Hi
I did use JBuilder x with Access database , but when I need retrieve Arabic data stored manually in database I get garbage data (like:?????) also when insert new data into database it convert into garbage also in Access db??
I used ODBC for connection
The queries are running if data in English
The project encoding is Cp1256 for windows Arabic
The same problem was occurred with SQL server and Jdatastore ??
I thing the problem is the encoding in java but how can I dealing with it ?

If you have windows set up with that char set, and you have MS Access then you can populate the database via MS Access (not via java.) Then read that data. And print the hex values of the chars that you read. Verify that that hex values correspond to what you put into the database. You must not print it to verify it.
If the hex values do not match then the default encoding for java is wrong or just does not work. You might be able to use the DSN to change how this work. You might also be able to use getBytes() and create your own string (the DSN change is more likely to work however.)

I will let it run overnight as there are lots of songs and photos as well as a few movies.
If that does not work, then I will go into TM and try restore. I have restored some things in the past such a mail files and it has worked well.
The Apple fellow at the store told me to go right into TM, he may have had a point. I'll get it eventually. -
EVDRE encountered error retrieving the data from web Server

I know this is the common/generic error message, following is our scenario:
We installed BPC NW 7.5 on our production box and configured F5 load balancing for two .NET servers.
We are getting the error "EVDRE encountered error retrieving the data from web Server"when we run the report EVDRE on APSHELL (original Appset). This is the fresh installation:
The workaround "Clear Local application information". Even this works only sometimes.
Is there anything else we should have configured on using two .NET servers?
Please suggest.

We changed some of the parameters at F5 switch like sticky time, timeout..
And the MDXPARSER connection to one of out application server was failling, thats why we did not had this issue consistently.
When ever the request goes to that app server fails. It took a lot effort to notice this since we were assuming the F5 switch was only causing the issue.

How to retrieve name4 data from backend for display on View Ship-to Address

I need your advise / help:
I added name4 in shiptodetails1.jsp for new ship-to address when ordering. This name4 can be entered, saved to backend and display before submit rder. but when dispaly the created order, the name4 data is not shown on View Ship-to party Address page. Seems address.getName4() is not enough, I need to modify some method to retrieve the data from backend address object. Can anyone guide me what and how to enhance forretrieving name4 data from backend, so it can display on View Ship-to Address?
Any advises / suggestions?

I hope you already found the solution but here some more detail.
I am working on ISA with ECC so I do not have an access to CRM system.
As you are facing problem to retrieve data from back-end while displaying it on order status page you can debug code of class DetailStrategyR3.class.
There is a method fillDocument this method call RFC BAPI_ISAORDER_GETDETAILEDLIST. This RFC actually read Order related data from backend and fill the SalesDocument object. Method fillDocument also call other methods like fillShipTo.
During debug in NWDS you can see address data and check the values of Address object. If Name3 or Name4 and nickName contains no value then you can't get it on JSP page because it is not coming from the RFC.
So I suggest you should first check DetailStrategyR3.class as it is preparing Document for display purpose. When you open any order on orderstatusdetail page this class comes in Action and prepare SalesDocumet with all necessary information including Ship to Address of that order. So If here you do not get value in Name3, Name4 or Nickname then you have to do some custom development

Check shipTo object in "Variable" window while debugging. Here you will get address object and can see all the variable value like FirstName, LastName, Name1, NAme2, Name3...NickName etc..... If no value in Name3, Name4 then you will not get on Page.
I hope this will help you to understand why Name3-Name4-Nickname does not have a Value though you have provided while creating an order.

I have a result set from a select * from users where userid = xxx statement. However, at the moment I have had to hard code the remainder of the code to get the data from each column as I need the column name as well as its data.
I had read somewhere using java beans and reflection it is easier. But i do not know know how.
Is there a simple way to retrieve the data from a result set ?

