
By the way, Apple, experiences like this, and many, many other horrible ones with iTunes, is why those of us who do not live in the Apple world continue to stick to their Microsoft PCs.

We need to sort out some facts here first:
• You cannot be running Mt. Lion on your iMac G5. What Mac is it? What is the Model Identifier listed in About This Mac; More Info; Hardware Overview
• What is the model of your Epson Scanner?
• Have you attempted to scan using Image Capture, located in your Applications folder?
• Your Palm Pilot software will only run in Snow Leopard; so depending upon which Mac you have, you will either have to:
1) partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard into it to "dual-boot" when you want to access you Palm software, or
2) install Snow Leopard Server (now available from Apple for $20 telephone orders USA & Canda only) into Parallels 8 to run your Palm software in Mt. Lion:

New Envy All in One won't let me use my email address to email scans

Hi, I have just purchased 2 HP Envy 7640 e All in One Series machines.
Setting up the Scan to email option I have to insert my own email address for it to send me a pin number (and to put on emails it sends out - I think ??) my email is: [email protected] I get a message saying "enter a valid email address" I have had this on only a very few sites in the past and believe it is because the domain is numbers only.
has anyone any suggestions?

I understand you are looking to setup Scan to Email on the ENVY 7640, but the Email you are trying to use is not being accepted.
More than likely the issue is being caused by the Email domain you are trying to enter. Do you have another email with a more common domain to try? For example, Gmail, MSN, etc.

Forgot security question answers, won't let me use rescue email.

I forgot the answers to my security questions, and where the option for the rescue email to reset them is supposed to be it's not there. I do have a rescue e-mail.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of doing so include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

As far as I am aware, the US student discount is verified using sheer ID details (name, college, etc) and not by the email address on your Spotify account. Therefore, you should be able to activate it without changing your Spotify details.

This means that the phone was previously hacked to carrier unlock (unauthorized unlock), and when you restored, the hack was removed and it became re-locked to its original carrier. It will now accept a SIM card only from that carrier.
Your only option is to contact the carrier it's locked to and enquire if they will provide authorized unlocking. Not all carriers will unlock and those that do usually have requirements and qualifications - i.e. you have to be a current or former customer in good standing.

Have them delete the iCloud account (your email address) on their devices then let them create their own iCloud account -> http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4436. If all of you are syncing contacts and calendars on the same iCloud account, they have to re-organise those stuffs once they have their own iCloud account. When you delete an iCloud account, it normally asks what would you do for the synced information - keep it on the iOS device or delete. If they choose to keep the synced information (e.g. Contacts and Calendars), they have to delete those thare aren't theirs or they can start from scratch by deleting the synced information from the iOS device. Have you tried your spam folder? it could have gone there by default. also, are you sure you put the correct email in for iCloud?
