I Have tried to soft rest it but it does not work.

Unfortunately, since an unauthorized party opened it, Apple won't have anything to do with it at all. It's not eligible for an out of warranty replacement.

The LCD Display connector has partially come loose from the logic board connector, and simply needs to be pressed back down into place. Or the front screen assembly is now faulty, and needs to be replaced again.

If you’ve got access to your iPhone
Ensure your phone is connected to the internet (3G or Wi-Fi) so that the changes will sync with your Apple ID.
Go into ‘Settings’.
Tap ‘Messages’.
For ‘iMessage’, move the slider to ‘Off’.
If you don’t have access to your iPhone
Go to supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do.
Log in with your Apple ID and password.
Select the product you need to de-register (your iPhone, for example).
Click ‘Unregister’.
You’ll see the message ‘Are you sure you want to unregister and delete this product?’ – Click ‘Unregister’ again.

Recently had my iPhone 5 stolen. It looked like the thief actually turned it on today, as I received a weird "iPhone is now using (email address) for messaging. Tell me, can I track the phone using iMessages?

I hadn't gotten to enabling it. Only had it 5 days. It is disabled and registered as stolen with the cell company. Just wondered if other methods of tracking would work.
It'll eventually become a brick, since I don't think a charge cable can be had.

I think you will have to do a complete restore--you will lose any info added since last backup. Connect phone to computer, select it in souce list. Next, click on Summary tab, click Restore. In the next dialog box, click Restore--your phone will be erased and the latest software will be installed. Click agree to terms and phone will restart. Then you will see the phone setup screen--click on Restore from Backup and select the most recent backup. Obviously, this will only work if you have a backup on the computer. If not, check Set up as New Phone, click continue, then wait for the process to finish.

I see an apple logo instead of text (appears as a space)

Something I am having an issue with is seeing an apple logo appearing as actual text. It seems to appear instead of a space. I have seen this appear in emails as well as web pages.
I have cleared my font cache, checked for corrupt fonts, etc.
Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

I just checked and all my settings are Unicode (UTF-8) which appears to be the correct setting.
Maybe it's just me and the fonts are intended to look like that.
Can somebody do me a favor?

The second post. In MyMac8MyPC's signature do you see an apple logo right next to the Mac Mini text?
If so I guess everything is fine. If not then something is wrong and I do see the apple log in text form there.

Yes. Sign in to the iTunes Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy the music in settings on the phone.
Then tap on "purchased" in the iTunes app on the phone and download the music to your new iPhone.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Have you failed to do this?
If so, not good, you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Did you try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go? Did you try to restore as new in iTunes on your computer?

There are two methods to recover deleted imessages.
1. Restore them from a previous iTunes or iCloud backup.

Many online media providers block this - Sky and Amazon Prime do too I believe.
I would have to assume that the app providers cannot offer video Airplay for contractual reasons with the movie studios though it may just be they don;t want to enable their apps to do so.
It's not Apple preventing this, while you could see it would be in Apple's interest to push people to the iTunes store for media it could also drive people away.