It is not possible to retrieve the data from Maintenance view. Maintenance View is different and Database View is different.
Maintenance view : Maintenance view permits you to maintain the data of an application object together.The data is automatically distributed in the underlying database tables.
A standardized table maintenance transaction is provided (SM30), permitting you to maintain the data from the base tables of a maintenance view together.
In other words, Maintenance views enable a business-oriented approach to looking at data, while at the same time, making it possible to maintain the data involved. Data from several tables can be summarized in a maintenance view and maintained collectively via this view. That is, the data is entered via the view and then distributed to the underlying tables by the system.
Database View: Data about an application object is often distributed on several database tables. A database view provides an application-specific view on such distributed data.A database view is automatically created in the underlying database when it is activated.Database views implement an inner join.If the database view only contains a single table, the maintenance status can be used to determine if data records can also be inserted with the view. If the database view contains more than one table, you can only read the data.
Database views should be created if want to select logically connected data from different tables simultaneously. Selection with a database view is generally faster than access to individual tables. When selecting with views, you should also ensure that there are suitable indexes on the tables contained in the view.

Problem: Unable to retrieve workflow data from MDM repository
This is a new MDM installations scenario for version 5.5 SP05 (5.5.40.83).
After installing MS Visio, finding problems connecting it with the MDM Data Manager. After doing MDM workflow installations, able to initiate the MS Visio Workflow from MDM Data Manager and can see the Pane-MS Visio Workflow Stencil but not the able to see the Pane-MS Visio Workflow Stencil Details that appears below the Pane-MS Visio Workflow Stencil. Secondly geting a pop-up with the error message as - 'Unable to retrieve workflow data from MDM repository.'
I have added a parameter Mail Server=MailServerIPAddess (the existing IP addr), but it hasn't helped.

As Felix mentioned, it might be a version compatibility problem.
You have also mentioned that mail server is not working for that do this

MDM workflow notify task is working after rebooting the Machine. So the rule is after making changes to MDS.ini file reboot the machine ,to observe the consequence of configurable changes.

I am getting an error while retrieving bulk data from MDM. The error goes like this "NiRawReadError: An error occured when reading data from socket.".

I have written vo.executeQuery for the table...My page is running but i m not getting the data....I have to select two LOV's and when I click on Go button the data has to display in the table...After the selection of LOV's when I click on Go in the table "No data exists" message is appearing...the table has the data and the query is also executing...please give info where i did the mistake.... -
How do I retrieve lost data from my phone
1.previously sync/downloaded iphone to a pc
2.February during a sync process, i unplugged the cord.
download was not completed.
3.Lost info from February to May
4.How do I retrieve #3 above.

now my feb-May data is lost on the iphone, but according to the apple store, it is still on my pc.

V have created an application in Visual Basic with the following fields
EmpNo , EmpName, Addr1, Addr2, City and Phone (Only for Test)
We have written the code for SAVING the data into SAP. Already we have
constructed a table with the respective fields in SAP.

COULD ANYBODY GUIDE ME, HOW TO RETRIEVE THE DATA FROM BAPI, FOR THE WRITTEN CODE.I didn't seen any other answers but here's how it's been done previously in our organization for a custom BAPI. In this example, we give material and language to return the part description. It's not specific to your project but may give you ideas..

Adobe Form with XML interface cannot retrieve all data from SAP
hi all
I want to use the Adobe forms for the real estate module.
I had seen that adobe forms can have an interface with XML input and output as parameter.
In the interface type only the /DOCPARAMS an the DOCXML are INPUT parameters which are available.
No other INPUT parameter can be added to it.
When i try to retrieve the data in real estate there are some default function modules for retrieving the data from real estate.
But this function modules also are going to find out if the form which asks for this information has a IMPORT parameter
for the required data. For example, the SENDER data is retrieved, but before the default function module retrieve this data
the function module checks if the form has a INPUT parameter SENDER.
And that is not the case. And i cannot create the SENDER parameter to it, because this INTERFACE type does not allow it.
Does anybody know a solution herefore?

It is a long time ago, almost 2 years.
I created my own custom development for calling the Adobe form. This custom development uses the correct function module interface with the IMPORT XML.
The XML which i sent as IMPORT PARAMETER to the form is also created by own custom development. Via the default XML class of SAP
So that was my solution
