I stupidly upgraded the software to my Iphone 3s and now it won't connect to my Mac which is a PowerPC and the Itunes update is only for Intel Macs so......now what?
well I stupidly upgraded my Iphone 3s to 6.0.1 and now it isn't compatable with Itunes but I run a PowerPC and the itunes is only for an Intel Mac so.........now what? It's more important for me to have my Iphone communicating with my older Itunes so what older software do I need for my phone since I'm not buying an Intel Mac.My Protools would not like it.

i upgraded new software onto my iphone 4 however it stopped syncing and said error so when i tried to access my phone the itunes USB was showing in my phone screen and now i cannot access my phone
When it stopped and said error, what was the error? You are saying that you disconnected the phone from the computer and all you see is the USB showing on the phone? Then you need to reconnect to the computer and restore the phone.

I upgraded the software on my iphone 4 and now it's downloading every email message from all my accounts (all previously read). 200 at a time. Manual delete is a problem since there are 3500. Suggestions?
Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -
I just upgraded the software on my iPhone 4s. Now the touchscreen doesn't work and on the screen is the itunes logo, an arrow and a plug. I have powered it off and on and nothing changes
The iTunes icon and cable means that it's gone into recovery mode - you will need to connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and you should be able to use that to reset the phone, and you can then restore/resync your content to it

Upgrading the OS does not remove your apps and purchases. -
Since Upgrading the software on my Iphone 3GS to the iOS5, I have not been able to back up my on my laptop, it starts syncing then kicks me out.
I have uninstalled my internet security and that is not the problem (so re-installed)
I have updated the Windows XP to service Pack 3
I have un installed and re installed iTunes as well
And none of this has worked!
I was going to upgrade my phone to the iPhone 4S but dont feel i can now as worried it wont sync.
Please can anyone help me as this is rather frustrating now!

If the problem persists after you reboot as suggested by Ralph:
Trouble connecting usually means interference, or another WiFi on the same channel.
If you have any cordless phones, keyboards, or cameras, check what frequency they use.
From a MAC or Windows machine you can see what channel each of the available networks are using. Make sure your network is on a channel nobody else nearby is also using. -
I just updated the software on my iphone 4 and prior to updating I could double click and start the camera without logging in, now I can't. How do I fix?
Nothing to fix...things have changed...slide the camera icon up now..no more double tap.

Updated the software on my iphone 4 last night and now none of my purchased apps will open. They start to and then immeadiately close.
Try restoring from a backup. Connect the iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes. Right or control click the iPhone under Devices in the source list then click: Restore from Backup.

Your screen is probably broken in that area and the "ink spot" you think you see is LCD liquid on the inside of the panel that's leaked and spread out.
