I restored and backed up my iphone and now none of my (500 photos) are showing up in my camera roll? Please help, I document my entire summer on that device.

Hi, my phone was acting up so I restored it and backed it up, now that I have it backed up none of my photos from my camera roll are there and NONE of them are in my photo stream.
Please Help! This is really stressing me out.

What does this mean? In iPhoto folders are organizational elements adn can not hold photos - folders hold other folders and albums (in the source pane on the left)

You should have signed in with that address in the first place, but there is a workaround: go to System preferences>Mail, Contacts@ Calendars and add your @me.com address as an account there.

If the backup is corrupt, there is nothing that can be done.
For what reason did you choose to not copy the pictures off the device to a computer prior to attemping an update or whatever caused the need to restore? iPhones are not intended as sole storage of any media.

It sounds like you've restored Windows on your PC and iTunes is no longer opening and running normally.
I'd recommend using the instructions found at step 4 and 5 in this article to repair or remove/reinstall your iTunes installation:

As has been said, you may have a corrupt backup on your computer. However, if it is a Windows computer you may also have a corrupt socket layer in Windows. So first try this (after canceling the backup):
Open a command window with Administrator privileges and type:
netsh winsock reset
then reboot your computer and try again to do a backup (right click on the phone's name in iTunes and select Backup from the floating menu).
If this doesn't work you will have to delete the existing backup. Go to iTunes preferences, Devices page.
Note: If you have a Mac first try restarting it, launching iTunes, and back up as described above.

Before Mountain Lion comes out I want to create a new iCloud account because I don't want to use the @me.com email that I created with my current iCloud account. I want to create an entirely new account with a new @me.com email address. I use iCloud to back up my iPhone, iPod and am signed into it on my mac. Basically I want to back up my iPhone and iPod to a new iCloud account and not lose any data. Is there any way to do this?

Before you connect to a new PC, make sure that autosync is disabled in Edit/Preferences/Devices, otherwise your phone will be wiped during the following sync.
Then back up manually:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to the new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your phone without syncing.
Transfer the purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.

My storage was getting low on my iCloud, so I decided to delete my files from numbers and pages on my iPhone and delete the apps on my phone because i did not really use it on my phone. When I got to work and clicked on pages and numbers on my iPad the files were gone. I assume the files were deleted through iCloud. If you also backed up to your computer - you can restore from that backup - to retrieve the files. As far as I know- that should have no bearing on deleting them from iCloud - they should still be in that backup.
If you used iOS file sharing with your computer - and saved the files to your computer - you can retrieve them from there.
if the only place that the files were saved to was iCloud, I know of no way to get them back.

can not believe it but did a system restor on windows vister and got it all back you can chose the date you want to restore you computer too and it worked sooooooo happy love it.

Are you saying you were trying to backup your phone but instead it restored your phone from a backup that was two years ago
If so there is no way to recover the recent data that was lost because it wasn't back up.
did you at the very least import your pics to your computer as you would a digital camera?
