I started to download a free app but it's too big to load without connecting to wifi. I want to delete it. Can anyone tell me how to do it please?

I tried to download a free app. It came up with an error message saying it was too big to download and that I need to connect to WiFi. The icon is still displayed and I can't delete it (I've decided I don't want it. Can anyone tell me how to delete it - there's no x displayed on the icon. Thanks

You will either a) need to connect to WiFi and complete the download or b) dock your iPad and remove it from the apps list once synced (your iTunes will more then likely want to complete the download first also, which you may be able to cancel in the downloads section).

It prints things off ok but only alphabetical lists of songs.
I do not know how to get the songs into the correct order and print them off.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Apple set up the App and iTunes store to require a valid payment method evn for free apps.
You can however set up a new App store account withut a credit card. That account is only good for free apps.

In case you have accidentally purchased anything, you will have a receipt within a couple of days to your mail id. You can reverify the purchase, if any.

Is this a new account? Even though its a free app the account holder needs to be verified by a verifiabel payment method. Once the account is created, you can remove the info.

Your iTunes account sounds like it does not have a credit card or payment attached to it. Even free apps require that you have entered payment information even though you won't be charged for the app.

Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... (But can take Longer..)

Download the iBooks app and go to the Store after lauching that. Come back and ask again if you are having problems.
You can worry about Kobo at some later point, it has nothing to do with Apple and you should seek help at the site of the people who make it.

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:

Download the apps on your syncing computer and then sync to the iPod. Note that you can only sync apps for the one syncing computer you use with the iPod. You can manage music and videos among different computer.
