When I click on it, I briefly see a word that I think says "reauthorizing" but the word flashes too quickly to tell for sure.

My right click is not working and producing the context menu or ability to drag files and folders. I just spoke with a phone support person and we checked that all the mouse/trackpad options for right click were correct and checked.
Please can you help with this.

Screen is blurred and can only see in the bottom left corner
Please help. I turned my nano on this morning and the screen appears to be blurred. I can see my lists and song information out of the bottom left corner of the screen. If I scroll through by memory, it does actually play the music. This leads me to believe that it is only something wrong with the screen. Has anyone had this happen before? Suggestions?
Unfortunately, it's possible that your iPod's screen might be broken.
In that case, you would have to get your iPod's screen replaced if you wanted the problem to be fixed.
But before you do that, try restoring your iPod, as this might fix the issue, if it does not relate to the physical condition of the screen.

If you've admin privileges and there are no files in the user account that you want to keep, just go to System Preferences>Users & Groups and unlock it with your admin password. Select the user that you want to delete and click on the minus button. You'll get a warning before you completely delete the user but once it's gone, it's gone.

Using iMovie. I selected "New Movie" from the menu. Now when I click on "Events" all I see is the movie. There are no imported video cups to select from. What did I do?
At the top middle of the screen is a clips filter. Make sure that "All Clips" is selected.

I got a new macbook pro recently. I was planning to move data from my old mac but couldn't resist to turn it on right away. In doing this I ended up having to set the profile up on my new mac. One step in this process is to move data from a different mac. Since I hadn't read up on the details of this step yet I chose to skip it. When I finally was ready to move the data from my old mac I was forced to create a another new profile.
I now have two profiles on my new mac and I'm desperate in trying to figure out how I can remove the old profile.

the way to delete a user account is to log in as the administrative user which you wish to keep, and open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. If the padlock in the lower-left corner of the System Preferences window is locked, click on the padlock to unlock it (by giving it your administrative user’s password). Select the user account that you would like to delete, and press the “-” button at the bottom of the list of user accounts. Relock the padlock if desired, and exit System Preferences. -

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu. -

After upgrading from 8 to 9.0.1 I no longer have any search engines installed. I would like to install Google as my default search engine. When I click on “get more search engines” I cannot find Google or Bing or …I resolved my issue. Renamed search.sqlite and reinstalled Firefox 9.0.1

Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it

I can see my previously purchase music, it says downloaded but why can't i download the music? The were accidentally deleted from the itune folder?

I tried following the instructions in the Apple support forum for removing duplicates in iTunes, but I got stuck very quickly. When I click File, I do not see the option of displaying exact duplicates, which is what the Apple fourm suggests. Advice welcome.
